PUerview : mbaya Hey mbaya ... c'mon down !! I'm pleased to announce that mbaya has agreed to be our next PU Interviewee. We're looking forward to learning a little more about this regular here at PU. We hear that you like to cook. How did that become something you're interested in? 6. If you could bang any porn star or celebrity, who would it be? 7. If you had to choose, would you rather be a porn star or the director? 8. What's the first adult material (porn) that you recall seeing? 9. What part of the world did you grow up in? Any interesting childhood stories? 10. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be? 11. If another porn user looked at your porn stash, what would they probably notice first? 12. In general, how much do you trust adult sites? With your credit card ...to deliver what they promise ... etc? 20. Have you ever gotten tricked into cross-sales or offers you didn't mean to accept? 21. When reading your PU Reviews, what should fellow users keep in mind about you? 22. 1. Can you describe a typical work day? I work only part time. At present I work three days a week. I teach as a college professor, so most of my day is spent either teaching, grading papers or tutoring. It is an easy life and I really can't complain. 2. Is there anything noteworthy about your education? I have an MA in teaching English as a Second Language to Adults. I also have a certificate in International Banking that I earned when I was working in a foreign bank on Wall St. 3. What kind of car do you drive? I have a 1999 Mercury Tracer. It is good on gas, but more importantly it was paid off several years ago. 4. Do you drink? If so, what's your favorite drink? I don't drink and I don't smoke. However I collect decorative liquor bottles and antique cigarette lighters. 5. We hear that you like to cook. How did that become something you're interested in? I think every guy should learn this valuable skill. If you like to eat, you should be able to make something you like. I learned to cook out of necessity when I got divorced in 1976. I am an old guy, what did you expect me to say? 2006? Edited on Oct 29, 2009, 03:27pm

6. If you could bang any porn star or celebrity, who would it be? It is so hard to pick just one, so I will give two. I would love to be with Tera Patrick or Jada Fire. Since this is only a fantasy, can I have any more wishes? 7. If you had to choose, would you rather be a porn star or the director? I pick director. Pornstar sounds fun, but I would be too self conscious and definitely too nervous. The casting couch sounds better than performing in front of a crowd on camera. 8. What's the first adult material (porn) that you recall seeing? Pictures, I saw a Playboy before I even got into high school. I had to wait about ten years for films. I saw Behind the Green Door, Deep Throat, Alice in Wonderland and more. This was in the movies with others watching in the crowd. When VHS came out, I became the pervert I am now. 9. What part of the world did you grow up in? Any interesting childhood stories? I have always lived in the New York Metro area. When I was seven, the neighborhood budding sluts of the same age put on a show for the guys in the yard behind the apartment building. This was the first time I saw live pussy and ass. At the time this was a big turn on, but I was far too young to do anything about it. 10. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be? I never really thought about it, but I love to travel and see new things, besides the obvious I saw in number 9. Edited on Oct 29, 2009, 04:01pm

11. If another porn user looked at your porn stash, what would they probably notice first? I don't really know. I feel I have a lot of variety, but who knows what someone else might think? 12. What's your favorite kind of porn? Probably oral. However I like a lot of things. 13. What do you do for relaxation? I love baseball and hockey. I used to sell baseball cards for a living and sports seems to come naturally. I also watch a lot of science fiction, especially Star Trek. 14. What are the main things you look for when reading the reviews of fellow PU's? Definitely the opinions. By now I have an idea as to how mine compare to other regulars. But I also know that sometimes what I like is not very popular. Getting a bit off topic, there are several of us who are close to a points milestone. I hope to see very soon some new names in the over 100 points club. I also think some of the younger members may be around long enough to eventually become the number 1 reviewer. I am thinking specifically of Dracken and James4096. In the relatively short time they have been here, they have done more in both quantity and quality than I would have expected. 15. Do you have a life goal or something special you'd like to accomplish? I would love to write a book. If not, I would try to have a porn stash bigger than Badandy's. Just joking as I think he will hold the Guiness Book of World Records mark for all time. 16. Can you tell us about any special skills or talents you may have? I find learning languages to be very easy. I know that is a rare talent, but for me no big deal. Many people have told me that makes me unusually smart, but I disagree. We all have special talents at something and this happens to be mine. 17. Do you ever have problems fitting your porn collecting into your regular life? Not really. I have time during my off days every week, but also there is time such as spring break, winter break, summer breaks, etc. 18. Do you think porn addiction exists and should it require professional help? I never really thought about the topic. I suppose it does, but each person has to decide if porn is taking up too much of their life. 19. In general, how much do you trust adult sites? With your credit card ...to deliver what they promise ... etc? With credit cards, I have had a few problems, but I must say they have been rare. As far as delivering what they promise, many sites are unethical in that the tour no way represents what you get. I feel a bigger problem is that tours are incomplete. 20. Have you ever gotten tricked into cross-sales or offers you didn't mean to accept? Unfortunately, yes I have been tricked into cross sales. My first post was about a dishonest website and how I had to fight them over charges that I had cancelled. They then billed me for a sister site that I didn't know about. I have a very negative feeling when I see cross sales. I stay away from sites that have prechecked boxes. 21. When reading your PU Reviews, what should fellow users keep in mind about you? My taste is uniquely mine. Each person has to see things their own way. I would never want someone to assume my opinions are the only ones. Also, I would not want PUers to think you have to spend a fortune in order to contribute reviews. I often have joined sites that had full access previews, downloaded what I wanted and then wrote a review. Further, many networks offer good deals. A decent network may have a few sites worth reviewing. I especially prefer sites within networks that have not been reviewed yet, even if I give them a low score. Another point is that since I have time, I may gamble on sites that I may end up not liking very much. I wouldn't recommend that as a strategy though. 22. What would you say to encourage others to give a forum interview? We can still be as anonymous as we want and still be part of an interesting community. 23. What's your favorite part of PornUsers.com ? The civility of our contributors. It is often difficult to share our opinions about porn openly with non PUers, so I appreciate that we can form a pretty decent, friendly, polite group.

These are some great answers mbaya! It always fascinating to read another user's interview and find out a little more about them and what makes them tick. I guess it pays to be brave. A couple of questions: how long have you been teaching? And when were you working on Wall Street? Was it during the Gordon Gekko '80s by any chance? (Okay, that's three.) I have been teaching since 2004. I worked on Wall St from 1987 to 1993. Teaching has been the easiest job. I have a lot of freedom and independence. The most fun job was selling baseball cards. I did that from 1993 to 2004.

Great interview, mbaya. I have one question directed not only at you but at all those in this forum: when you mention being a "pervert" do you mean it or is it tongue in cheek? I would be willing to bet that at least 90 percent of all males love to look, which would make the ones that don't the true perverts! :-)

I meant it tongue in cheek. I think almost all males love to look and that it is perfectly normal. Men are visual and think about sex all the time. What we do here is just be open about it, instead of pretending that we are asexual.

You mentioned a few people close to the 100 points mark, why do I get the feeling that a little bit of that might have been pointed at me?!?! If you received a blank check that could only be used for buying a car, what car would you like to have (dream car)? Hi Andy, You are one of my favorites at PU and I would never cross the line into negativity. I think it is great that there are several here who are close to the milestone. I hope we have many more. As far as cars, I am not very much into them, so that is hard for me to answer. My dream car is low on gas, cost free to maintain, is paid for and runs forever while looking new.

I have a few questions if you don't mind answering, mbaya. I find it interesting for someone who does not drink to collect bottles. Can you tell me which are your favorites and why, plus maybe the reason why you enjoy collecting these? As far as you cooking, what do you think your best dish is? Is it an old recipe you learned from perhaps your mother/father/granny/etc? Or, did you create it from scratch? I enjoy cooking a lot (primarily asian dishes) and love talking about cooking. As far as you saying you would love to travel, have you actually traveled anywhere that you really loved? How long has it been since you last traveled? Love the read so far mbaya and I'm glad you stepped up to plate, although I think I put the burden on you by nominating you :) Sexted From My iPad

Hi GCode, Don't apologize for suggesting I be interviewed as I found it to be a lot of fun. I inherited my stepfathers bottle collection. He had mostly decorative ones he had picked upon his travels around the world. Each one is unique, some are quite old, and they remind me of a great guy. I have found the best ones come from the duty free shops in airports, although at Christmastime many liquor companies issue special ones. I would say my favorite is a sake bottle from Japan in the shape of a ceramic geisha girl. I really miss one that broke though. It was a bottle of Mexican tequila in the shape of a worm. It was worth maybe $500, but it meant a lot more than money to me. If anything, being a nondrinker has made it easier to collect the bottles. I am not tempted to open them up and start drinking. They are much more interesting, as well as valuable, unopened. I have about 150 bottles-but that makes them difficult to store and display. I collect them because each is fascinating in its own way, as they are all of different objects, often ones somehow connected to the contents. Some have been expensive, in the range of over $200, but I have seen some for sale as much as $2000. As much as I have wanted some in this price range, I just can't. One I saw was hand blown glass of a pirate ship, containing rum, of course. It was three feet long and about a foot high. I have been to several places I really enjoyed, such as Mexico City, Rome, Pompeii, Madrid, Toledo, Lima and Macchu Piccu. In Rome I bought a bottle of lemon liqueur in the shape of a giant lemon. It is a real work of art from an Italian company. Being extremely limited in its production, I probably couldn't find one in the US at any price. My last trip was the one to Lima/Macchu Picchu two years ago. As far as cooking, I love Italian food, although I am not Italian. I also enjoy making Chinese and Indian dishes. I make a mean meatloaf, but that is so easy. The same for soup. I have tried to make many things and it is hard to pick a favorite. The funny thing about cooking is that I am the only one in my family who cooks. I don't have any family recipes, what a shame. Unfortunately, I come from a long line of makers of tv dinners, ready made and take out. I like food too much to see these as the only choices.

I know it's hard to express humor over the internet but I was saying the suggestion for your interview in good fun and the fact that I was truly interested in you as the next interviewee :) As far as the response goes, that bottle with the geisha sounds extremely sweet, I'd love to see that first hand (and crack it open to take a nice glass as well :)) I can honestly see that being a nondrinker would greatly up the value in those bottles because you would have no urge to drink any, I think I'd last maybe a week before cracking any of those open :) That's a lot of bottles though, 150 would take up a lot of space. Do you display them on anything or do you just store them somewhere for safe keeping? Laugh out loud about that pirate bottle being three feet long? That's a huge bottle, what is that like 5 gallons of rum? :) That's sweet that you have been so many places in travel, while I find myself to be still kind of young (27 now, my birthday was actually a week ago) but I feel that I will never get a chance to travel as much as you have. It seems you really enjoy South American history with the majority of your visits to that region. Especially with all the talk of 'the end of the world' with those Mayan dates and so on, I bet so many are traveling to that area these days. Hey man, don't knock the fact that you can make a mean meatloaf. Anyone who can say that and it is truly good, meatloaf is the shit! And, soup is actually great. Plus, there is a understanding amongst true chefs, if you can make a quality soup, then you are a true cook. What's your favorite Chinese dish, let alone Asian dish? For me, I am a huge fan of Japanese cuisine and always attempt to make dishes from that area. I love some good Chinese food as well, but I can never make it as good as some of my favorite Chinese take-out places! :( Thanks for the answers to the questions so far, I am enjoying the interview and I'm happy you enjoyed answering them. Take it easy and I'll see you around of course. Sexted From My iPad

Hi GCode, The liquor bottles are in various places around my house. If you didn't know what they were, you might think they were just various objects. Some are also in storage in the basement. The geisha is from the 1950's and I wouldn't bet my life it still has any alcohol left. If the seal is not put on tightly, alcohol can evaporate over long periods of time. By the way, the pirate ship didn't look like it had a lot of rum in it as it was a lot of long thin lines for the sails with only a relative small body. The value I am sure was in the difficulty of hand blowing such a delicate precise shape. During my travels, the place that I definitely enjoyed the most was Pompeii. It felt so real that it was easy to imagine living Romans actually living there. They were so sex obsessed, much more than us here at PU. They had pictures painted on each wall showing the owners doing what was appropriate. In the bedroom they were clearly having sex. In the houses of prostitution, they had paintings on the wall so the illiterate customers could point to what they wanted. Sex acts were about the same cost as a half a glass of cheap wine. As if that were not enough, they had penis shaped wind chimes in their doorways and courtyards. The wives didn't react if they had sex with slaves or prostitutes, as that was accepted behavior. I am not sure if they were jealous, but their culture allowed men complete sexual freedom with these two kinds of women. My favorite Chinese dish is probably chow fun. It is incredibly easy to make. This is very true of most dishes in Chinese restaurants. The secret is very fresh ingredients and very, and I mean very, high flames for very fast cooking. Good quality ingredients make good food, not so much your technique. I haven't tried Japanese food yet, but many years ago as a very young man I got a bj from a Japanese prostitute. Does that count?

Sorry for the late response, I was meaning to get to this but totally forgot. Right on about the geisha bottle but of course, it's probably the bottle that counts the most. I really wish I could see a pic of the bottle because I am enamoured with Japanese culture and I especially love traditional Japanese women portayed as geishas. Do you know if this bottle was hand blown like the pirate ship bottle or was it just a special/mass produced bottle that is rare to find? I find it cool that you display the bottles but I think you should create a sweet showcase room for the bottles with custom shelves and so on. I just think that would be a sweet room to show off for others but to also show pride in your collection for yourself. I actually just watched a special on the history channel about Pompeii and their 'freaky' tales :) They showed a lot of rooms with not only explicit paintings but windows to showcase the sexual activities that were probably taking place within these rooms. Really kinky for a society so ancient and I would never think that these things would be going on (I guess these things are not really talked about in school, thanks history channel). I don't think I've had Chow Fun which actually sounds like I should have had it because it sounds quite traditional :) What exactly is it and what makes it the best dish for you? I've found that lots of Chinese recipes call for ginger and a lot of salt or soy sauce. I do love it though. However, technique does seem to hold truth for cooking in general, I know people who can fuck up mac n' cheese :) Give yourself some credit. As far as you getting a bj from a Japanese girl, I would have to disagree. If you ate her out, maybe we can say you had some quality food from Japan, maybe it tasted like quality sushi? :) Sexted From My iPad

GCode, The geisha bottle is Limoges porcelain, which is very high class as well as expensive. My other Limoges is a cask of cognac from France. I wish I had a room just for the bottles, but I just don't have the space. As far as chow fun, it is a kind of broad noodle with various ingredients added. I would send pictures, but you don't have your email listed in your profile.

The geisha girl bottle eventually was given to a family member as a gift. I also put up some shelving to showcase more bottles. If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask.
