Announcement: Where To Go From Here (Suggestion Thread!) Hello my lovelies! After everything that happened last week, the PU team got together and came up with a bunch of suggestions to help improve the forum. We listened, we read and we came up with some ideas. Before anything is enacted, I wanted it to throw it to you guys to hear your thoughts - what we can improve on, anything you'd want to add, what you disagree with etc. So here we go! 1. Member of the Month! The idea around here would be pretty straight forward. Each month, you guys nominate a member of the month - who wrote the best reviews, who was the best community member. The winner is chosen by a random raffle and would win a 30 day membership to a porn site of their liking! 2. Raffle changes! a. The prizes stay the same. We'll change the word count for a Good Reviews to be 100-150 words and an Excellent Reviews to be 150-200 words. b. First time reviewers, we'll add extra points (to be determined) which I will do manually. c. We'll begin doing a Raffle breakdown. This means that everyone needs to get in their reviews by Sunday, on Monday I will breakdown the reviews, explaing why they got certain points and then do the raffle on Tuesday. d. For the first prize winner, I'll reach out to them and ask if they'd prefer a 30 day membership to the site of their choosing or the money. 3. Regarding setting up a reporting system, we'll talk to the tech team to set up something in the future but for now, DM me if you see anything suspicious/something you're uncomfortable with and I'll get that sorted. 4. We're looking in to bring in other female members. If you guys no one any women who'd want to join, please bring them along. Us women can form our little Women's Porn Lover Club! 5. We'll be pinning all suggested threads, alongside start new trends, including a new Raffle Threads, Sites Not List, A General Porn User, New Members suggestion thread. 6. I'll start more threads involving non-porn related subjects! Always good to talk about more stuff than boobs and pussies  7. We'll be keeping an eye on any sort of IP fraud - if there are any members who are rigging the raffle, we'll ban them. 8. I just wanted to make it clear, but we've never banned members. For the humor element, it seems when we talk about "normal" topics, it usually ends up going back to boobs and pussies 
What about, like in my situation, where I would like to have my girlfriend join? She would be from the same IP as me. Is there a way to turn off her raffle eligibility? As mentioned before, I can't see her reviewing sites but I wouldn't want to run into a situation where our same IP shows up. I was, at one time, thinking there was an option to turn off raffle eligibility but I've looked through my profile and can't find it. And don't feel bad for her having her raffle eligibility turned off. She figured out to sign in with my Amazon account and use my gift card balance. Here I was thinking she just wanted to use my Kindle Unlimited account. My first time I jacked off, I thought I'd invented it. I don't see any sense or purpose in excluding someone from the raffle if they write a review that earns one point or more. Whether they are male or female. A partner, wife, or companion of a PU member. Also, the idea of offering a 30-day membership in place of a prize does not make a lot of sense. First prize is $100, which more than covers almost all porn site memberships. Second and third prizes are $50, which also more than covers most porn site memberships. Of course, the prize is not cash, but an Amazon gift certificate, but the Amazon gift certificate is almost the equivalent of cash. You can run a member poll asking if a PU member would prefer an Amazon gift certificate for $50 versus a 30-day membership. My guess is that few, if any PU members, would take the 30-day membership. Although there are a few sites that might charge more than $50/month, but they are rare. And not very popular, I'm guessing. Could you expand on IP fraud and rigging the raffle? Using worthless reviews to enter the raffle seems to be the only obvious ploy I can think of. Should we be looking for mafia connections in the background of PU members (joke, but not a very funny one). IP: a PU member using more than one alias to enter the raffle? To promote porn sites that he is getting paid to promote? I assume this has happened, but I also guess it's kind of rare for the PU site. But if a PU member has the technical expertise to use different aliases, I also assume it would be difficult to detect it. That is assuming the thief has the ability to cover his tracks, with VPN and other tools. My best guess is that most PU members give honest reviews and comments. At least, that's the way I see it. Years ago, Roseman had his wife join. They both won a raffle in the same week. Khan saw that they were from the same IP and he got very upset. I see that Roseman hasn't been around in awhile so I don't remember all of it exactly but I'm pretty sure either him or his wife had to remove their eligibility from the raffle/stop reviewing. After much talk, Khan said it was something he didn't really agree with (making one be ineligible for the raffle) but he said what would stop one member from creating 3-4 accounts and receiving multiple entries in the raffle. And I'm positive we used to have a tick box in our profiles where we could remove our eligibility for the raffle. I even remember a couple of members doing it. My profile has been strange over the years. My bio cleared itself at one point. Then, it wouldn't let me enter new information in the bio. Then, the bio completely disappeared. Now, it's back. I'm sure it all dates back to when we had that huge forum crash that wiped out some of the old posts in the forum, too. My girlfriend, that I know of, hasn't ever joined a porn site but she will mention one or two she might be interested in then I'll join it. She can be a little self-conscious about her English but I tell her we're not a grammar site. Because of that self-consciousness, she probably wouldn't ever try to write a review but I am willing to mention her thoughts in my reviews. One place she differs from most of us is she doesn't understand the technical parts like photo and video resolutions. My first time I jacked off, I thought I'd invented it. Please excuse some of what I have to say as I am inexperienced, as the old British saying goes, I could be talking out of my arse! Now then...
This could be good. Personally, I would do away with the raffle in this scenario as the whole concept of "member of the month" is who did the most/was the best for the community on that month. It should be based on the number of nominations/votes and if there's a tie you could randomnise it between them. But, as mbaya said, this needs refining so you obviously can't nominate yourself and no one should be able to win more than once a year - previous winners should be excluded from nominations. You should list them and warn ahead in a post either in a new thread or within a thread before people can go ahead and make their votes. I don't think this should be done through polls as that can be rigged in my opinion, people replying through posts have more legitimacy.

I disagree with this. Like lk2fireone said, the $100 Amazon gift card more than covers virtually all 30 day memberships, not many who'd win 1st place would opt for the membership instead in my eyes. But I think that could be a different story for the 2nd and 3rd place winners at $50 - it's still more than almost all memberships but is a bit more viable in that respect. Instead, I think the liberty should be taken that all three spots should be allowed a 30 day membership. But, I think the member should email you within a certain time span and if they don't then message you within that they must be assumed to opt for the gift card - in which case give them the gift card. Given how uncommon it will be for a member to go for the membership over the gift card anyway, I think this will be feasible and won't result in a barrage of emails. I might have some uses for a free membership is all.
A reporting system would be great.

I think "Sites Not Listed" could use a new thread personally, as that was started from back in 2016. I have a few websites that I like that aren't on the database.

You also can give trust votes where you feel it would help as both Khan and Amanda did occasionally. I would like the trust vote system revitalized. We need to leave a negative in order to flag those you should check out. Leaving a positive trust vote is an easy kind of recognition. I leave them for new members who put effort into their reviews, comments, etc. When I first started here the welcoming attitude kept me around. If anyone ran into the problem I was running into, being unable to give trust votes, using the Chrome browser fixes it. I've tried it in Firefox, Opera and Edge with no success. In those three, the "submit" button is crossed out and has the text "submit" but it doesn't work. My first time I jacked off, I thought I'd invented it.
