VideoBox - a Cold Turkey Spending too much money on pornsites - again. Up to 6 or 7 sites at the moment. How does this stops? Well, join VideoBox - and things suddenly feels like 'the daily rutine' - as propaGhandi puts in the In Focus Girls - review. The Cold Turkey goes like this: You can spend hours searching for those videos in hundreds of ways: pornstars, categories, studios ect. Browsing for porn is/can be fun - but when things just go on and on in the same way, the funs seems to fade.....AND when you finally find some material to your liking, how's the quality? WAY to much material at VideoBox is where the quality was years ago - blurred or half blurred - take those old Private-videos, the Legend-ditto - and most of H2 where you can search the euro-stuff, too. And no matter if you choose DVD- og high-quality. 'DVD-quality' - it's a laugh. Been downloading a lot lately - even just trying out those in many ways fine costum-clips where you can get kind of previews/part-clips...well, you all know - most of us has been at VideoBox MANY times. Bottomline - have not found any videos here at VideoBox that comes nowhere near, say the new 21Sextury - in quality... Wow, 6-7 memberships. I have 3 at the moment and feel that's a lot, I constantly have to hold back so I don't suddenly have half a dozen sites to review. You can browse Videobox' (and VideosZ') collection without being a member to check if there's enough interesting stuff to warrant a new membership. That's what I do every now and then, but there's just too much of the same old same old. Some of the user comments at Videobox are priceless though: "I waited two hours for this?" imagine having been through everything at Videobox and just sitting around and waiting for the next update... :-/ I always thought Videobox' DVD-quality was quite crisp and clear, but then again haven't been a member at 21sextury so can't compare with that. | |

Yes, spending way too much money at the moment, but now it's: VideoBox, Club Sandy, Babespotting, NU Dolls, Twistys, Ero Berlin (and always: Easynews). Joined VideoBox again primarely for the latin-material here - some really fine. Been at VB several times over the years (and goes back for previews sometimes) - but never stay more than a month or two - still hoping for better quality - BUT quite a lot of sites come up with far more crisp videos. My main problem with Video Box is that it is too mainstream. I didn't see too much (any?) niche, read fetish, material in my recent four months membership. Just the usual Gonzo "anal to mouth to facial" in its various forms. I'm doing better with Videosz at the moment they actually had TWO updates of GILF (over fifty?) DVDs recently. I was so shocked I sent support a compliment for looking after minorities! :-) | |

Despite my last comment about SkinVideo, and if you're not dedicated to only hi-def, you guys might have a browse there. I just ran through a couple of pages and it seems they're back on track with some "departures from the run-of-the-mill gonzo". A good mix of amateur and what they call pro-amateur stuff going up. Sarcasm is a body's natural defense against stupidity. | |

Can I ask what to expect on this one? I'm a sucker for a particular girl, and the little preview video they have has her in a few scenes, some of which were previously posted at babes.tv, though one that has never been scene elsewhere. I've paid more for less before, money is not a limiting factor for me. I'm not expecting much at all, just curious what is actually inside that site, and if they continue to update or not. Thanks | |

I'd suggest cutting back on your porn spending. Join less sites. You would probably get more satisfaction from fewer sites, as well as save money. It's psychology. There's probably some psych terms to describe it, but you're looking through a lot of garbage to find the good stuff, and you don't really appreciate the good stuff you do find because you're jaded, less responsive to what there is. | |

I thought videobox was quite good during my brief time as a member. Big selection of dvds to download, even though they seemed to be the older mainly late 90s early 2000's stuff. Sometimes they got the porn stars name incorrect but that's a minor point. The quality of the dvd format was adequate. But i found the download speeds quite slow compared to some other sites but overall you get a great choice of dvds for a nice price so can't complain. | |

Hi, big johnny. The answer to your positive assessment is found in your "my brief time as a member." First time around I found all kinds of good stuff as well but if you are not content with the usual Gonzo style DVD being put out and go for the less mainstream contents then, during a second or third subscription, you will find very little that will appeal to you. I would still highly recommend the site to first time subscribers. Nothing wrong with it basically except that they don't cater to those with minority tastes. But that's the nature of the business, I guess. | |

The comment about VideoBox has nothing to do with 'porn overload' - or a 'hold back in amounts of joined sites'.... (in spite of this users many sites at the moment - and, oh yes the much money spend) We've had threads before about the fact that a lot of old - and newer PUs - are joining quite a few sites at the same time - the reasons are simple: Porn is an everlasting hunt - especially when you've been porn-searching for years - THEN you naturally come across fine and NOT so fine material - and rather logical - joining sites you're not satisfied with, you go searching again.....and somtimes in spite of the costs. Searching for new stuff - AND - pretty importend to this user: Reading the reviews/comments/recommendations from PUs you know and rely on....and, of course has somewhat of the same favorite kinds of sites...
