Online porn dvd rentals. Looking for suggestions. Hey all, I'm looking to get started with renting dvds from an online site, and am looking for feedback from people who have done this as to which sites they have had success with and which ones to avoid. The good porn shops here in the Phoenix area are now an hour drive for me so I don't feel like doing that anymore. Please let me know, thanks. | |

I have tried a few online rental sites but I am currently using Bush DVD. They have a few features that I really like: 1. RapidReturn: You can notify them that you have put the DVD in the mail and they will ship out your next movie, even if they haven't received your prior ones back. 2. 2 Movies @ a time: IMO, to save shipping, they send 2 movies in each envelope. That doubles the chances that you'll get one you enjoy. 3. Fast turnaround: I live in SoCal and Bush DVD is based in San Diego. I can usually count on a 1 day shipment in either direction. (I would guess that you would be similar in AZ.) I think that they have a free trial so you can figure out if you like it. | |

I've used X-Rent DVD off and on for years. They have a massive collection and prices are pretty reasonable. They too are located out of California - so you'll probably get pretty good shipping speed. They also will do recommendations and allow you to rate DVDs and so on. DVDs ship in a basic looking white envelope labeled 24-7. The main benefit of X-Rent is the sheer number of DVDs they have to choose from. Though they don't have a massive quantity of each DVD, so sometimes you'll have to wait a bit to get a specific DVD. Excaliburfilms - I would avoid this place because they have lots of movies here but the challenge is actually getting them as most of your queue will not be available and they aren't prone to sending you the wrong movie from your queue. I once had them send me a movie from 30 feet into me queue when I was trying to get something that was checked out for a month, it finally comes in and I rush it to the top of my queue and they don't even send it, I was pissed off and that was the last straw of many straws. They have a free vod collection that they never update and it seems like they keep new releases out of the hands of new members for a month, I am not positive about that but it seemed like it when I first joined. Just avoid it. Adult DVD Empire - It's alright if you don't mind waiting 3 or 4 days for the shipping back a forth without a rapid return, it feels like you are getting ripped off because it takes so long, they have nice selections as well but like excaliburfilms, most of your queue will not be available for a while, so basically you end up having to just pick something instead of getting something you really want. These places are a pain in the ass so I went to online memberships, the movies are never checked out or unavailable, better value for your money imo. | |

I have used both Sugardvd and Adult DVD Empire for about 2 years now. They are both fairly decent. I had used Bush Dvd, but they are simply too far away. The biggest thing to look for is amount of selection, you should be able to browse without paying. The other equally important issue is where is their closest distribution center is compared to you. Most porn rentals do not have as many shipping points as Netflix. So it is very likely you will have an extra day in the mail if you do not have a shipping point reasonably close. Typically if it has to close state lines you can count on an extra day for shipping. This is a significantly cheaper way to get fresh porn all the time with out having to pay $40 a piece. Plus, many of the rental places allow a 2 week trial or something similar. Also, many of them offer several different rental amount options. Anything from 1 at a time to 8 at a time. Pretty similar to Netflix. AdultDVDEmpire has worked great for me in the past. No problems with them. Another great rental site is BlueDoor.com. Shipping is fast and they have something like 60,000 titles to choose from. | |

I like adultdvdempire as well, but you need to be sure their facilities are not too far away or there will be too long of a turn around time on the movies. There are instances where sites license with other sites - I don't know if I'm expressing the business terminology correctly. For instance, there is a well-known forum that I've been asked not to mention the name of that has this relationship that I'm trying to describe with VideoBox. You can join Videobox under a completely different name and it's the same exact site - same exact updates, same exact price - but the forum that has this business relationship gets a piece of the profit if you join their "version". This is even more common in the world of supermarket type products. There's Tide - just as an example - and then there is the same exact stuff being sold under lots of different names | |

I was curious to see how the prices compared on both sites so I picked: "Strokin' to the oldies Venessa Del Rio". At Adultdvdempire it's 5.54$ for a 7day rental and at bluedoor it's 6.65$ for a 7day rental. To be certain I picked the most recent addition which is "Coed Cuties". at Adultdvdempire it's 9.58$ for 7 days and 11.50 at Bluedoor. That's a 20% increase in price. Talk about fucking the customer over. Not to mention but the prices at Adultdvdempire are quite expensive. A 7 day rental of Coed Cuties is only 5.95$ at HotMovies. Long live the Brown Coats. | |

I was a member for 3 dvd's out at a time at AdultDVDEmpire for about a year and half. It's not bad if you have a laundry list of movies you want too see and don't care which you receive (there is an option for them to send the next available or wait until the #1's are available in the queue). However, the waiting times (I'm in the midwest) were to send it back on monday and them receiving it on wednesday, tem to ship it that day, and getting the dvd's on friday. So, with that, I could rent 3 movies a week and 12 a month. I think it was about $25 or $30 for a month and this ended up being about $2 to $3 a movie which in the long run, I found to be way to expensive when compared to downloading from sites. But, if you do not care about all that and just want a few, the site is quite good actually. The searches are pretty good, the variety is okay, and the index helps a lot. So, if you do, I'd join for the membership rather than renting 1 at a time, it's a lot cheaper. Sexted From My iPad | |

I too have used Xrentdvd.com. They allow you to rent when you want, as many as you want, without paying for a monthly fee. Really quick turnaround time, with email confirmations of when the movies ship, as well as when they receive them upon return | |
