Is PornUsers too slow? During some recent testing, we noticed that parts of PornUsers were slower than they should be. So lately we've been working on improving the speed of certain things. The main focus was the speed of saving a review, comment, or reply. We are looking for some feedback on these issues: - Have you noticed an increase of speed on any part of PornUsers lately? - What parts of the site would you like to see improved speed wise? | |

I've noticed a couple of short delays when posting replies in the last few months but usually nothing more than a few seconds but that seems to be gone now. Even when the "time gaps" were longer it was not enough in my opinion to detract from the site. For me, all seems good in the PU universe ... except I ain't winning enough money ;) | |

Personally I have no complaint about the speed here. It is not like we are downloading our porn from this site, so a slight delay is not something that would cause me to go elsewhere. Really as long is the site is not loading at dial up speeds I would not put too much thought on it. I haven't had complaints about the speed of the site and I haven't noticed anything about navigating the site being faster than it used to be. | |

The latency on PU has never been a problem for me. The IBM study on the subject said that a latency of under 1 second is usually fine for normal text stuff and that it becomes a problem at 1.5 second or higher. PU's opeartion is about the same or better than other similar sites. | |
