When doing site reviews - you'll ALWAYS want to do this. I learned a valuable lesson when I started doing site reviews again. 90% of the time, though you can see that you are logged in at the top of the page, when you submit your site review, the site will wipe out everything you have written and tell you that you are not logged in and need to log in to do a site review. So ALWAYS - ALWAYS - copy your site review - or long posts to this forum - in a word doc before you hit post. You'll save yourself a world of frustration, if you do any kind of in-depth review. I think there was only 1 time when the site did not do that to me when I was posting a recent site review. It sucks, but if you save your entire review to word, it's not that big of a hassle.

I use notepad, a free program, instead of word. But I used your tip starting many years ago, after having numerous reviews going to internet heaven instead of being posted to the PU site.

This technical issue might be a contributing factor in the dearth of reviews in the last few months. "A man talking sense to himself is no madder than a man talking nonsense not to himself."

I'm pretty sure abolishing the weekly raffle in favour of the monthly one is the main contributing factor to the lack of activity here now. It's basically killed off the majority of user participation for weeks at a time now until the last 24-48 hours before the raffle deadline when the usual suspects show up to post a few reviews.

You can also click your name to open in a new tab before hitting submit on a review. It will show if you're still signed in. The few times I've done it and been signed out, you can sign back in from the new tab and it will be signed in when you hit submit on the review. It does go into my 13 years of superstition and obsessiveness. When I first started on PU back in 2007, I was off from work on Saturdays, Sundays and Tuesdays. There was no way I was spending my weekend writing reviews. It left me Monday night into Tuesday morning, the day of the old weekly raffle to post mine. One of the funniest, oldest PU stories was Khan said several members thought I had figured out some kind of exploit of the raffle algorithm so they started reviewing right before the weekly raffle deadline too. While there is no denying that getting your name picked in the raffle is amazing. I joined a couple of sites in the last few months and didn't bother writing a review because I didn't feel like doing it and I knew that meant my name would not be in the draw. I'm currently a member of two sites and I may write a review but it's not because of the raffle. I think what as far more affected the participation in this forum is that we have lost over the last couple of years some of our original members and we haven't added many new ones that are as prolific writers as those great ones. It probably doesn't help that there hasn't been all that many new sites to talk about in the last few years and 2020 as a whole as been even shittier than normal when it comes to life and porn in general. Sadly I visit but don't participate as much here while I am more involved in another forum but I miss interacting with the great ones that made this forum what it is. Long live the Brown Coats.

Yup I learned this the hard way as well. Side note, I haven't been reviewing sites as I snapped up a half dozen year long subscriptions on covid super specials so I haven't joined any new sites. Yeah, yeah, but your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could that they didn't stop to think if they should.
