I think I've only used DHD Media a few times with no problems, but that's been a few years. However I will not use Epoch ever again. Had a CC info stolen after signing up to a site with them and then 3 additional purchases from them that they wouldn't do anything about because I didn't have 2 pieces of information (subscription ID, email or CC #, of course only thing I had was the CC #). I'e heard others say that they haven't had a single problem with Epoch, so maybe it was just me.

Honestly, the most reliable billing companies I have had success with is CCBill and Epoch. I've heard Jeffrey99's story (the short version) and I think (hope) that it was a isolated incident and I'm sure most of the other PU's can account for Epoch being more quality than bad. But, it is the internet and anonymity is involved, so customer service can be a stinker to begin with. I have never used DHD Media so I cannot speak about them but I can tell you that Epoch has been good to me for over about 10-12 sites now so far. Sexted From My iPad

I have not had issues with either one of those companies. I would say to use which ever one you may intend to use again in the future. A good number of sites use epoch. My rule of thumb is the fewer people you give information to the better, and if you forget who processed your information to join a site the fewer places you have to guess the better. The only problem that I've had with either is that DHD Media frequently does not provide username & password with their confirmation e-mail - and sometimes doesn't send a confirmation e-mail. So put your username & password somewhere that you can find it again if your browser stops saving it - as still is the case with mine.

The only problems that I've had with Epoch is they stopped billing me, but left my memberships active! That is true, happened on Eve Angel's old site and Club Sandy too. Though most of us like the idea of free memberships to sites, I did send them emails and tell them that as much as I wanted to, I wouldn't take advantage of their mistake. That bothers me slightly since a mistake, whether to my benefit or not, is still a mistake. I still will use Epoch, they have a screen like ccbill has where you can see your accounts, cancel, change credit card, etc... I like DHD pretty good, haven't used them much though. On a side note, I actually had two errors with ccbill two months ago. One was they, for some reason, put an active account at the bottom of my accounts. This is a list that has over 100 site records in it and goes back to 2005, so of course, I'm not scanning down to the bottom with the belief a new account would be down there. I nearly missed canceling the site because of this error. The second one was much worse. It was a membership with Videobox, I was going to get the long-term membership and went to cancel the 1 month one I was using at that time. I go to cancel but it says, "Monthly/non-recurring". Which means no link to cancel! A few days later, I get a charge on my card for Videobox. I sent ccbill an email and captured screenshot of the page that said, "Non-recurring". They of course apologized and said they would credit my card back the price they had charged. Now just think if I had just went on thinking it canceled. I would have eventually noticed it, but that was a big mistake to me. Now, I check my billing accounts each week, scroll from top to bottom, making sure there aren't any errors like these. I guess all billing companies have their faults, just watch your account status as much as possible. My first time I jacked off, I thought I'd invented it. I looked down at my sloppy handful of junk and thought, This is going to make me rich. - Chuck Palahniuk

I've never had a problem with epoch (knock on wood). But always save your subscription ID. I copy it as soon as it shows on the confirmation page -- in a split second -- just before the confirmation page disappears, as it sometimes does. Then I paste it into my personal database of subscriptions. DHD Media, on the other hand, sometimes makes it a chore to quit. You go through screen after screen of "Don't go!" or other beseeching cries as they attempt to tantalize you into staying, sometimes with photos of content that has already been posted (e.g., at Digital Desire). It's especially bad at Danni, where you are required to choose why you are quitting and THEN also provide a reason to type in. Ridiculous! I just type in things like "because!" or "Quit Quit Quit!" The script detects text, and then you can finally move on and actually friggin' QUIT! Funny how it's actually possible for a porn site to be more co-dependent of its members than the members are of it. I wanted something new, so I left England for New England.

I do find it very annoying when something is hard to cancel. It also makes me wonder if it is really canceled. If they beg me that much to stay and make me jump through flaming hoops to cancel I do not have a great deal of faith in them actually honoring my cancellation request. I can account for what Cybertoad said about the prepaid debit cards and using them for both CCBill and Epoch. Both have accepted my prepaid debit card for their sites. Even Epoch tells you in their FAQ area that you can use them. CCBill does not tell you anywhere but I went out and did it anyways with 3 sites and had success. Sexted From My iPad
