TheSquirrel, while this isn't really an answer to your direct question, you might consider just getting an external hard drive. The prices these days are quite reasonable and it's a bit easier than going the route of burning DVD's. You just plug them into any USB port and then save your stash just as you would on your regular hard drive. Just a thought. There is no penalty for re-enabling one's account. It's a simple matter of writing us and having the account switched back to active. All former points, badges, remarks and even Trust Ratings are returned. Hope that helps. No reason given by CyberToad either. I did note that several Users recently said they were trying to cut back on their porn use. Guess that could include their participation here. We'll hope it's short lived and they'll be back soon. As far as emailing, no, if they've disabled their account then I'm pretty sure you can't email them through our system. In Windows, it's a matter of setting your preferences to tell the system you have two monitors. While I've never used two myself, my wife (a TBP Editor) does and swears by it. She can have a site open on one screen with the data entry page on the other. When we first opened, we did just that. However, what we quickly discovered is that it tended to lead to a lot of reviews/comments by "overly enthusiastic fans" who's input was often seen (by regulars) to be akin to shilling for the site. So, while we still offer webmasters the option of linking back to their listing at PornUsers, we no longer really activly promote it. By way of a reminder ... Those who haven't earned at least 5 points don't have their Review scores count towards the site's total score. As a rule, those who enter brief reviews with little "meat" don't earn point quickly ... thus, their scores don't really work against a site's score. I suspect you're confusing points with raffle tickets. For the record .... Reviews can earn: 0 points (approved) 1 point (good) 2 points (excellent) There are no three point Reviews. Again, I suspect you're confusing 3 raffle tickets which are given for 2 point (excellent) reviews. You can see the official guidelines at: https://www.pornusers.com/profile_points.html One of the main things that sets apart Excellent Reviews from Good Reviews is that with the excellent, "Each pro/con should be explained and be useful for fellow readers" whereas a good review often just lists the pros/cons w/out much explanation. The breakout for raffle tickets earned is: 1 Ticket per "Approved" review. 2 Tickets per "Good" review. 3 Tickets per "Excellent" review. TheSquirrel, one thing you might try is to use the "Add to Favorites" for reviewers who's reviews you especially value. Denner, each user sees a slightly different version only in so much as your ratings show for you whereas other users see their ratings. When you're looking at the entire Trust listings (like the URL's I posted above) I'm pretty sure everyone sees the same formatting with the slight exception you'll see the "edit" option by your ratings. When you go to the URL's I gave (above), are you seeing the correct remarks with the No Trust ratings? For the record ... neither of the no trust ratings mentioned here were given by you. If you need help finding users *you've* given a NO vote to, drop me a line. I show there's no immediate plans for a Review by TBP. Of course, someone who's been a member of the site may post one via PornUsers. Not sure when you signed up but I notice the Editors have that warning up now. So you know ... Adding the warning for pre-checked cross-sells is a fairly recent addition to the TBP/PU listings. As such, it will be a while before all the listings are updated. As we become aware of site using this practice or we find them while doing site updates, we'll get them added to the the listings. No, I caught that you said that but can't see a list being of more value than actually checking the listing of a site you're thinking to join. Hopefully, users here will make a habit of always checking a listing for any site they're considering paying money too. If they do, they'll not only see any warnings we can give but also any fellow PU's can offer. Based on this, they should be able to make sound decisions on what sites to join. If the site is not one they're considering joining, what do they care if it's dodgy or not? Other than curiosity? From my perspective, a compiled list would only be something extra to maintain and serve no real purpose. I think it's a smarter use of resources to spend our time maintaining the listings. You are, of course, entitled to your own opinion w/out any hard feelings from me. BTW, the point about legal threats is very valid. As it is we get threats just because TBP (pr PU's) publish unflattering Reviews. Sure, we might win any protracted legal battle but who needs those headaches? Remember, it's not like we're keeping quiet about sites with shady practices ... that info is on the listings... it's just we're not compiling a list. But we do understand we can't please all of the people all of the time. If I might ask ... What would be the real (perceived) value of a compiled list? As it is, TBP/PU provides caveats on a site's listing when we're aware of issues our users see as bad. i.e. pre-checked join boxes, limited trials, etc. If a user checks the listing (TBP & PU) before joining, they will be aware of any shortcomings that have been brought to light. Well, the short answer is ... TBP doesn't list any of the Southern Charms sites because they're all "cookie cutter" or turn-key setups. The longer answer is ... Southern Charms is an awkward situation because the site as a whole would normally be treated like an AVS or network site. However, the problem is there's no way to join the network or AVS unless you visit a specific site and join from there. Because each individual site is a cookie cutter and very generic, the individual site's do not qualify for their own listing. Since there's no way to signup for the network as a whole and as each site has different pricing, it's really difficult for us to list it in our current setup. Perhaps you've noticed, we also don't list individual AVS sites though we do list the entire AVS network where possible. Could you tell us where (specifically) you're having problems with the link? I ask because when I visit the site (click "Visit Site" from the PU listing page) I see the $17.95/mo price as well as the $4.95 trial. Generally a mailing address is required when making a purchase by credit card. It's often used as part of the CC verification process. While I have no direct experience with Twistys, I've never received a piece of snail-mail from an adult site I've signed up for.
