Sadly these issues are common very common across the US, we had a law pass by here requested by our Democratic Gov, here that already was sin today law but then gave the Governor special rights in an emergency, that already existed however the new law gave them rights to limit resources and redirect them where the governor himself feels it is needed. That mean if we have power, water or food emergencies the governor can stop deliveries and support and redirect them, it could come down to selecting whom lives and who dies if the emergency was like Sandy or Katrina.
Bottom line is people do not read and blindly walk down the path they are told. Since 2007

Signs Your Online Relationship Isn't Working Out

14) You discover that "Chesty McBust" isn't her real name, and she's dialing in from Langley, VA.

13) You: Large, hairy man. Your online girlfriend: Large, hairy man.

12) Her postmaster rejects your e-mail not as "undeliverable" but as "unlikely to get you anywhere."

11) After months of shared experiences and emotional investments, she attacks you in the Mines of Quarn with a Vorpal Sword when she learns you're worth 45,000 points.

10) "Returned mail: User unknown and never wants to hear from you again."

9) Your cyberlover is just too busy editing that silly little Top 5 List.

Getting perhaps a bit too comfortable, she lets a reference to cutting her chin shaving slip by.

7) You discover that she has been cutting and pasting her orgasms.

6) You can barely make out your SO's face in the JPEG she sent because she's obscured by her 25 cats.

5) He claims to be the richest man in the world, but his GIF looks like some geek who works for a software company.

4) Since her first e-mail, Make.Money.Fast!@cyber-promotions.com has become cold and distant.

3) She's suddenly changed her address to comingout@lesbian.com

2) Ken Starr launches an investigation into your relationship with the mysterious "tubby@whitehouse.gov"

1) In an ironic twist of fate, you discover that the object of your affection is a curvaceous 18 year old, rather than the geeky 14 year old boy she'd pretended to be. Since 2007

Police arrested Malcolm Davidson, a 27 year-old white male resident of Wilmington, NC, in a pumpkin patch at 11:38pm Friday. Davidson will be charged with lewd and lascivious behavior, public indecency, and public intoxication at the County courthouse on Monday. The suspect allegedly stated that as he was passing a pumpkin patch, he decided to stop. "You know, a pumpkin is soft and squishy inside, and there was no one around here for miles. At least I thought there wasn't," he stated in a phone interview from the County courthouse jail. Davidson went on to state that he pulled over to the side of the road, picked out pumpkin that he felt was appropriate to his purposes, cut a hole in it, and proceeded to satisfy his alleged "need". "I guess I was just really into it, you know?" he commented with evident embarrassment. In the process, Davidson apparently failed to notice the Wilmington Municipal police car approaching and was unaware of his audience until officer Brenda Taylor approached him. "It was an unusual situation, that's for sure." said officer Taylor. "I walked up to (Davidson) and he's...just working away at this pumpkin." Taylor went on to describe what happened when she approached Davidson. He just went up and said, 'Excuse me sir, but do you realize that you are screwing a pumpkin?' He got real surprised as you'd expect and then looked me straight in the face and said,

"A pumpkin? Damn... is it midnight already?" Since 2007

In the politics the problem I see and always see here in the USA is people with money can make up any facts they want pure and simple.

And many Americans do not vote even when registered, here only 60% of the registered county voters, voted. Furthermore people do not read and instead let politicians do the reading for them. Just a little research and most would have seen Obama care why not perfect was not the anti-Christ to healthcare. I downloaded the Health Care acts and read and found some areas of concern but most was ok as it would take place over 10 years. We never hear the health care act will take 10 years to complete. People hear 2013-14 it was a done deal, not so. That is one issue on one law and we are not even talking about the thousands of bonds, laws and political positions voted for that people just are lazy and do not read.
For the record if one does research, yes Obama is a legal citizen and he is not the anti-christ nor does he want to take all our guns away. I get tired of the garbage that hits the new media air waves as facts and people eat it up.

And for sake of argument I belong to no political party but would consider myself mid stream slightly conservative.
And I think Obama is a descent man, I just didn't vote for him because some laws he passed affected my own life and finances personally a few years ago by a poorly written law that past. Since 2007

They also have one of the highest reports of Hepatitis but is seldom associated with the industry as a whole ) no pun intended) And even testing does not show up often and a person can still pass it along even when a test does not show it. I wish I knew more and thought about writing my own investigation. From what I read the measure says:
Known officially as the “County of Los Angeles Safer Sex In The Adult Film Industry Act,” Measure B was designed to require producers of adult films to obtain a public health permit from the L.A. County Department of Public Health and pay a permit fee sufficient for necessary enforcement.

Furthermore, The fee will finance periodic inspections of porn filming, and violations will be subject to civil fines and criminal misdemeanor charges.

The adult film industry is planning to challenge Measure B in court, arguing it is a violation of free speech and will chase jobs and economic activity out of Los Angeles.
The Measure B, which requires actors in pornographic movies filmed locally to wear condoms when they shoot sex scenes is having some confusing with voter over the exact city or county area to be affected.

I do not live anywhere near S-Cal and am not in California wondered if any of you live there could explain what this was all about. I am also curious what people think if this was to go industry wide in some federal law. There was hint in Articles that California was looking at it as state law but wanted to see how this fared in court.

I was really surprised with the extreme liberalism of that state that this was even on any ballot. ( I was born and raised there don't live now so can say that ) .
I digress a state that legalizes pot and gay marriages infringes and says who must wear condoms ?

On a lighter note I put in my application today to be a member of the inspection team, to go and watch these scenes to make sure they comply, I know it is a dirty job but I am an American and willing to give one for team. I will spend days weeks or months if needed to get to the bottom ( pun intended ), of any Measure B violations. Since 2007

There may be an underlying problem if one has to reboot a modem.

I was reading some responses and that has me asking why?
All modems made today are flash type memory very similar to what your smart phones and flash drives have. Restarting should not accomplish anything.

What may be happening is your TCP/IP settings on your pc not your modem are refreshing cache if you reboot your pc but starting a modem only reconnects what was already connected.. The modem and router restarts are usually needed only, I stress only when IP issues, have arrived or wireless network has failed to work
and in rare instances needs a restart. I can not with in my scope of knowledge see any reason to warm boot a modem, or cold boot for that reason.

Like to hear some others input on why they are rebooting modems ?

You should see your external listed under something like "Disk 3" with the descriptor "Removable" underneath it. Then you can right click on it and select "Change Drive Letters and Paths..." and click "Add" and select an empty folder on one of your main NTFS disks to link the drive to.

You can watch a strangely narrated video showing exactly the same operations above here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kKC8U0nw7Bw

I believe that is it, I have as an example my D drive and subbed out my f drive under do but reads as a hardrive kinda cool and yes pretty easy in 7 . It is funny but the OS ends up reading the drive different and in cases like my increased speed reduced lag. Since 2007

Glad to help, was funny you asked about this as mentioned was something we talked about as in the time of conserving energy there may be more harm then good in turning off items.
I would say if a person runs a large setup of 1/2 dozen running PC etc then the savings may be worth the risk. But really is negligible compared to the risk of failure. One last note, if you are unplugging and plugging cables always a good idea to turn the unit off unless it is designed for hot swapping. Not needed always but a great safety precaution. Since 2007

Hey Micha,

Externals transfer and use default cache. I tell the PC it is installed and not external does that help ? The technical aspect may be to much to post but that's what I do, as it really helps when playing movies never a lag or anything no matter how big the file is. Sometimes big files are iffy on externals so I helped it along.

No not at all, the power use is negligible really.
Things to consider.

1.
The Modem may take 3-5 minutes to communicate with your ISP and start up once you have turned it off.

2. There are no moving parts like harddrives etc on a modem so it does not wear out from being on.

There is some theories on shutting off electronics like PC and Modems etc.

In several discussion groups I have been apart of it was found that many parts made today and oversees are used sometimes with solder that is average. And does not fair well to temperature change. Hence turning off and on, would heat and lower heat and lower possible weakening the solder.
Thinking back at the XBOX the notorious red ring of death, the issue was the soldered parts getting hot and eventually broke down the material and failed. Ever turn off your new TV and still hear it pop and crackle like the old ones ?
That is material cooling from being expanded.

I leave my PC,Router and modems running 24/7 my power supply on the PC failed when I turned it off one day to clean out the case. My guess was it was ready to go and all it needed was some temperature changes.
Electronics as a rule run anywhere from 90F to 150F ( higher on pc if not cooled ) I digress electronics are made to heat up. Most are not made to heat up cool down heat up cool down. Another way to think is allot of materials are made from metal and most metals weaken after heating and cooling over time.

I leave mine on and seldom have failure of any items. Since 2007

Anybody know why? Is it only because of the amount of TB - or is it the fabric/the USB 2.0 port - or???????

Gees Den that a tad slow, have you tried mounting the external ? So that the PC does not look at it like a peripheral

The consensus is that this state usually goes with the popular vote, however the state constitution says they are not bound by it. We had a republican Governor last presidential vote and most people voted republican but the state electoral voted democratic hence the popular vote did not matter. Luckily most states are not like this and are bound by their constitutions to vote according to popular vote. There is always talk to change it so people like myself do not think it really is not as important as other states. Since 2007

I wish the electoral vote did not exist. I happen to live in a rare state where the popular vote here could be 99% for one guy and still could go the other. We also have mail only voting and this year many people got several ballots in the mail ( extras). But I do get a say in local and state voting but the presidential citizen vote means nothing here and it sucks. Oh well ! Since 2007

I remember him starting it it was just like a Big rig has to set the key wait until the glow plugs were ready then fire up and wait another 3-10 minutes before you could drive it if it had set awhile. We took it on several trips and gas was 125 a gallon and Diesel was 75 cents lol. Since 2007

I remember the countless hours of messing around with autoexec.bat and config.sys to free up enough memory in order to play the latest and greatest games. So much so that the sense of achievement of getting the game to run was sometimes more fun than playing the game itself

Anywho, have you tried Windows 8 yet?

Nope not yet lol, and the whole fun theory may fall apart.
I have taken some looks at it, I have Win7 Ultimate 64, my views are mixed on 8 from beta looks at it.
I know all versions of windows since the beginning including the old DOS have been hacked and cracked to death.
My guess is maybe 1/3 of all WinOS have been acquired illegally. Company I worked for recently that promoted honesty and healthy life styles LOLOL also shared versions of Office and WinXP on all there machines not legit.
( all 175 machines )
I digress from what I hear MS is stepping up the prevention of copies and really making it more of their 8 plan.
Have you tried it MBF? Since 2007

I would have to disagree as there are many versions omitted that were server version not on the list. I assume you are referring to Win2000 which was a banking business mainstay until late 2000 and is why I included it, I personally used Win2000 as an OS for many year because it was so stable only problem with Win2000 I had was gaming due to how it handles the memory games did not mix.

I understand your point but if we go back to DOS it's self there are versions more stable both before and after.
I loved Dos5, and 6.0 well not so much but 6.22 was awesome in MHO. I suppose each person has their system of beliefs just like reason to vote for a particular president.

As program designer back in the day of these OS's there were many people using many OS by the masses for other then what MS intended. I am a huge fan of win2000, I just do not see it as a server OS as it was such a power house for datebases and business use. I used to think of Win2000 like
Windows 98SE Business edition it was so good.

Nice dialog though have a nice evening. Since 2007

Picassa is about the easiest and quickest collage maker. I think you can even add music to it. For something like a slideshow or collage Picassa is easy and free and near as simple as it can get. There are others out there but something simple and easy and free thats gotta be it. Since 2007

Call me ignorant but digital desire says DDG Software and DHDmedia is on the billing company of Emily Addison and the new site added says DHDMEDI*EMILYADDISON billed as.

Holly Randall does says but I did not bill with them I went through EPOCH:

I wrote the billing company and here was the answer:

Yep, definitely a review. Do you know if TBP reached the webmasters ? I still have not heard back and verifying billing has returned a black hole sorta. Since 2007

DHD Media may not be a complete scam, but the certainly aren't paying for all the security that they are advertising on their front page. Their pages are certified by a real and verified Trustwave certificate, however, Trustwave might not be the most reputable company.

I have tried to contact the site webmasters and owners and no answers yet, I ma guessing TBP may have as they added the site after I asked about it. I am slightly leery as I can not seem to get clear information on the site and the billing. Since 2007

I have a funny feeling that the wave of the future will be mini screens and tv. Imagine with voice activation, wifi and
a screen glasses one would not be bond to their pc chair, office or keyboard. I use voice activates software now at times I can open, search and play a porn title without ever touching the pc, however I still have to view a screen
somewhere .
It is funny when I use voice recognition to play porn it goes like this when I use it.

Open player, search Emily pussy, play . LOL
But thats what I have used it and works very well. I would live a good screen on my head would be pretty awesome. Since 2007
