I would say that CatalinaCruz.com was the best experiance. 1. She actually responds to the forum 2. she has live shows she directs and you can ask her stuff before she does her thing. 3. She often will answer the emails. Tech support took awhile though, butgetting a response didnt if that makes cense ? I love this site because she is the director behind the scenes. Hi everyone, Going to play the devils advocate here after all the responses ppl gave. The topic says unethical websites. Based on whoms critera though are we talking? We didnt say illegal and I doubt anyone is hinting to much that teh acts are illegal. I recently bought a car, the man came over after haggling and I got 4.9% on my SUV. So I filled out my paperwork declined all the extra like a good consumer. I get home and a month later my Credit union sends me a coutesy notice saying my account is part of the auto-pay for the SUv. I sai to myself hold off I never said that to anyone , never ever was that the deal. Awwww, but the small print on my contract says that auto-pay customers are entited to a .5% extra discount. I didnt know that either its hidden real small. Of course who gonna argue over getting more off. My thing was they haggled and made me think they got me that lower interest be dealingw hat they did was bait and switch me. BUT.... I signed the paper so therefore its legal. Unethical, car salesman ? LOL Well perhaps they can say they did what I was asking them for a great deal. In the case of websites, we agree most of the time by not seeing that small box located behind the trees. But its there though. You guys ever see the commercial to FREE CREDIT REPORT .COM? They were sued because they said on TV it was free only after signing up in the process they say the free report is based on you signing up for something else there. Now the ad say so. Butdidnt always. Again these are the legal issues, not ethical ones . If they are doing something illegal then thats different, but if they use tricky advertising not allot you can do but be careful. Largely its intent. 1. can they post they do not do business with them? Yes . Can they say because they are rip offs no. 2. Can they tell you about pre-checked cross sells? If there is fact they do so as in clones etc. But you can not say they do it to mislead. 3. If TBP had a listing of sites that have at least some specified number not yet determined of complaints posted, would that be ok? No they can not post aligations or what they think others have done. if they site in question is found guilty of a crime and sentenced you can say they did what they did because now its fact. If I say in a review I felt ripped off thats fine. If PU says its members feel ripped off by them no, thats speculation on their part and they can not guess at a fact. LAW 101 CYBERTOAD STYLE ! Hi Squirrel ;-) Dont get me wrong , I totally agree that would be nice to have a list. I spent two years in college studying law, and was involved in business law about 6 years before going into Drug counseling. WHAT MAY SEEM RIGHT IS NOT ALWAYS LEGAL IS RULE NUMBER 10 IN LAW. I can tell you with certainty its not what you call a black list its what the list of any kind does. These are companies we are talking about as sucky as they may be. In Los Angeles, there was a show called Fight Back, where the motto was ( dont let anyone rip you off) they reviewed products and said whther "they" believed they were true. They were sued and went off the air. Notice I said the word "reviewed" and they believed not proved? And as in one business entidy ? They said whether you sucked or not using others help as well. Not once did they say it was one person opinion. If you want to stand on the corner and say George Bush sucks eggs you can legally. The public has that right. You want to stand on the corner though and oh say, he's a child molester you will get sued most likely and if you stand on the corner and say, that Joes Porn site is a rip off and had bad practices and say that its the truth. You will get sued. However if in a review process like PU, you give and opinion on your own without ( PU ) giving you the idea to say bad stuff then you alone can say they suck. The same way if you call a cop and fucking ass hole your going to jail in many places, you say to him I think in my opinion your and fucking ass hole he can't touch you. See its not whether or where you say it but HOW! And making a list soley to target another sites wrong doings of any kind is a bad idea. Moreover if another company is doing it like PU setting up the use of other to bash a site is not good. I agree and if someone made a top 10 bad sites and said it was their sole opinion then great. But if you are making a list for other to bash that site woow, id be careful. Take a look at the court systems ppl being sued for far less then you propose. Hmm a black list is a dangerous place to place ourselves in. Legally if you are saying a site no matter how true you feel it is is bad and ripping ppl off you have to be careful how you do it. In a forum we can say it sucks, but if PU puts a you suck list now they are opening them selves up for law suites depending on how its listed. Dont get me wrong would be nice, but PU is a business not a private list therefore you run the risk of affending others they may want to do business with or scare off potentials that want no part of a bashing list. Ok One of two things I am trying: using plugin icolorfolder, plus the bonus pack I am only trying this is xp It allows looks like 25 possiblitys of folder colors and shapes. Leaving various subfolder wtc. That will keep the files in order. the next is to use Picass3 and have it only look for my videos in those areas and folders it allows you to see names as well. I am not sure if I can do it quick, but depends on how fast and how well it works. I never founds and automation but this may sort well. I am looking at xplorer2 lite to see if I may use it too it has a great preview ,movie area as well as a great sorting system in its own right and a awsome search engine. I will be intouch as I look to make it east to do. PS love to get a look at that program if possble, I write code as well and hmm perhaps could suggest some idea. I use XP and I think I may have found a color code easy Idea. There is a plugin for windows explorer I am looking at I will let you know how it pans out but allows a color code system within the words looks cool oh yea its free and uses the preexisting software . My honest response is . I have used other resources as I am and old school software designer by trade back in the day of C++. I could easily do as is sugested, infact I think maybe a few videos linger from days past where I tried that idea. Hi Pink, I think you make great sense I agree. But I am also guessing thats TBP is trying to stay nuetral on there reviews as possible. Unlike you and I they do not take as much a personal view as much as we do because there is business at stake. To make the point lets say I make Plasma Tv's and I supply Sears and Walmart, obviously Walmart would be cheaper in selling my TV, but I would never place advertising in saying so my thoughts on them should be of a nuetral point of view. This is not to say they do not take the reviews personal its to say they tend to stay clear from personal thoughts on a site too much in the review process. I have seen it though but its rare. Thats why our reviews are so important as it gives a biased based soly on one review at a at time. I am sure TBP, has rated a site to find we all are far away from their review. But thats because we are as you say in other words putting our money on the review process. I think the marrage between the two, being memebers and TBP is awsome. And having and open forum blows me away because they allow thoughts and questions. It took me awhile to be a member to wonder why $$ wasnt a part of the review process. But I get it now I think. Nuetrality is TBP to sucess. Cant affend member or site owners if you are nuetral. Since 2007 | |

Looking at the replies, I am still wondering if others look at price. Messmer said by the faithful to its niche and I agree. But what if they jacked the price up? I am not content to leave out pricing enterely. However it is not part of my scoring just the review. But heres my rating system ( I actually have one lol ) ************************************************* CYBERTOADS'S SIX TO SEXXY REVIEWS LIST 1. Ease of Site. Give me a great site I can't get to stuff and it pisses me off. Rate:= 15% 2. Make sure its true to what it advertises, they say things like the best HD , the biggest, and then its not what it says, or is misleading. Rate = 20% 3. No Male Talking / Directors. Damn it I hate these fuckers talking all the damn time. When will they get it? Its our fantasy not yours morons. Until your are watching for voyerism, and we are paying for it shut up. ( mostly because most sites never clue us in until too late ) Rating = 18% 4. Fast site and downloads I give this a low percentage because I can get around slow with a download manager. Rate= 5% 5. Pretty Model, Nice Voice, sexy additude. This is at the biggest part of my reviews. Do they give me what I need bottom line. All the above can be perfect but if they do not feed the need. then nothing is worth it. Rate = 40 6. Does the site update often ? or at all. For me this is a really a do not care kina thing. If they do not update I will cancel after a month its that simple. I do not rate this hardl at all as it will be my own choice and stupidity to pay for longer if getting nothing. But is crucial for other to know when joining if they update. Rate = 2% I have a check off chart I use to give accurate reviews. and this percentage rating system, the review part is a 3 part area with check off i made to fit the review. Just had to poke my two cents i here :-) I actually do not think abby winter was all that great :-) My point being , that being fair to one site may not be fair to another. I take only my own point of view in consideration when placing a review. I have taken great inputs on how to go about a review. Well to share a tad , I am one of these guys that doesnt like pretty I like workable power. I was one whom loved windows2000 ( not the ME version but the workhorse.) I still have the os and license but it doesnt play games well. I love unix, linux and linspire. I was born and raised on Dos, writting progs by the time I was 17. And used BBS's I actually was part of a team whom first created a multi-email system that would check mutible types of msn, yahoo etc all at once in one prog. So when I got the windows vista mendia edition premium I thought wow. Well I got all the drivers I needed to make this one a media edition on its own rights. I am happy and proud to say. I wont use Vista again, perhaps the next gen. The bottom line i guess is i like power in my pc. Logically I should be using a powermac, but my hertitage is build solid in pc's for now but who knows what the future may bring. Since 2007 | |
