Remember we had a thread or two about that 10.000 in late 2009 when we where a little over 9.000 - would we reach 10.000 PUs in 2010? - and we did - as early as June... So, yes - it's pretty good. Did I miss something? A celebration!!! We are now a bit over 10.000 registered users here (today: 10.036) When did we pass that 10.000? (not long ago, I'm sure). Have I been 'out off office' and not noticed some hurrays..?? But ok, it's summer time/vacation time, so... The internet is a VAST blast of freedom, including piracy - and how could "they" ever pursue the enormous amount of porn ripped off from just about anywhere and placed on the "net".??? The main question is, though: Who will go through that awesome trouble to rip off good material - and risk virus, low quality and end up mostly with a bad result - you can use rapidshare, hotfile, sharingmatrix and what not - guess it's not the way for many PUs - but Bottomline - those few dollars spend on the real (pay) thing is generally well spend... BTW, pornwatcher mentions VideoBox and VideosZ - it's all licensed material, as I know it... And take a look at most of the material at those two sites: material that can be bought on sale for a dollar for a DVD down at the corner shop. BUT, but, but: The ongoing development of the net can soon give serious changes for us PUs and especially the pay sites - the freedom, like some would call it - and others: the rip off will grow and no law can stop it - unless we're in North Korea or (maybe) China. And the way to rip off porn from pay sites will definitely become much more common - AND that again could result in much less GOOD Porn - because those producers got to make some kind of money - but maybe a lot less than today - only time will show..... Also a very fine Sergio Leone movie that should be at Top 10. Eli Wallachs performance as Tuco is outstanding - Clint's ditto is not THAT good in this movie (sorry, just my opinion) - that why my favorite Sergio Leone with CE is "For A Few Dollars More" where this Italian actor Gian Maria Volonte as El Indio is just great. Anybody else (oh, yeah, I remember that exotics is in for it): Still: been browsing that old british, german, french, italian and of course US vintage porn a lot lately - and to find that good old material from say 1970th and forward, it's hard to find ok paysites. And since all that freestuff you can find via Rapidshare/hotfiles/depositfiles ect. is off limits here, I'll not go into that. I remember that - again - exotics stated most of that was in bad quality - and he's right. BUT - again: I have not found any real good paysites - where the material is not just copies of old VHS-tapes or in low videos/photo quality in general (ok, I do not expect top quality from that time) - and material with that old Euro-porn ect. Just an update: If you do not want to pay $ 29.95 for winrar (or have to get along without paying and a little more work - AND, BTW: this winrar homesite also got that currency shit, so for Europeans it's: Euro 29.95) Normally paying for shareware is the decent thing to do, but this currency deal - again, again and again - nada, this time. So: - I've just downloaded a great rar-freeware: Rarzilla Free Unrar. I remember - as Khan states - this question has been up before. Still, It's very OK to keep this alive: Generally: there seems to be too many reviews of sites from the same network - reviews made by the same PU/PUs - I did it myself a couple of times in the earlier days, but think I learned from it.  But - again - generally: If you make a reviews of a site part of a network, it may come in handy if you in this review put in the so called bonus-sites, too. Just another thought as summer has hit Northern Europe with sunshine and warm weather and all those pretty girls/women out there with a better view of this and that due to less clothing ect.: And that does something for the libido! Interesting thread - with a lot of estimates and guessing...but it has to be that way - here. I wonder: is there still a vast difference between the income of US and European models (girls/women)? Ok, I've maybe been a little harsh/tough on purduerachel - still do not know....... But it's not the first time, I've experienced requests like this (else where) - and even if it's legit with the Purdue University of West Lafayette, Indiana and all - I'm still suspicious of the bottom line here - and above all: could this be some way to use this PU to publicize details about 'the porn pervs on the net' - with a political/religious right wing purpose. Maybe I'm paranoid - and again I do not need to be here in Europe and say: I could not care less...........still? First I totally agree with Goldfish - It's annoying - and like Capn states: frustrating - and I believe all here think it's generally a mess... Man, I spend hours - sometimes - tracking down all those models with often 6-10 alias'.... The best help is still (I think): http://www.eurobabeindex.com/sbandomain.html - but even that index does not have complete track of all models or names....and it's - YES: FRUSTRATING/A MESS - when you browse different sites (previews, too) and look for that - or a couple - of special favorite models - and BTW: with MetArt it's a jungle! Both Wittyguy and exotics (and others) have some fine suggestions/inputs about the problem - but I seriously doubt we'll ever get the whole story - or just better help for us PUs.... BTW: Even (or typical) a pretty good network (for easteuro hc and solo) like Teen Mega World has problems with different names for the same model - not only at the many different sites, but also at the same 'almost motherload-site': Teen Sex Movs where you can locate the same models with more than one name.... First try www.filehippo.com A fine place for software - and most free. They recommend Orbit Downloader - and it's free. Got a Saturday afternoon off and the house to myself and the dogs - so I'll try some inputs/replies to Wittyguys first part of the thread (an extremely interesting thread, btw): 1) Of course we paying users are a bit more critical (yes, TBP does not - I guess - pay for access - but earn from it, no problem - that's the deal - I think). And THAT may turn out to be the main reason for a bit lower scores at PU. 2) A VERY good point - I think that PUs should be generally more subjective in reviews - and therefore in scores. I do not see how you can be objective about a site you like or dislike. 3) Another about subjective - and btw, agree about asmith and the way the reviews are made prsonal - the form and style with the ++++ could be discussed - but maybe an idea for future reviews??? 4) That's the hard one. Who makes "THE BIG MONEY" on all those reviews - compared to those weekly drawings - NOT PUs anyway. BUT that's maybe the deal here - TBP makes a PU and that front-up makes everybody happy - guess they (TBP) put a lot a hours in this - I'm not a business man and have no idea of the outcome from all those sites. Still all we PUs are in this mainly for one reason: getting good porn with warnings and recommendations... AND yes, Wittyguy, your're right: from no other place are reviews from PU quoted as much.. But: Bottom Line: My personal view is that I'd never had found or avoided so many sites has it not been for TBP and especially PU - did and do some search at Porninspector, Rabbits and alike - but they are of much less use.... Second Bottom Line: It's really not my business what kind of money TBP makes....except for one detail: That their score are not depending of the amount of money they make from different sites...AND I believe that it's NOT - or I would not have so high opinion of Khan, Rick and the others here.. 5) Maybe an even better one, I think: Oh, yes we go back! To the sites we know - why? To look for material that's similar to the material we liked months or half a year or even years ago - But there's a reason for that, too: Not to be conservative, but we knew what we got at that/those sites - and a lot a newer sites are not giving us what we seek for - generally too many new sites seems to be "discount" ONLY hunting your money and giving less.. So another final Bottom Line: Would not want to be without all those PU-reviews - which for most parts are a fine help in the ever lasting porn hunt....and no matter the scores: the words, the subjective inputs, the read between the lines ect... that's what makes this PU so much better than any - close to/or not - similar sites.. We've just had the celebration of liberty from the german/nazi occupation 5th of May here in little ol' Denmark. Ok, this is kind of a repeat, but still valid at this thread, I think: Lela Star WAS a doll - but her tattoos covering her entire back - it's a turn off. Tattoos in general are just getting too much - and a sad trend for a lot of US-models - and now some easteuro-models seems to think: Well, if that's the new trend, I better go with it... Very interesting/fine thread - and as simple as it is - the answers and suggestions are not "standing in line"... Why not? Maybe too many of the Top 20, or even Top 50 (at TBP) sites have one and the same problem: re mastering of older material. I'll second Fucked Hard 18 as one of the better alternatives - and I think Twistys is doing a good job in keeping up - the same goes for Nubiles, that lately seems to have a fine comeback in models - But in general "the picking was a lot easier" some years ago...if you can agree: Why?....... A damn good question, though I'm not TOTALLY sure what you mean with 'plastic glam porn'? - and again I think I got a pretty good idea, still. Ok - Vivid is OUT for this user and so is bangbros, Reality Kings and alike. With 'plastic glam' I can agree with the idea, that these site are just 'too much' - I could easily join a club here which kind of bans these site from this users sphere - well, it's already done - hate those sites with the stupid audio deals, that we all know about. The open borders has in practice always (for centuries, at least) been there - ok, at one time you could 'risk' to be stopped to show a passport - but the crossings were always very easy. The main thing is that a lot of the scenery in Germany (the large country you have to drive through to get from north to south of France) is the boring deal - autobahns - the (although) great system of free highways that this once Hitler started to make. And up until now most of the autobahns had no speed limits, wow. But it's more restricted now - still you have long stretches of autobahn where you can go as fast as your car can manage, pretty wild... BUT - again the south of Germany, Austria, Switzerland and parts of France has damn high mountains and a great drive-scenery - It's just (or especially) for us Scandinavians the loooooong drive (maybe 700 US miles) before you get to that scenery. And just a recommendation for US-citizens thinking about Europe: Go to the French region of Provence (not Nice and Cannes-area, tourist traps and russian mafia) but the Vaucluse and the Luberon Mountains (Try Google it) - that's the beauty of France - and the food!! http://www.theluberon.com/ "I don't drink anymore - I freeze it, and eat it like a popcicle" Edited on Apr 24, 2010, 06:13am | |

Definitely got to get my hands of some of that Derek Trucks material - the preview audios sound just amazing - Man, you're lucky to be that close to the live deals of this kind of music - Allman Bros. was here in Scandinavia years ago and probably won't be back? But ok, I've (we) traveled to the US to (also) see/hear great music - and we'll do again - the net is a blessing about tour-dates ect. - thanks for the info/updates! Funny you should say that, Drooler - but oh, yes driving can be a bore. But it certainly depends on WHERE! And the USA is my absolute favorite - it's all in the scenery. The wife and I drives maybe a couple of thousand miles almost each year through Europe going from north to south of France or Spain - and it's tiresome in many ways - the drive (but not when you get there).. NEVER experienced that 'tiresome' when driving across the USA or up and down ect - plus parts of beautiful Canada. The view, the scenery going through Monument Valley, deep south in Arizona and hitting a motel in the town of Tombstone, Death Valley, around Mount Shasta, along the Mississippi (in more states), along the Rio Grande in Texas (and getting to the weird town of Presidio), the bended backroads of West Virginia and even along the Gulf Coast of Florida, The Keys ect. ect. Well, like Khan stated once - it's NOT the billing companies, BUT the sites, that go for this. SO, I think it's rather logical: if some sites deny to be more global about the pricing, it's fair to let that come out in the scores.. First I'd like to thank fellow PUs for some VERY nice and friendly reactions to this so called PUerview, which Khan asked me to do. BUT Khan also stated something like it should last like 24 hours - so: Enough about this user. It was fun, but I was at first reluctant - doing this kind of stuff can be 'too close to home' - in the way of not staying total anonymous, which I guess most here want? USA has something like 310 million people, UK some 70 and Germany close to 90 - my small country has 5,5 - so it's easier to 'get close' to identify you. But like I said it was fun - and I think all PUs should have at go at this, for two reasons: 1) We're a kind of a community here - all with the same goal: fine porn - and even if we have different interests in that porn deal, it's great to give and receive info/warnings/recommendations ect. 2) I did this because I think it's a "kind of a duty" here - do not laugh. But it's good to know more about one another (not too personal stuff), but just a little about the person behind those reviews, replies, comments ect. - AND what they stand for. Thanks, PP BTW I just mentioned MISSISSIPPI, too - but that state is great and special for a visitor - not many Scandinavians go there for holiday.. Been driving through MS three times - and some of the best is going down 61 starting in Memphis - the old blues highway and the cottonfields. Tunica, that Tony Joe White sings about, through Clarksdale down to Vicksburg. In Vicksburg the wife and I got to see/hear David Allan Coe at this honky tonk - like place called Duffs Tavern and Grill - got all his cds, but the only time I saw him live.. - he is some special character - but I like his earlier songs (1973- about 1985)... Never saw the guys live  It must have been just great!! Have to stick with that damn fine concert-DVD 'Live at The Beacon Theatre' - and the cds, of course, BTW: Did not know about the Derek Trucks Band - are they doing cds (and gigs) when not playing with 'The Brothers band'? BTW: Funny to think that Warren Haynes once played with the David Allan Coe band - Man, WH has sure grown up in the world and found his right place since then....
