It's ANOTHER: SOME! During the years the experience of most PUs have been, that webmasters of certain sites are very much aware what's going on here.. And there are - bottom line - two kinds: 1) Those that follow the reviews/inputs/threads here at PU and LISTEN to what the paying user has to say - AND are helpful, too - if problems - like webmasters at Twistys, Nubiles, MetArt, Teendreams and EroBerlin, just to mention some... 2) Webmasters who certainly follow our inputs, but only act when PUs have criticism - but give no or little help... We've had these problems before - problems of name calling and disrespectful inputs toward fellow PUs - obviously at a place like this some people with a bad karma and aggressions come and go... But to all you ol' and new 'scumbags' (I liked that, GCode) - the decent folks STAY ON....hopefully because those people as mentioned above find that they got no fun here in the long run.... Have to agree with the essence of this input from TheSquirrel. And again I think it's got a bit to do with 'veterans' and newer PUs - or maybe more accurate 'newbies' joining paysites. 'Veterans' here are generally a bit more aware of the market - whereas - like I remember in my 'porn-schooldays' - you might get a little overwhelmed at the start - that could be the reaon why we see so high scores from some newer PUs. On the other hand - I think we got a lot of new PUs here who is quite capable of seeing and judging those shitty sites - we've got some low scores here, too! Not sure how to change the system in reviews - and even not sure if it's necessary. I still like that review-link at PU - but any suggestion of making it even better is welcome... Another way to be nice - no problems... TBP makes a hell of a lot of reviews - each week - and they're all subjective? I believe so. By 'subjective' I mean honest (you can not make 'objective' criticism) - and with no regards to site-owners 'pressure' on TBP. Like quite a lot of different scores made by PUs there's got to be some differences in what PUs and what the staff at TBP end up with - no big deal. The deal here is - however - the possibility of having a dialog between PUs - and between PUs and TBP-staff about these reviews. I've always 'loved' Maggies reviews, for instance - but had some disputes about scores - and that's the way it ought to be... So if possible: An even closer dialog between members of the TBP staff and the PUs regarding - maybe only - more special/totally new, major site reviews could improve thing (not all reviews - it would be out of hand). "The Times They Are A-Changin' ..." Apparently also at PU - a lot of nonsense about "elitist". Thanks to Drooler for this input (and want to add Cybertoads input, too). And what is the deal with this claimed changing of user name regarding "ControlllingMind" As Drooler has a lot better knowledge of the English language, than this user - I do not have much to add, except this: There has been some - in my view - crazy inputs where RB has been under attack in a quite devious way...AND is this is the NEW style (among others) here at PU, this user do not have great expectations for the future here... Hope this situation will pass.....I've had some fine years here - and would like to stay on... AND BTW: It's ok that Wittyguy makes his own "Unwritten Rules of PornUsers" - but man, if all 9600 PUs made the same..........?? So let's just regard it as fun.... My first recommendation is to go for this compact VW Golf: http://www.vw.com/golf/en/us/ - and a 4-doors for less than 20.000 - you'll get top-quality and a damn safe/reliable car...even if it's at that size. or maybe this Kia Rondo: http://www.kia.com/#/rondo/explore/360-v...and-colors-exterior/ for the same - almost - price. Mbaya: your question is pretty hard to answer (also from this user as a longtime, former automotive journalist - in Europe - which can be much different from the deals/products in the US). First: What are your and your familys needs in SIZE - even if you just want a basic transportation... AND how much money are you prepared to spend? Hybrid - forget it - it's almost outdated. Decent on gas! The American cars are out here too! So are the Japanese and most Korean, too - because of older engine technology. Still you can get better gas-economy from some korean cars like Hyundai and Kia, than the japanese cars. Try take a look at the Kia Rondo (part of the Hyundai coorporation) - a car that has been compared to the VW Golf in Europe - compared in quality and mileage. It's called Kia Ceed here in Europe - and a damn fine alternative to the more expensive models... Still: I do not know if you can get the german Volkswagen-models, wich also include the spanish SEAT and the czech Skoda (all from Volkswagen)in the States. One thing these car got in common is a great new engine - a 1,4 liters TSFI (gasoline - do NOT choose diesel if your needs are shorter drives during the day) - which has fine power and does like 23 km/l - which in US terms means something like 55-60 miles on a gallon... This ONLY 1,4 liter engine is the latest in 'normal' gasoline engine technology - but still has power and a damn fine economy. Cannot believe I say this - but I'm back at VideoBox again and apart from the miserable search-machine, they really have made improvements regarding a lot of new studios - and ahem, no limits for a user who goes for 4 Gb daily... But just a warning: VideoBox has MORE and MORE videos from Evil Angel and Vivid - and if you fall for some of those videos, it can get expensive...! Now we're at it - AGAIN: 'Regional pricing' (see the latest comments from a new user - SUKUMVIT - about Nubiles). Most sites still use CCBill - PRIMARILY - and CCBill+the site-owners have less understanding that europeans, asians ect. are fed up with higher prices in Euro and other currencies... In 80-90 % of the sites I try to join via TBP and CCBill at the higher euro-price, I find that, it's possible to locate those sites at Epoch - even if it's not possible direct via TBP/the site in question. You can go SHOP at Epoch and find MOST sites simply by SHOP/ADULT search AND get the same price as US-citizens. SO: What about a link for these good offers at TBP to Epoch? - even if you cannot join directly via the site... You're right there, lk - a lot or even most danish and dutch people speaks english - on different levels - funny, btw, that you should mention the dutch - a people where most danes have the best relations to. As you live in California, the climate here is somewhat different - but you will know that from your visits - still the best time here is spring and of course summer...now we even have a LOT of cruiseships comming to Copenhagen... Can't pinpoint when - but here at 'Threads', as far as I remember it - wakely - about some users doing a lot of reviews in record time - and THAT question about bonussites at networks - or something - but honestly: This user got no problems at all. AND just got to second Droolers: 'So fucking what?' Some networks now has so many sites/bonus sites when joining one in particular, that those many sites can be a mess to put down in a single network review. That's one reason, too - that this user praised mbayas review of Grandpas Fuck Teens from 21 Sextury (AND made a request for Cuties Galore, also at 21 Sextury). (Both 'loyalty sites'). Apart from helpful - mbayas review here is a fine example why a closer look a different sites at networks is useful to us all... Maybe some here got a better memory than mine - and can remember that or those inputs - and where they are... Yes, messmer - me to - jumped up and down from the couch - it was wild! (and that crazy goal 3-2 by Crosby, wauw!!) Been staying up for nights - because of time-difference most game here was on middle of the night/early mornings - but do not mind missing my sleep when hockey like this is on... At first our so called experts at national TV in Denmark said: Oh, do not think the canadians can handle the russians - bullocks - that 7-3 game was maybe even more entertaining - I went crazy and shouted around the house, so much, that my wife got out of bed to see what was happening...man, I loved that game. And want to see rerun after rerun... After that victory our media said about the final: 'This is going to be close' - first right thing they said about the OL-hockey. BUT I always turn to swedish TV when watching hockey - they are MUCH more professional - and they said, too: 'It's going to be close, but Canada will win this final' And oh, yes: Great Congrats to Canada - the best team...still US put up a hell of a fight and great hockey - we'll really look out for that Patrick Kane...man, can he play the game! (bully or not....) Raise hell in Canada and USA - and get the NHL to put up players for the next WM! - and, of course for the next OL in Russia. Apart from a lot of speculations, the final was still one of the best hockey-games, I've seen for years.... Two top-pro teams in a match that made us all forget everything else - it was a pleasure. Maybe this thread could hit a lot of PUs, I hope - customer support is still becoming a major deal for many PUs when joining new AND older, well known sites. And some sites seem to give a damn about their paying customers - whereas others really do put in work keeping the paying user 'happy'. I'd rate customer support high, since new problems keep turning up and some sites make changes. What's your experience with different sites and the help you get, if necessary? Got to agree with Drooler (no surprise, eh...?) But this to ad: Look back at porn-history - a history where US-porn once was overwhelming and a few European producers tried to make up. In my history-book (porn, that is) - the US-users where so very hooked on bj (I think it was illegal at a time in the US - generally, but not sure) And blow jobs have been at the top for many years in porn - then it went to anal - and in a short time the growing Euro-productions took it up, just like facials, btw.. So some of the top-euro sites here are still doing more and more anal - AND facials.. Exampel: There are at 21 st. Do really not want to make a further item out of this. The deal with this site/webmaster ect. has been interesting - a bit fun, too - but I'll just as soon forget about it and get on to PORN. Drooler has been a great friend for years here - AND a fine supporter about inputs, reviews ect. that also had been based on long hours with the danish-english dictionary. Apart from the many fine discussions and exchange of views on a lot of sites - Ze Droolah has kind of helped this PU-site to be international - and not only for folks with english as first language. And - not to forget - Khan and others at TBP have also been fine supporters when langauge problems appeared now and then - thanks! Still I do not regret those inputs, at all - there where no 'dirty' (faul?) language or namecalling - a little irony AND maybe some sarcasm, which comes out sometimes in input and reply talking to Drooler - and if those are out of order/place, I think Khan will interfere.. On the other hand I've received personal mails from this webmaster with an almost abusive character where I'm asked if I'm 'out of my mind' - because I dare to criticize parts of his site. Apart from the words he use - I'd think it would be appropriate to put his comment as a reply here at PU - and NOT in a personal mail. Finally I think a site like TBP/PU would always benefit from that....yes, international character. I've seen some germans, spanish, swedish and even a couple of danes come and go here - maybe, just maybe some of them gave up because of language-problems. I won't. I enjoy porn and using TBP/PU - and would never had found so much good porn out there without TBP/PU....AND of course avoided some sites and saved money thanks to reviews and warnings from fellow PUs. Yes, I used my PU-name and some numbers for log in - do that quite often (it's easy to remember) - and change the numbers...never thought that could create a problem - and better change that in the future.. Just called Epoch international: No problems - it took less than two minutes talk - and they'll refund the money within five business days.... BTW: Thanks for a lot of support here! This is totally crazy: Made some critical comments about: Thai Girls Wild Now the webmaster have blocked my access, though I signed up three days ago and payed $ 29.95 for a month. I wrote him AND Epoch (nothing from Epoch yet), but got this from the webmaster/owner: 'Why do you have it out for my company? What have I done to you personally that you find the passion to sabotage my business? I am completely hands on with my business. I recruit, shoot and edit all the content on my sites myself. So unwarranted negative reviews/comments or outdated information I feel take away from my business.' My answer to this webmaster: 'Absolutely confused... I am paying a costumer (and a member of TBP/PU) - been at your others sites several times (and gave them good scores compared to others at PU) - and signed up at/payed for Thai Girls Wild. When I/we see something strange - like those watermarks at Thai Girls Wild - I/we make comments at PU - that's not what I'd consider 'sabotage'. Other sites - a lot - have negative comments or reviews at TBP/PU.. Still it does not justify that my payed for access is blocked.... BTW: I have nothing to do with the 'special notice' at TBP' Does this mean that WE - PUs - in the future can risk this again - because we give our opinion in the name of freedom of speech - and that they can take away our money, because we're critical??? Just an update about 'the struggle' - for anyone who cares and/or might consider joining/joining again: The last 12-18 hours the downloadspeed has been at 140-180 kb/sec - USING downloadmanager - without, it was close to useless. Updates which are dated 3-4 days back are not effective! And this very strange thing which I think is sloppy in the renewal of the site - VIDEOS: (At least) at Pixandvideo and ClubSandy there are quite a lot of videos dated 2008 and 2007 - most I've seen before, naturally. But now MOST videos from 2008 only have 'medium quality' clips - but the 2007 have the 'high quality' ditto... I cannot see the logic: that videos from 2008 should have worse quality (and offered in lower quality) than videos from 2007. It's got to be some mistake in their site-renewal... And that 'medium quality' videos for 2008 are just terrible in viewing quality - found 6-8 scenes downloaded some time ago (half a year or so) before the change, anyway - AND they are a LOT better than what's offered today - the same scenes - weird... Apart from the annoying, unsteady download speed (which have been really bad the last half a day with periods of no connection) - and the layout/navigation, which you might get used to, then this: Some thumbnails are not there or do not work, but worse: some of the material that should be with the working thumbnails are not there. For one: At Lusty Busty Chix there is or supposed to be photos and video of Sammie Rhodes - updated three days ago - but nothing.. Wanted to do some rebuild of older collection and went to Dana V. Two of scenes that should be behind the thumbnail where just not there either.. When browsing Models there's this arrow to go to more scenes - quite a few places it does not work - ok, you can go to Browse all scenes - but anyway... The main objection is still the fewer updates at the old motherload, PixandVideo - and those other sites with most updates are the ones with the later Loyalty access. Thanks, moonbyrd - the correct english word here is 'user interface' - and the old - and a bit conservative style - needed updating. But to go out with this for a former great/top site is what I'd call unfinished.. Sure there's still fine content, agree...but this is not a user friendly site at the moment, alas.. I always do downloads manually before using DLM - it tells a lot - before there where no problems getting 650-700 without DLM. But ok, when I now turn to DLM - I still get that speed, though it's NOT steady (sometimes about 400 kb with DLM) And allround: Is this the DDF-effect? Just joined again - the 'new' 21st Sextury network. What a mess! The navigation is horrible - a lot do not work - the layout is just as bad - got to guess - still - which sites you got access to. Been 'fighting' here for half a day - and hate it (see comment). This is one of the top-sites/network for a lot of PUs - and it has become a nightmare. The guy/guys who made this new site layout/design/search ect. - man, fire them! A lot of point-at-thumbs do not work - updates is just as bad to locate (exotics told me about an update with Eve and Sophie Moone - at Sophies site - but when you go there: no updates since 2008 - BTW most site have not updated for a long time) Downloaded a 900 mb video - this time without DML - it took an hour - average 130 kb/sec. Even if the price via TBP is now $19.95 - I'm pissed - and going to cancel - anybody else at the site right now - for this user it's like a bad trip... They even place wrong photos/thumbs now of different models at their models-page - for one look at Natalia Forrest...ealier they had control of that...
