Me? I'm a simple man in a simple town, so all I'm going to do is spread more joy. I'm going to fart in elevators more often. Life is really about small pleasures folks.

I'm gald to hear that this is resolved. I always worry when joining a site that cancelling will be a nightmare. I took a trial membership to a solo girl site recently and didn't see the warning on the TPB review that there was a pre-checked cross-sell. It was well hidden on the sign-up page because I didn't see it there either. I cancelled the trial fairly easily but the cross-sell was billed through a different biller and there was no obvious way to cancel it.

It seems that there are tons of money to be made legitimately through online porn, so the scum who decide to make some using questionable tactics really piss me off.

Last night I was telling a friend that I bought my wife one of those single-cup automatic coffee makers. I explained that I bought her the Tassimo brand because it reads the bar code and probably does nothing with that information... but she'll be impressed. I contrasted that with the other major manufacturer, which I said was Karup. My friend, who knows I have a porn habit, looked at me funny. After calling the brand Karup several times I realized and admitted that the brand was actually Keurig, and that Karup was a porn site. Doh!

The worst that happened though was when I went into a bookstore looking for a specific title. The middle-aged lady took me to where it was located and handed me the softcover version. I asked her if she had it in hardcore. I don't know who turned more red.

Anyone else have these issues?

Thanks for the information on this. I still think that the photo above the access for 'consumers' should more accurately reflect their customer base and be a photo of a pervert like one of us.

Am I right in assuming that a huge majority of business for companies like CCBill and Epoch is porn driven? I buy a lot of stuff over the internet and have never seen anyone other than a porn site use a billing company.

The reason I was thinking about this is that I was just on CCBill to cancel a membership and the portal that linked into information for consumers had a picture of an attractive lass in jeans and a plaid sweater vest. Unless I'm waaaaay off the mark on what the average porn customer looks like, then these billing services must do some legitimate business too.

So what other uses are there for internet billing companies? Or should I just randomly approach late-20s women in jeans and sweater vests and ask if they too think that Videobox isn't posting enough anal videos?

Wow. This is typical soccer-mom/safety-mom stuff. With an (un)healthy dose of Jesus too.

I suspect that a lot of the motivation behind this is a desire for old-time justice. You get AIDS by being a bad (i.e. sexually active) person. The same argument has been used for generations about pregnancy out of wedlock.

I'm a bit tipsy (i.e. shitfaced...) right now, but you Americans who are reading this need to realize that you are in danger of becoming overrun and run by these religious nuts. Canada is just slightly better, but the nuts here get all moist at every victory in the U.S.

Not that this is a good example, but on the CBC website they had a story about a guy who took money from people to plow their driveways and then he didn't show up. Several commenters to the story suggested that Canada's lack of death penalty for failure to perform according to a contract was the problem. I commented on the website that I was concerned with the call for the death penalty for a minor offence. I concluded by suggesting that "right-wing Jesus-lovers" (that was my exact term) were probably wanking at the thought of hanging this guy.

My comments weren't permitted, but later a guy a who used both the words "piss" and "shit" combined with a sense of violence were posted.

Like I said, I'm a bit tipsy, but that bugged me. I think the same motivation is at work here.

I think Frank Zappa gave us words to work by: "BEWARE THE FISH PEOPLE. THEY ARE THE REAL ENEMY." They are Frank. They are.

Adopt a hungry lion today.

As a big anal fan, this is one word that I don't like to hear a model say when in a scene. In that context does the word mean "Oh this is some amazing sex..." or does it mean "Uh oh... we seem to have a problem here..."

I appreciate all the advice, gents. This is really useful. It is frustrating though that it actually appears that the first month site access might actually be random. Very strange.

Thanks for the info Pat. Those sites are heavily promoted so are they some 'premium' content that you have to have a different membership to?

I really appreciate all the advice I'm getting but I do have to admit that I'm a bit pissed off at actually having to ask for help in joining a porn site! You'd think that someone at 21Sextury would have figured out that joining a porn site shouldn't be as complex as launching the space shuttle.

Thanks for the very thorough information Drooler. I searched the site for close to an hour and found nothing that indicated how the membership was structured. I've emailed them and wonder if they'll bother responding.

One other quick question. What happens if someone were to join through one of the sites that only becomes available on the second month (assuning that you can do that)? Is the customer then told that he can't actually access that site for another month? That's my worry.

From my experience it can be a bit of a crapshoot as far as the sites you gain access to. I think the key is to just join the main site that you access to directly you still get access to the network but may just have to wait for the one or two other sites you want.

Me personally I joined for nudefightclub and ended up gaining access to the other sites I wanted anyway (mainly footsiebabes).

Good luck on your decision.

Thanks for the information. I'm still not sure what to do though.

I haven't had an active porn membership for over a week now, and that's a record for me. The problem is that I can't find anything that I want to join. I've been looking at 21Sextury but I'm not willing to take the plunge just yet because of some unanswered questions. Do any of you have any advice on these?

1) has the pricing model changed yet or has the site said when the pricing model will change? The current (or former) pricing model requires a three month stay to get access to all the sites, but there is talk that they will have some new packages available in November.

2) If the three-tiered pricing model is still in effect, does anyone know which 25 sites you get access to in the first month? What is added in month 2 and then in month 3? I can't find that information anywhere and I'd be pissed to find that I was required to wait two months to get access to the one or two sites that I really want.

Most reviewers seem to like this network, but it seems really odd to me that they don't simply charge more and give full access.

If this thread is going to turn into a lament for the late, great American Vice site, then count me in. American Vice was an excellent site that deserved to out-sell Videobox.

That's been my position for a while too, but I recently heard an interview with someone who said that the U.S. remains the largest manufacturing country in the world and still has among the most productive workforce. This guy's position was that the items manufactured in the U.S. are no longer the obvious things like steel. Industry has sent prodcution of that 'dirty' low-profit stuff to less developed countries and the U.S. now makes high-tech stuff like aerospace items and technologies that get used in some of the items being made overseas. From what I understood, and this part might be wrong, the interviewee even said that there are still a lot of people employed in this manufacturing. Maybe it is less noticable because these new manufacturing workers look more like Bill Gates than Archie Bunker.

BaDoink (a site I'd never heard of) was the subject of a "What's Hot" review at The Best Porn. The review answers a lot of questions, but I'm wondering if anyone at PU has any experience with the site. Are there a lot of unique DVDs or is the same stuff available at Videobox? Is the proprietary software user friendly? Would you recommend the site?

On a related note, if I owned a site that might potentially be some real competition for Videobox, I think I'd sell it a bit better. There is no way to see what the content is. There is one page that has a testimonial video from Eva Angelina and the other links take you directly to the sign-up page. Why on earth would a webmaster not realize that people may want to see what you have to offer? Videobox (and the late and lamented American Vice) allow potential customers to browse through the entire site and see what's on offer. Nothing is hidden. BaDoink seems to expect potential customers to take a leap of faith. It'd be like buying a car and having none of your questions answered until you hand over the cash. "What size engine does it have? What's the fuel mileage like? How about safety features?" Sir, once you buy the car all that will be revealed. Please sign here."

I couldn't agree more. I've always respected the U.N., but this story undermines that respect. The Democratic Republic of the Congo is also in the running for a seat. The DRC has a record on violence agaisnt women that would probably make Iran blush.

If you're interested in the story, there is a great interview on the CBC website with Canada's former ambassador to the U.N., Stephen Lewis. It is an excellent listen. Search "cbc as it happens" and look for part one of the Monday, November 8, 2010 show.

I'm mixed on this.

On one hand, university has been marketed as the best route to success when it really may not be for many people. I can't speak for other parts of the planet, but here in eastern Canada we could do with a few less university graduates and few more plumbers.

On the other hand, a university education, regardless of the cost, is a good investment in a person's future. I remember reading that the average university graduate earns close to a million dollars more over the span of a career versus someone without a university education. I paid my own way through two degrees and came out with a lot of debt, but it was worth the cost. I complained a bit about debt-load at the time, but I eventually came to realize that no one else was obligated to invest in my future so it was up to me. I'm glad I went that route.

Not necessarily related to the topic, I think that far too many universities offer and university students expect career training. In some applied areas (such as engineering, law and medicine) that may be true, but I think the real value of a university education is learning to think critically and gather evidence that leads you to a conclusion. But if we all did that people like Dr. Phil would be unemployed...

I think that the internet is just a means of delivering the porn, much like the past media were simply the delivery method. The internet may evolve in the future, but it won't go away. And since it won't be going away the evolution will only change how it is delivered. Virtual reality or bio-feedback may be on the horizon somewhere, and when that happens porn will likely be among the first to use it for commercial applications.

Maybe the bigger issue with the viability of the internet as a means of delivering porn is more a problem with it as a business model. If the piracy issue can be resolved without penalizing those of us who do support the creation of new stuff with our cash, that may signal a big shift for online porn.

I think this is more hype than reality. This sounds more like something to be invented by the people who want to promote a return to family values. Has it happened in reality? Maybe, but it isn't common and isn't ever to likely be.

I’m still trying to recover from the hatred tossed at me when I mentioned “girl-girl,” “milk” and “enema” in the same sentence. If I hit a nerve with this post, please don’t bother with the flaming. Just don’t ask about strange fetishes if you’re hoping for “MILFs wearing wooly sweaters praying the rosary in a mahogany-lined chapel.”

My thought for this post came about when I saw a recent addition to Videobox which was part of the “Shorty Mac’n Your Daughter” series, produced (presumably) by the male porn star Shorty Mac. I watched a couple of scenes, and what struck me is this guy seems to have porn backwards. Or maybe I do. He seemed to be the “star” and the girl was the window dressing. Unless I discover that I’m really a closeted gay guy attracted to short guys, I think this is a marketing flaw. But I might be wrong. (About the marketing. I’m pretty sure that any latent lust for short men would have revealed itself by now if it existed…)

To me, porn is about women. A guy has as much status in a porn scene as the couch, bed or pheasant farm where the scene is filmed. For me, the scene is all about her: her expressions and reactions. Her orgasm. The guy is furniture. Do your job, do it well and shut the fuck up. Your orgasms is necessary as hardcore, but only for her (positive) reaction to it.

But… there are lots of male porn stars who have featured themselves prominently in titles: Sean Michaels, Joey Silvera, John Stagliano, Peter North and Ron Jeremy. But with them, they seem to get that they may be the producers, directors and cast, but the women are still the stars. Take Peter North; he has several series with his name, several websites, but he never seems to try to upstage his female co-star(s). He seems to realize that the women are the draw. (And in a bit of irony, I happen to be over-nighting in Peter’s home town of Halifax tonight.)

But there seems to be a shift: guys seem to be starting video and web series that are about them, and how they fuck women. Is this just a shift in our move to a culture where the only sin is anonymity? Facebook, Twitter, etc allow users to create a universe where they’re the center and that’s the reason for the male-centred porn. (Anything with “bus” in the title seems to illustrate my point.)

I think this is new in porn. I’ve watched a lot of porn over the past 25 years and haven’t really encountered it. But now, there seems to be a trend to guys making porn about themselves. I’m all for free expression, but I’ll watch Aubrey Addams any day over Shorty Mac.

And finally, as a tribute to his one-man, but female oriented videos, I say that when he dies (of a ripe old age) we ask that Randy Spears donate his hair to the Smithsonian.

Amen to that, squirrel. I'm actually surprised that in the U.S. a company could get away with limits given the choices available in many areas.

I have a friend (a PU member too) who's provider used to impose an 80GB limit until Netflix became available. Then the provider dropped the limit to 60GB. This fellow went over by 15GB one month (no easy way to determine where he stood) and was billed an additional $30. The hypocrisy is that his provider was also one of the largest cable suppliers too, and obviously didn't want competition. He switched recently and I begged him to tell his old supplier that he was leaving because of the limits and tell the new supplier that he joined them specifically because they have no limits. I trust he did that.

Breaking the commandment to refrain from stealing, I "borrowed," on extended "loan," a stack of Penthouse from a cousin when I was in my early teens. That would be the early 1980s. This was my first real exposure to porn, and to naked women in general. These were a slice of heaven for me, and started me on a long road that continues today. In high school I discovered a seedy second-hand book store where the owner didn't care who he sold stuff to, so I bought every Penthouse he had. A buddy and I would co-finance and started a two-lad, socialist porn-sharing network. Or as we call them in Canada, a co-operative. Penthouse remained a favorite for years.

I bought an issue maybe ten years ago and it was apparent they were chasing Larry Flynt in that the magazine's photo shoots had gone very hardcore. I'm not opposed to hardcore, but that seemed out of place in Penthouse, which to me had been the perfect blend of class and perversion. With excellent journalism thrown in too. (I recall an article by South African Archbishop Desmond Tutu once.) More recently, I bought an issue and they seemed to be targeting magazines like Details: very softcore and very boring.

I have no idea what point I'm making, except to say that Bob Guccione was a big part of my formative years and I'm thankful for that. And I'm not a serial killer because of it.

Thanks Bob, even though I stole and wanked because of you, both I learned in Sunday school, are sins.

And to this day, I can't imagine that I actually convinced myself that my cousin wouldn't miss a stack of skin mags.

Count me among those supporting stockings (garter belt or stay-ups) and never wanting to see pantyhose again. Pantyhose should be banned for every purpose other than as equipment in armed robberies.

I honestly have no idea what ADT is and was only asking.

I really enjoy them. For me it makes it almost like a public nudity thing knowing that the crew is there. I know that it can be doing porn on the cheap by doubling up, but I'm a fan.

There is an on going thread at ADT that's about this very subject. Angel Long, Harley raines, Darla Crane, Isabelle Ice, Ryan Conner, Belladonna, Claire Robbins, Roxy Jezel are just some of the girls that have ingested a small amount of fecal matter.

I've never seen the actual 2 girl 1 cup video but I have seen a few scat videos in my life and that's one of those fetishes who's appeal escapes me.

I'm with you on the scat video thing. That has no appeal for me. I am okay with ATM however, but since this is a fetish discussion that's something we'll probably have to agree to disagree on.

Sorry to sound stupid, but you refer to an "ADT thread." What's that?

Good Lord! I've never seen this kind of stuff and don't think I could watch it. I've spoken to a guy who watched the "2 Girls 1 Cup" thing and he gave me a brief description. There is no way I'd even attempt to watch that. This must be non-mainstream porn that you're talking about. I've been a porn watcher for more than 20 years and have never seen that. And I'd like to keep it that way.

I didn't realize that I'd hit a nerve here by raising milk enemas. I guess I won't mention the older scenes over at Fisting Lessons where one model sticks grapes up another model's ass and then eats them as they pop out. Or maybe I'll steer clear of mentioning Ass Smoothies too.

I didn't mean to cause anyone nightmares, but remember, the thread is about strange fetishes, and all I did was mention one of mine.

All kinds of things to do.

In most of the girl/girl scenes involving milk enemas the milk is expelled onto the other girl. But keep in mind that these girls have obviously had water enemas off camera to prepare for the scene. The only thing coming out is the milk. Or the banana in one case.

Thanks for the tip. I had a membership there a couple of years ago and saw many of those scenes. I'll check back and see if I can find newer ones.

Actually, one of the best scenes that I've seen involving milk enemas was produced in 2010. It's a scene with a couple of European models (Logan and Alysha) in Anal Buffet 4. The title is available on the Evil Angel channel at Videobox. It's an amazing scene.

Just when I thought I couldn't possibly find interest in a new fetish, one comes along. After watching a couple of editions of "Milk Nymhos" from Evil Angel (they're available on the Evil Angel channel at Videobox) I now have a thing for watching girl-girl milk enema play. Unfortunately, "milk enemas" also appear to be a quasi-medical thing for some people, so Googling "milk enema" doesn't give me much of what I'm looking for. If anyone knows any sites that feature milk enemas I'd appreciate the tip.

Rob12 - I had an Evil Angel membership earlier this summer and didn't experience any of the problems you've had. I also use Explorer as my browser. Maybe Evil Angel has made some changes and they're not bothering to admit that they have some bugs to work out.

I agree with you 100% that some of the big studios can seem lazy when it comes to internet sites. It almost seems like they think that this internet thing is a passing fad. You'd think if you were a major studio that having a great site would be a priority.

Another thing that may or not be a "fetish" is how girls in JAV start squealing like they're being molested by a bad uncle in so many scenes. Japanese girls are cute, but I don't need to be made to feel like more of a pervert than I am.

Good-fucking-god! You weren't kidding about the models at Thin Fetish. I'm into petite and thin models too and thought maybe this site might be something that would give me what I was looking for, but you're right about this being creepy. The girl with the shaved head puts this well into 'weird.'
