The coronavirus pandemic has led to a precipitous drop in mail deliveries, worsening a crisis for an already financially troubled service. Last week, Postmaster General Megan Brennan said financial woes exacerbated by the pandemic could cause the agency to run out of money by October. The $2 trillion coronavirus stimulus package passed on March 25 did not provide assistance for the Postal Service, despite bipartisan support for the funding, according to an aide to the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, which has jurisdiction over the Postal Service. Instead, the legislation only allowed the Postal Service to borrow $10 billion from the Treasury Department. “There was bipartisan support for direct appropriations to go to the Postal Service,” said a committee aide, who requested anonymity to discuss ongoing negotiations. Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin “said you can have the loan or you can have nothing.” Yet in the weeks since the stimulus passed, the Treasury Department has not approved the loan. A spokesperson for Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee Chairman Ron Johnson, a Wisconsin Republican, did not respond to a request for comment. While the White House will not comment on the reason for the delay, American Postal Workers Union President Mark Dimondstein said the administration is using the loan to try to push privatization. He blames administration “idealogues,” including Mnuchin, for using the crisis “to push their privatization agenda.” A spokesperson for the Treasury Department said Mnuchin and the White House are “supportive” of the loan. “Treasury, including Secretary Mnuchin, has been in direct contact with the USPS multiple times this week, and we are working closely with the USPS to put the new $10 billion line of credit with the USPS into effect,” the Treasury spokesperson said in an email. While the administration says it is working with the Postal Service, Ronnie Stutts, the president of the National Rural Letter Carriers Association, accused the White House and Treasury Department of blocking postal funding as part of an effort to privatize the agency. “Everything was going good with this until they got to the White House,” Stutts said. The Treasury Department and Trump want “to privatize postal service,” he added. “There's no two ways about it. And when it got there, he killed it. They said no. He was not going to give us any money.” While the Postal Service is a quasi government agency, it is in a unique position since it has not been funded by taxpayer dollars since the 1980s. Instead, the post office relies on its own revenue from mail services. While the Postal Service has made a profit, it has been facing financial woes since 2006, when legislation was passed requiring the Postal Service to pre-fund retirement for its workers. Prior to the coronavirus pandemic, the Postal Service was already in dire straits with its liabilities and debt vastly outpacing revenue. Last year, the U.S. Government Accountability Office described the “overall financial picture” of the Postal Service as “deteriorating and unsustainable.” The coronavirus has dramatically worsened this situation by causing a large decline in mail volume due to decreased commercial activity. The Postal Service saw a 24.2 percent decline in delivered mail volume during the week of March 29 to April 4 and delivered-mail volume was down over 30 percent for the first three days of last week, according to a presentation made by the Postal Service and distributed to members of Congress last week. The presentation, which was obtained by Yahoo News, predicted that there would be 35 billion fewer pieces of mail in the remainder of the fiscal year, which ends in September. The Postal Service is forecasting the declines to continue through the next fiscal year leading to a $23 billion increase in net losses over the next 18 months. The presentation said the agency hopes to receive a $25 billion grant to cover losses related to the pandemic. It also said the Postal Service needs a $25 billion modernization grant to “weather the longer term economic impacts” as well as debt relief and additional borrowing authority. A spokesperson for the Postal Service declined to answer questions and referred Yahoo News to a statement Brennan, the postmaster general, released on Friday describing the agency’s stimulus needs. Stutts, the National Rural Letter Carriers Association president, said that even if Mnuchin approves the loans authorized by the last stimulus, it will not be enough to solve the Postal Service’s financial problems. “Right now it’s approximately $11 billion that we’ve defaulted and it’s about 5.5 billion each year to pre-fund retirement. We just don’t have the money,” Stutts said. “It’s not going to be paid back. And if we borrowed $10 billion, it’s just going to put us further in debt.” On April 7, during a coronavirus task force press briefing, President Trump dismissed allegations he was essentially trying to end the U.S. Postal Service. “Oh, I’m the reason the Postal Service — the Postal Service has lost billions of dollars every year for many, many years. So I’m the demise? This is a new one. I’m now the demise of the Postal Service,” Trump said. Trump went on to blame the situation on “internet companies,” including Amazon, which he has frequently accused of not paying enough for its use of the U.S. Postal Service. “They lose money every time they deliver a package for Amazon or these other internet companies, these other companies that deliver,” he said. “They drop everything in the Post Office and they say, ‘You deliver it.’” While the White House and Treasury Department did not respond to questions about whether the president or Mnuchin want to see the Postal Service privatized, they have signaled support for this approach in the past. In 2018, Trump issued an executive order that created a postal task force to identify potential ways to improve the agency’s financial woes. Mnuchin led that task force, and its final report advocated selling off parts of the service to private companies. One major concern about privatization is that the Postal Service has a universal service obligation that requires it to deliver mail for equal rates anywhere in the country. This includes rural routes that are not necessarily profitable. Dimondstein, the president of the American Postal Workers Union, noted private companies do not have any similar obligation. There’s little reason to doubt that if Trump began broadcasting every day that it was time for Americans to return to their normal life, millions would heed his advice. But in jurisdictions where a governor or mayor had put restrictions in place, tweets or statements from Trump would not supersede those orders. There is also the question of whether businesses that typically draw crowds would see their regular business. Would younger people who are less at risk for the disease still flock to bars, as happened in many places on St. Patrick’s Day weekend? Probably. But would Major League Baseball or the National Basketball Association cram thousands into stadiums and arenas for games if medical experts were warning against it — risking headlines about how they helped spread the coronavirus in their city? What about movie theaters, concert venues, malls and airports? If the death toll continues to tick up and horror stories about churches, families and neighborhoods stricken by the virus spread, how eager will Americans be to get back to normal? If Congress fails to provide an adequate legislative response for working Americans — whether that’s increased unemployment insurance, direct cash payments or various types of debt or housing relief — then there will be pressure to get back to work, but if large parts of the population are still staying home, it’s difficult to imagine the economy or stock market quickly recovering the ground it has lost in the past month. And as the coronavirus crisis has pushed over a dozen states to postpone their presidential primaries, move to conduct them entirely by mail, or both, the Postal Service's lack of funding could impact ongoing and upcoming 2020 elections by harming states' efforts to expand absentee voting and vote-by-mail. House Oversight Committee Chairwoman Carolyn Maloney and Rep. Gerry Conolly, who runs the subcommittee that oversees the Postal Service, sounded the alarm that the agency could run out of funding altogether by June if Congress doesn't act soon. "Based on a number of briefings and warnings this week about a critical fall-off in mail across the country, it has become clear that the Postal Service will not survive the summer without immediate help from Congress and the White House," the two said in a March 23 joint statement, calling on Congress to appropriate $25 million in emergency funds to the agency. But President Donald Trump, who has been vocally hostile to the idea of expanding vote by mail, is actively opposed to any measures to help the Post Office and refused to sign the CARES Act stimulus package if it included a bailout for the agency, the Washington Post reported on Saturday. Navy officials said they fired Capt. Brett Crozier because he bypassed the chain of command by sending the letter, and wasn't careful with who the information was sent to. Crozier has been hailed in the wake of his firing, with his sailors giving him a raucous send-off and chanting his name as he left the ship in Guam. President Donald Trump on Saturday bashed Capt. Brett Crozier, the fired Navy commander who wrote a letter demanding assistance with the coronavirus outbreak on his ship that sickened dozens of sailors. Trump said he agreed "100%" with the Navy's decision to fire the commander, though he acknowledged he didn't "know much about it." Navy officials removed Crozier from command on Thursday, several days after he sent a four-page letter to senior military officials pleading for help from the Pentagon as the virus spread throughout the ship. The letter was then leaked to the media. The acting Navy Secretary Thomas Modly told media the dismissal was because Crozier circumvented the chain of command when he sent the letter, and wasn't careful with "who that information went to." "He wrote a letter. The letter was a five-page letter from a captain. And the letter was all over the place," Trump told reporters at his Saturday press briefing, inaccurately stating the number of pages. "That's not appropriate. I don't think that's appropriate." In the letter, Crozier had described the impossible feat of implementing quarantines and social-distancing guidelines, noting that the warship had major space limitations. He urged the military officials to remove most of the 4,800 service members aboard the ship and provide space to quarantine on shore in Guam, saying he knew it was an "extraordinary measure," but that it was a "necessary risk." "We are not at war. Sailors do not need to die," Crozier wrote. "If we do not act now, we are failing to properly take care of our most trusted asset — our Sailors." In his Saturday press briefing, Trump said he thought the letter "looked terrible." "I thought it was terrible what he did, to write a letter? I mean, this isn't a class on literature. This is a captain of a massive ship that's nuclear-powered," Trump said. "And he shouldn't be talking that way in a letter. He could call and ask, and suggest." After Crozier was fired, several videos went viral showing the send-off the sailors gave him. Crozier walked off the ship in Guam to raucous cheers and applause, with sailors chanting Crozier's name. The Navy announced Saturday that 155 people aboard the USS Theodore Roosevelt had tested positive for COVID-19, none were hospitalized, and 44% of the ship's crew had been tested. So far, 1,548 sailors have been moved ashore, and the ship will keep enough sailors aboard "to sustain essential services and sanitize the ship in port," the Navy said. I don't know what to think about the corona virus. Yesterday, Trump said if 100,000 to 200,000 Americans died from the virus, that would be a victory for the Trump presidency (because they did such a great job protecting America from the disease). Today, (Monday, March 30, 2020), Dr. Deborah Birx, a member of the White House task force, predicted there would be up to 200,000 deaths in the U.S. even “if we do things almost perfectly.” You can't believe Trump. He tells too many lies. Can you believe Dr. Birx, a medical doctor who's on the White House task force? Or do you assume that what she says is influenced by politics? If she says something Trump doesn't like, I assume she will be off the task force, which is what Trump does to people who don't follow his party line. But 100,000 to 200,000 American deaths would be a scary figure. So we're still in the early stages of the pandemic for the US. February 26, Trump said there were 15 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and no deaths attributed to the virus. He also said there would be close to zero confirmed cases in a couple of days. “We have it so well under control. I mean, we really have done a very good job.” Now the administration is saying, expect 100,000 to 200,000 deaths from the virus, and that would be an excellent job. This is real news. Or maybe it's political news. If I didn't read it on the internet, I would think it was fake news. President Trump says if 100,000 to 200,000 Americans die from the coronavirus, he will have done a very good job. I assume he is setting the bar low, so he can brag what a wonderful president he is. But 100,000 to 200,000 American deaths, from the virus, seems like a lot of deaths. I assume, since there were secret briefings for the US President back in January and February, warning about the virus, and almost nothing was done to prepare for it, the possible death toll should probably be far less than 100,000. But I haven't read a lot about the potential death toll, until Trump announced that 100,000-200,000 American deaths would be a victory for the Trump presidency. I'm starting to see porn about the corona virus. But it doesn't follow the guidelines of social distancing. Therefore it's not safe sex. Stay at least 6 feet away from your partner, if you want to indulge in sex. That's what the surgeon general and the CDC recommend. Better safe than sorry. I know that when cum shoots out, it takes a virile man to shoot 6 feet or more. But even that is not safe sex. Stay tuned for further guidelines from the surgeon general and the CDC. Gretchen Whitmer, told a radio station Friday that medical supply vendors informed her they’ve been told “not to send stuff” to her state amid the battle against COVID-19. Whitmer, a Democrat, didn’t say if the orders were coming from the White House or if vendors may have been intimidated by Trump’s feud with the governor. But she did appear to link the problem to the president because she told WWJ-AM in Detroit that she tried Thursday night to call the White House to discuss the issue. She couldn’t get through to Trump, who was at the time trashing Whitmer — whom he referred to as “that young ... woman governor from Michigan” — to Sean Hannity on Fox News. “We don’t like to see the complaints,” Trump said in a phone interview. Whitmer told WWJ: “When the federal government told us that we needed to go it ourselves [on medical supplies], we started procuring every item we could get our hands on. But what I’ve gotten back is that vendors with whom we had contracts are now being told not to send stuff here to Michigan.” She added: “It’s really concerning. I reached out to the White House last night, asked for a phone call with the president, ironically at the time that all this other stuff was going on.” Whitmer told CNN later in the day that the state’s shipments of personal protective equipment are being “canceled” or “delayed” — and sent instead to the federal government. She said it’s happening to other states as well. Trump’s willingness to punish a state’s residents amid a pandemic over a feud with a governor appeared evident in a statement at his press briefing Friday. The president said he had instructed Vice President Mike Pence, who heads up the president’s coronavirus task force, not to call the governors of Washington or Michigan. It would be nice to see better deals. But unless you're thinking about special discounts (which are usually linked to holidays, but can also be used with any event), I doubt that porn sites will, in general, being lowering their regular prices any time soon. Porn sites need the income or revenue to pay for site maintenance, salaries, new product, etc. Even if they run out of new product (e.g. updates), they still need income if they are to survive. Porn sites regularly go out of business for different reasons. I assume that lack of revenue is the main cause. I've seen a lot of good or fine sites disappear over the last few years. I hope not too many will go under because of the virus outbreak. But since a lot of porn production has stopped because of the virus, even more sites could go under. And I seriously doubt that Trump's trillion dollar bail-out package will be sending a lot of money to the porn industry. Even though the movie industry is asking for billions of dollars in aid. | |

Ayatollah Ali Khamenei's comments come as Iran faces crushing U.S. sanctions blocking the country from selling its crude oil and accessing international financial markets. But while Iranian civilian officials in recent days have increasingly criticized those sanctions, 80-year-old Khamenei instead chose to traffic in the same conspiracy theory increasingly used by Chinese officials about the new virus to deflect blame for the pandemic. “I do not know how real this accusation is but when it exists, who in their right mind would trust you to bring them medication?" Khamenei said. "Possibly your medicine is a way to spread the virus more.” He also alleged without offering any evidence that the virus “is specifically built for Iran using the genetic data of Iranians which they have obtained through different means.” “You might send people as doctors and therapists, maybe they would want to come here and see the effect of the poison they have produced in person," he said. Wuhan is the Chinese city where the first cases of the disease were detected in December. In recent days, the Trump administration has increasingly referred to the virus as the “Chinese” or “Wuhan” virus, while the World Health Organization used the term COVID-19 to describe the illness the virus causes. Even a U.S. senator from Arkansas has trafficked in the unfounded conspiracy theory it was a man-made Chinese bioweapon. For most people, the new coronavirus causes only mild or moderate symptoms, such as fever and cough. For some, especially older adults and people with existing health problems, it can cause more severe illness, including pneumonia. The vast majority of people recover from the new virus. Scientists have not yet determined exactly how the new coronavirus first infected people. Evidence suggests it originated in bats, which infected another animal that spread it to people at a market in Wuhan. biker, I disagree. mbaya posted a public reply to my review, stating it was not a review of a site, but of the network it belongs to. And that I previously submitted a review on that site less than a year earlier. So, that's going through channels? And keeping it private, when it's a public comment on my review? Why am I being childish, when I publicly post that I disagree with mbaya? He publicly posts replies to my reviews, stating they are faulty. And he sometimes publicly posts in those replies that he is informing the PU staff about his criticism, in a private email to the PU staff. Or else he asks the PU staff their opinion about my review, in his public reply. So how is he being adult, while I am being childish? I'm being childish by exposing my thoughts on a PU thread? And mbaya is an adult, because he uses public comments to report that my reviews should be denied? mbaya says he lets it drop when the PU admin makes a decision. Except he keeps coming up with reasons why newer reviews should be denied. So, it's not a one-time event. Or a two-time event. He's a adult who likes to jab me whenever he feels like it. You don't believe criticism is helpful. Who started the criticism? mbaya. And he keeps doing it. So that's an adult? Who keeps it private, by using public replies that my reviews are faulty, and states that he is asking for the PU staff to study my reviews, to see if they should be denied. The problem is that mbaya has questioned the eligibility of several reviews I've written. That he states or implies that my reviews should be declined. The reasons for decline can be ambiguous. The last case, where he says the review has only 2 facts on the site I wrote about, seems to be flawed. I read what I wrote, and it seems to me to be a review about a site. mbaya says that's wrong: the review is not about the site, but the network. And since I wrote a review about the same network 7 months ago, the current review should be rejected. If he is going to push for my reviews to be rejected on such flimsy grounds, then I need to ask or demand that mbaya be rejected on any and all technicalities that he breaks. In the current instance, mbaya's last 3 reviews are clear examples of cut and paste. Which is illegal. It breaks the rules. So am I complaining? Yes, I am. I'm complaining that he doesn't like my reviews, and wants them to be rejected. And the specific reasons he uses for rejection can be flimsy. He has accused me of fraud, because I changed my alias when I had a problem logging in to PU. The site (or my computer) would not bring up my account. I don't know what the reason for the problem was. But mbaya said, that because my alias was new, that I had an unfair advantage about submitting reviews, because the PU server recognized me as a different account, and did not hold me to the 1-year limit about submitting a new re-review of a site. That wasn't why I asked for a new alias. I clearly explained the PU site was rejecting me from logging in to my account, and that's why I wanted a new alias. But mbaya said that was fraud. Because it allowed me to submit re-reviews without the time limit. In theory, the site explains somewhere that "After 6 months, a fresh re-review can be written to replace the old." In practice, the PU server seems to use a 1-year limit before it will accept a re-review on a site. I did submit a re-review of a site a few days before the 6 month limit, one time. Which he pointed out, and stated he was sending an email to Freddie to protest the review. I think the re-review was maybe 3 or 4 days before the 6-month re-review limit; but because the re-review was submitted under a different alias, the review was accepted by the PU server. I hadn't realized I was submitting the re-review under the 6-month limit, and publicly posted the review could be rejected, or applied to the next week's raffle, or whatever decision Freddie made. But Freddie accepted the review as it was. Sorry for the minor details. But if mbaya is going to complain to PU staff and demand that my reviews follow rules that he seems to make up in his head, then I need to complain and demand that he follow every rule exactly, or be rejected as well. Do I like complaining? No. But I am getting hit by complaints about my reviews, saying they are illegal and should be rejected. So what should I do? Let's look at how mbaya writes his reviews: How much original content is there in the pros and cons of the 3 sites from New Sensations network, or is it one review, repeated 3 times? The basic review guide (I don't know if it is still an "official" review guide any more): 1. A combination of at least 5 unique pros and/or cons. Each pro/con should be useful for fellow readers. 2. A bottom line statement about the site. Should include an overall opinion of the site and any other items worth mentioning. 3. Review should be balanced (not one-sided), honest, and respectful. 4. Review should be unique compared to previously written reviews. No copy/paste material. 5. Review should contain at least 150 words of useful content. The review guide does not require a minimum number of facts. Instead, it requires pros, cons, and opinions about the site. As far as I can tell, my review more than satisfied the requirement for a basic review. And I believe it also satisfied the requirements for an excellent review, because of the number of pros, cons, and bottom line statements about the site. A review is built on pros, cons, and a bottom line statement. The review I wrote has 9 pros for the site. The review I wrote has 6 cons for the site. The review I wrote has a bottom line containing facts, opinions, and details about the site. To say that "The only facts about the site per se are that it updates once a month and there are 121 videos and photo sets." seems ridiculous. And for mbaya to write: "My objection is that the review in question barely says anything about the site." Again, either mbaya is biased, or I'm biased, because our opinions of my review are completely opposed. I fail to understand how he can read my review and complain that it says almost nothing about the site. Except maybe he believes that if I mention the word "network", that wipes out any meaning of the idea of a site. So mbaya may be reading the review as a network review, and not a site review. And that's how he justifies the idea that the review is not a site review, but a network review. And since my review of the network was less than a year old, that's how he justifies his position that the review should not be approved. | |

Integrity is important. If I broke a rule by posting a review on a network and then posted a review on a site belonging to the network, maybe Tom can speak up. Or if mbaya broke one or more rules by posting a review on a network site, and then posted a review on a different site in the network, maybe Tom can speak up. How many reviews has mbaya posted on sites in the same network? Is that breaking the rules, of consanguinity? There was some discussion previously about reviewing related sites, but I didn't understand a lot of it, or if it was being implemented. Can the PU staff check if the reviews being submitted are acceptable, or if they are breaking the rules? We want a friendly atmosphere at PU. But mbaya seems big on rules. Some of the rules he seems to make up by himself. I would rather follow rules set by the PU staff, instead. But in the interest of fairness and integrity, the rules should be the same for everyone. And if mbaya does win a prize, maybe he can buy new glasses, so that he can read what's written in a review and try to understand it, instead of twisting the facts to support his claims. JMHO | |

I've been a continuous member of the network for over 3 years now, and the search at the TMW site used to be good, returning only results that matched the model's name. This refers to the site (as well as the network): -Pre-checked cross-sale on join page. -Login and member pages are non-secure. Not https. So easy to hack. I explain why the First BGG site has a slow update rate: -Although the network has a daily update, the update rate for the site is approximately 1 per month. 2018-11-27 the site had 110 videos. 2020-03-17 the site has 121 videos. So over time, the update rate is less than 1 per month. The reason for the slow update rate for the site is that updates are spread over the network, so the BGG site gets less than 1 new video plus matching photo set per month. Which is more than acceptable, since there is a huge amount of teen content in the network to look through. The biller for the site is Vendo. Which is less well known than CCBill or Epoch. -Vendo is the billing agent. Not as familiar as CCBill or Epoch. But I've used Vendo many times, and never had a problem. So I'm listing it as a minor con, but it's not really a con. I've used Vendo for WowGirls, DDF Network, Ultra Films, Lust Week, etc. -Many of the sites are archive sites, that haven't updated in years. The quality of the archive sites is definitely less than the current output of videos and photosets. Some of the archive sites do not have streaming; you have to download the video or photo set to see it. The site photosets have a zip file, but only in 1 definition: -The photosets have a zip file, but it's only in 1 definition, not low, medium and high. BOTTOM LINE(START OF): Site theme: One guy on two girls. Forget love, these girls are interested in sex. And they are willing to share a guy. Site stats: videos: 121 photo sets: 121 This review is on First BGG, but I believe the details on the TMW network, of which First BGG is part of, can be helpful. What I like about the site and network: The models are mainly attractive young teens, who put on a good show: they seem to enjoy the sex. The models are real teens. Not a lot of fake boobs. Not a lot of tattoos. This is not a glam site or network. The network started around 2005. The site (First BGG) started around 2011. The network started out as a low-rent teen hardcore collection of sites. Over time, they have spent a lot of time, effort and money into upgrading the network and included sites. For the last few years, you can stream or download the most recent videos in 360p up to 2160p. The upgrades included: With a membership in any site in the network, you now get access to all the sites (currently 33 sites.) Better equipment for filming and photographing, better, more expensive sets, better costumes (the costumes are street clothes, but better street clothes than what they used to wear), better lighting, sound control. The videos and photo sets from the last few years are excellent quality: not glamcore, but still excellent quality. The quality obviously gets worse as you look at the older material. First BGG is part of the TMW network. TMW is one of my favorite teen hardcore network. I wouldn't say that First BGG is one of the top sites in the network, but it is a worthwhile addition to the network. I'm giving the site a score of 90. That is basically because joining any site in the network gives you access to the entire network. If I had to score the First BGG by itself, without network access, the score would be much lower. But it's still a good site, with 121 videos and matching photosets. In conclusion: although I am mixing details of the site and network in the review, I believe it helps to understand the site better, if the network details are included. To say that "The only facts about the site per se are that it updates once a month and there are 121 videos and photo sets." seems like a huge error. Did mbaya read the entire review? Did he understand my review? To me, it seems he has an agenda that the review is worthless, because it's from a fellow PU member that he seems to regard as a competitor. Is the review worthless, or did it break any PU rules? Not in my opinion, certainly. But different opinions from different folks. To be fair, you could ask the PU members to vote on whether the last 5 or 10 reviews from me, and from mbaya, have any value. Or if they meet the standard of quality that PU should accept. I'm more than willing to accept the vote of the PU membership, if my reviews have any value, or lack value and should be denied. If you are willing to have the PU membership vote on mbaya's reviews, as well. Do mbaya's reviews have any value, or should they be denied? If you really want to get specific: Look at mbaya's reviews of sites from each network. Compare the points he makes with the points in each review. He is comparing a network review I wrote with a review on a specific site (The TMW network and the First BGG site). How many similar points does he make in his reviews, of sites from the same network? Can we go back and deny or disqualify all his reviews that have too many similar details? mbaya, please stand up to be counted for truth and honesty: do you repeat details from related sites? Do you repeat details from former reviews? How many of your reviews have stated there is a pre-checked cross-sale on the join page? How many of your reviews have stated there are no download limits? How many times has mbaya stated the site was part of a network (as one of the pros of the review)?
