The $59.99 deal was a Christmas Special good for 24 hours. I was skeptical but figured I'd blow $60 for dinner at a nice restaurant so why not sign up and see what happens. So far I've had 3+ months of total access which calculates out at $20 per month to a site I'd probably have signed up for anyway.

Having been a member, off and on, of both Brazzers and Reality Kings for many years, I suggest that you join each site for ust one month to get a good idea which one suits your tastes and interests. Both sites are, in my opinion, excellent and both are getting better.

I am currently on a very long term (until 2021) member of Brazzers that cost me $79.99 and am quite happy with the deal.

A caution to you. There's a trend among some of the most venerable sites to converting to streaming only with downloads being available only upon payment of an additional fee (or membership).

I am also a month-to-month member of Reality Kings (at a 50% discount). However I will probably cancel just because I don't have time to have fun with two mega-sites at the same time.

Another site that needs a review by TBP is All Fine Girls (aka 18 only girls), part of the Diesel (Wow Girls)group.

The discussion of the legality of downloading streaming only material reminds me of the good old days of VHS rentals where porn producers couldn't be bothered employing copy protection so folks could dub over the "good stuff" via a second VCR with no difficulty.

Similar protection is currently available to the websites that offer stream only stuff but the cost to the site apparently makes it not worth the trouble.

California stops rule for condoms for porn productions. Believe it or not, protective eyewear was also part of the regulation.

Here's a link to the article in today's paper:

Just to add to some of the earlier comments...

I agree with all of the plaudits directed to Khan. He's set a professional tone to everything and is quickly responsive to all postings that need a response whether the post is here in the forum or somewhere else such as a reply to a review or a poll question.

I've referred to TBP as the Consumer Reports of the porn industry and the review section the Yelp. I've learned a lot from this site and have saved big bucks by avoiding crummy sites and fraudulent practices.

One possible new feature that I'd love is a news column that would discuss what's new in the business and an editorial commentary discussing issues of the day with opinions of your staff. (Good ideas for expanded discussions are easily found in the replies to polls and comments that appear in reviews, etc.

Sounds like what I'm doing. The only minor difference is that I create sub-files for each female. I use Win 7 as well.

In other words, all videos go to My Videos, a folder in My Documents that collects all videos I download.

Then I create the individual model folders with a sub-folder for the site.

Example...

My Documents
...My Videos
......Mandy Dee
.........DDF
.........Met Art
.........21 Sextury

I don't set up the genre in the folder structure.

I use Down Them All where it's very easy to create the sub-folders when setting the download. Example: My Documents\My Videos\Mandy Dee\MetArt downloads the file directly to the correct folder.

I'm a video guy, but occasionally I download video sets. In those cases I create yet another sub-folder; Photos.

By the way, I use an exclamation point (!) rather than an X to notate "special" files because the explanation point always places the file first when alphabetizing. Edited on Jun 25, 2015, 06:49pm

It's a problem with many of the "softer" sites like Met Art, ALS Scan and so on. Not so much with the hardest of hard core sites.

The difference is that storage and bandwidth are so cheap now that tubes can and do host a glut of free content, and they are not policed well for copyright enforcement.

I think AWPress is right that if you download a few videos that aren't for sale anymore from tubes it is probably a case of no harm no foul. At the same time though, many of the sites that have closed in recent years might still be around if not for piracy on the tubes.

I would prefer a world without tubes, if it would have meant that a few more studios could have stayed open.

Not that simple. The quality of most tube material is usually inferior. Also many major websites (Twistys, Mofos, Bang Bros, Brazzers, Reality Kings, etc.) use tubes to promote themselves with sample content in disguise so rather than pining over what tubes are doing, they are taking the opportunity to promote their sites using tubes.

Those guys are staying up with the times, and quite well, in my opinion.

That could be a problem. The site looks great with some good stuff, but without any upticks by TBP/PU, I'm not willing to drop $29.99 to find out the site is no longer updated and/or has crappy servers that make downloading a pain in the butt.

If the site is really good, they will satisfy the TBP folks that they have emerged from bankruptcy and are fully back in business.

Be patient.

Luckily I checked it first, otherwise the data on the primary might have been corrupted.

Now it's time to order more drives.

Absolutely correct.

I have two 2 Tb externals that I use. They are mirror images.

Also, a great time to get some additional hard drives; the prices are quite low.

Why not choose a site with similar content that TBP shows as being active to talk about instead of trying to get a site that looks fishy reinstated.

I agree with Pat. The PU/TBP site has four levels of business practice notifications:

1. No comments or warnings - I interpret this as no indication of bad practices by the site. (A solid green light)

2. Cross check warnings - I interpret this as a no indication of bad practices by the site except the caution to a member of the site to be aware of cross checked options appearing in the signup process. (A flashing yellow (caution) light)

3. Posting of a site but no evaluations and a notice that TBP does not accept the business practices of the site - I interpret this as acknowledgement of the site but that TBP will not go any further. (A flashing red light (stop and check the situation before proceeding))

4. Not posting a site (such as the one under discussion) - The site fails in one or more respects to qualify for inclusion on the site - I interpret this as being a loud and clear signal that the site should be avoided. (A do not enter sign)

That's why I find PU/TBP to be superior to any of the other review sites and what makes this thread useful in addressing sites that are new or are reactivations of previously dormant sites.

That's also why, in my opinion, a site like AmericanKittens.com with its current business practices should not be included in the PU site unless and until it uses legitimate business practices. Edited on Nov 19, 2014, 09:53pm

I was able to access the site and watched the preview loop. Good quality video, but that's about the only positive thing I can say about it. But that's a personal perspective. I don't get the drunk thing, a girl who is totally skunked isn't my idea of a sexy babe in a sexy scene.

In any case, as I always say different strokes for different strokers.

FWIW, I went to this site's URL yesterday and saw the offer that goes away on 12/1/14. I bookmarked it so I could check it out when I had more time. When I came back the link didn't work, so I assume that the site is closed to new business already.

Also worthy of note, the headline on the site had a comment that it was rated #1 by Rabbits Reviews. Rabbits Reviews has nothing at all on WDGirls.com.

Looks to be like this site is flaky (why else will they close enrollments?) and, contradictorily, is willing to prevaricate in its promotional material.

I think I will give these guys a wide berth and wait until they choose to go mainstream, if they do, and see what TBP has to say when (if) TBP does a review.

Good idea, but two thoughts.

1. With the virtual destruction of Twistys.com by the site's new owner. But it continues as if it's the same terrific site. What would be great would be an ownership change report on PU or TBP.

2. With many sites becoming dormant or nearly dormant with few if any new updates, it would be a great addition to the site facts page of TBP to indicate the dormancy and, if there's any back story info available, whether it will be rejuvenated.

Not being a tekki but being a part of management where I work, I must applaud the patience and thoroughness these guys are putting in.

There always is the temptation to show the world all the wonderful things developed and to "show off" a bit.

I love the concept, all too often lacking in web development, of let's do it right the first time.

The sign in my office says, " whu is it we never have time to do it right the first time but always have time to go in the second time and fix the mistakes?"

Ditto that. Whenever I get any super duper special offer from any site I immediately go to TBP and PU and check it out. If it's not listed, I'm gone. If it is listed I read the reviews and comments before I even go to the site.

So far only a small number of these sites show up on TBP/PU, and those that do are reported to be dormant.

I really like the new layout and am looking forward to it because it pulls in everything I use the site for (except the forum...which should be separate anyway).

My one concern is that stuff is added to the new site just for "wowsie" and not for legitimate functionality. So far it doesn't look like "wowsie" is the objective.

Interesting discussion. I've been a member of VideoBox for at least 8 years. Their monthly rate is $15.00 regular and $12.00 at PU's special rate.

VB posts 5 full DVD's per day, 365 days a year, which means a member gets access to an average of 150 full length videos per month, or 10 cents per video. The average video has five scenes so the rice per scene is $0.02. Yes, they do have some "crap" but at 2 cents per scene I('m fine with that, especially because they have a lot more superb stuff than "crap.".

jook's point is that his site Trike Patrol charges $30 per month for 4 or 5 updates, total. That's $5.00 to $7.70 per update, which I suspect is a single scene.

How does VB stay in business? I suspect that it's because they have a ton of subscribers; a direct result of their great price. Trike Patrol serves a special niche which means their stuff is probably high quality but it probably has a much smaller subscriber base.

That means Trike Patrol has to cover its costs with far fewer customers.

The economic concept is fixed vs variable costs. VB pays the same fees/royalties for its content whether they have 20 subscribers or 20,000. The only variable cost of significance is servers and bandwith, the cost of which varies by volume of activity.

That means VB makes more per $12 subscriber than Trike Patrol per $30 subscriber simply because VB's costs are spread over a much larger base than Trike Patrol's.

Some long term (more than one month) memberships where I felt the content was worth the price based on quality and frequency of updates are:

Twistys (mostly softcore and midcore with some hardcore)
DDF Network (mostly hardcore Eurobabes)
VideoBox (5 hardcore movie updates daily at a really low price)
MetArt (mostly photos, all softcore but superb quality)

Good post. I have the same question. I've seen "tags" lately on sites that would be great for my collection (which is set up by model name with subdirectories for each model for the source).

But I have no idea how to create "tags" or even if I can. If I could "tag" I would do it by genre (solo, b/g, bj, etc.) by alias(es) and by charachteristics (big naturals, anal, etc.) Edited on May 12, 2013, 08:56am

Khan, thanks for checking.

Based on the preview sites for primecups.com and fistflush.com, two of DEV8's previously owned sites, it doesn't look like there have been any updates since 2009. However I like the quality of their stuff but couldn't afford the monthly charge. Now that they are finally offering all ten of their sites for a single price, I will sign up to drain what's there. I'll post a comment once I've done some exploration and have something to report.

Hey Khan,

Not really on topic but I just decided to go to Primecups.com, at one time operated by Dev8, that stopped updating back in 2009. They had several sites with similar site design and production techniques.

It appears that an outfit named perfectgonzo now owns & operates these sites and their join page says they offer access to all their sites for a single subscription. Dev8 never had a combo offer per se but they did offer a site that picked off several updates from each site at the standard $30 per month price.

My question is, have you ever heard of perfectgonzo and are they a trusted (by TBP) site operator?

Despite the high percentage of intially clothed sets, the models typically lose the clothes fast, and there are very few good strip sequences. The photographer Antonio Clemens does the best job of photographing strip sequences.

Messmer, I also counted how many of the last 80 sets had panties. It was only 25 of 80, and maybe half of those had the full frontal shots you describe. Met-Art is a good site, but strip-tease and panties are not their forte.

You nailed it. I was a member of MetArt for over a year but dropped the site in early 2012. The primary reason I moved on was there were few shots with even lingerie in tease situations.

If they have changed their approach I may return.

Here's another - a single model site...clubkatrin.com. It features a babe who has a range of names including Katrin Kozy, Kathy Kozy and Katrina Hartlova...and a great set of all natural hooters. Edited by Staff on May 01, 2013, 09:10am (Khan: direct link edited)

You are correct. Almost all of MetArt's photo sets start totally naked.

Me, Iove panties and especially when they are played with like a panty wedgie. Here's an example (Kathia Nobili):

I'm also into another use of panties...panty stuffing (Xena Wilkes):

Then there are crotchless panties (love them when the babe leaves them on whilst being porked):

And its cousin, a crotchless topless monokini:

Lindsey Vonn (Olympic skier and Tiger Wood's current main squeeze)

And, referring to CT's post (#82), Bob Hope had it right with his theme song, "Thanks for the Mammaries." Edited on May 02, 2013, 07:53am

How about hitomi tanaka's site? She's the Japanese sensation with an absolutely incredible rack. Her site address is hitomitanakaxxx.com

Actually that's great news. I was hoping the site was legit and had some quality. Based on the write-ups for Teasers VOD, I'm going to take the plunge.

Here's one that is not listed on PU.

bestpublicflashing.com/

The good news is that the preview site looks great and its biller is the always reliable EPOCH.com.

The bad news is that it looks like they became inactive in November 2011.

While I'm tempted to sign up for a month, I won't until I see some comments from PU members and/or TBP staff first. (Having been burned several times I no longer will sign up for any site "in the blind.") Edited by Staff on Mar 03, 2013, 08:24am (Khan: direct link URL edited/corrected)

NAILED IT!!!

The rubber issue has become a big thing because of the amount of time the schlong appears as the primary object in a scene.

It's intuitive. Read the earlier posts that discuss condoms in gay porn and you get the message. Edited on Feb 18, 2013, 09:09pm

I agree that this subject should be revisited. In the November 2012 election LA County voters passed an initiative that requires condom use in porn productions.

See: http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/lanow/2012/11/condoms-porn-county-enforce.html

The vast majority of US porn production activity is done in LA County with Miami coming in a distant second.

Being an LA taxpayer I would have preferred the initiative go down to defeat because the huge amount the porn industry pays in taxes presumably saves me paying even more than I do now.

But my feelings about condom use that I expressed a few years ago in this thread haven't changed one bit and I would hope that mine ultimately is the prevailing view.

I just posted a note. Looks like the site is inactive. Still has promise for historical research for those of us working toward our PhD in Applied Mammary Sciences. ;->

We'll look forward to seeing your review.

Strange thing. I went to the new TBP/PU home page for this site and the link to the site does not work. I then typed in rylskyart.com into my browser and the preview site popped in.

Looks like it may be as tame as MetArt.

Yes, it does. I'll hang loose until you complete the check.
