You say you don't like Annoying Talking Guys - be aware that in Japanese porn you're definitely going to find guys yammering on and on in a foreign language where you won't know what they're saying unless you know Japanese - though sometimes they have Chinese subtitles, if that helps. A few things: The look of the first page is amateurish, but in an appealing way. I like the counter. When I click through to "See More", though, alarms go off in my head when I see no dated updates. For me, no dated updates mean - "dead site - don't join no matter what else you hear". If I were just trolling the net on my own, that would be the end of my interest in the site. However, since I'm checking out the tour pages at your request, to give feedback, I click "See More" some more and see a bunch of photos kind of randomly scattered across the page - not in a way that arouses my interest. At a certain point, there's a vid that doesn't play but says, "Click Here" so I click there and I get this Tickets Club thing which is about as appealing as a club to get parking tickets more often so I click the back space a couple of times to see if I can see more of the site to give feedback on - if I were on my own, running into that Tickets Club thing would be the absolute end of my review of the site. But even reviewing the site at your request, when I can't get back out of Tickets Club by clicking backspace, well I really haven't seen anything that would tell me that this is a live site rather than ripoff trap and I haven't found out what the site costs or seen any evidence that it updates, so I think that's what you really need to work on. If this is a live site, you need to have free pages that prove it very quickly to people that happen onto it or nobody but the most adventurous, most foolhardy or those with lots of disposable cash are going to pay for this site. That's my opinion anyway. | |

I'm not a big fan of male cum. I much prefer seeing squirting when it's real, though it's not my favorite thing. Then there's the matter of economics - If you got one from Real Doll, which seems to be the premium choice, with shipping that would be $7,000. If you want to see "what a difference a rebill makes", take a look at the history of In The Crack. They had their token system where people could buy their content a la carte. If that were such a great business plan, would they have gone to monthly, where they could hope to have loyal members that would keep giving them a dependable source of income every month? Smart practice. In terms of the last issue that you raised, I look at it as a reading test. If you can read and think while looking forward to drooling over the delicious babes inside the site that you're about to join, then you'll choose the recurring membership at the lower price and cancel your membership when you want to cancel your membership. If you are so desperate to see the babes that you think it's worth $10-15 to not have to remember to cancel your membership, then you have failed the reading test, otherwise known as Thinking With The Little Head - we've all done it at one time or another. | |

Let's look at the "community standards" test in relation to the recent Supreme Court ruling on guns. The "community" in Washington DC was pretty clearly upset with the ruling that said that any nimbus had a right to bear arms, under the constitution, when they have had a hell of a time as it is, even with a ban, stopping hand-gun violence. Did the court give a hoot what the "community" thought? No. They didn't care what the constitution said since there isn't even a controversy about whether or not to arm state-sanctioned "militias". But in the case of porn and "speech", which is SO MUCH MORE consequential than young kids and other random people being shot to death all over the freaking place, then the "community" is held up high. And in fact, that's a lie, too, since the original story said that the jury members, in the main, did not want to convict Max but that the wording of the law, as it was read to them, gave them no other option. Yeah, even girls that I like getting dances with at strip clubs - I'm always glad when I hear that they're in school and if they're going on about how hard school will be and how much more fun they could have dancing for a living and partying at night, I'll always encourage them to go for the hard work and have more options open to them, even though it means that I'm deprived of their company. I've joined many solo girl sites. The key factors are: How hot am I for the girl? Are they presenting hot material? Are they updating in a way that gives value? Are they providing other kinds of interaction with the model? You may feel that you're being driven to DRM because of un-ethical members of your sites posting your material elsewhere, but the reality is that porn site operators are also competing against other porn site operators that DO allow their members to download all of the material in a way that they can have it to keep after their membership is no longer active. How many people posting here make DRM the dividing line as to whether or not to patronize a porn site? Many. I understand that it's a drag to have to deal with that reality, but as my favorite pop philosophy song goes, "I beg your pardon, I never promised you a rose garden." I'm reminded of when I started seeing a bunch of zip sets posted everywhere of material from a tease model site that I like. I let the webmaster know. His response, "What else is new? Nothing I can do about it." What do they do about it? They keep on finding things to do with the site that will be distinctive and will make people want to join and remain members. Want to look at how down-at-the-heels adult bookstores are? I've been a member of ALS Scan for a couple of years. It's my favorite site and I can say that I consider the weird insertions and peeing, which many join the site for, a side show. I find myself very happy with the amount of full-body shots and the amount of personality that you get to see of the models - that latter part is the key. People complain about Alex's voice in some of the vids. The fact is that no photographer that I can think of does a better job of drawing their models out, relaxing them and getting them to put out their very best almost all of the time - you can compare many models shot by ALS Scan with their work elsewhere to see the vivid difference. If the price to be paid is listening to Alex's voice sometimes, I'll gladly pay that price. My friendly advice to Karups PC, Jeff, is to re-do your tour, particularly the area related to updates. I don't believe that you're showing your site off to it's best advantage. I was a member for a while, have thought about doing another join for a few months, but when I look at the updates on the tour I don't get excited so I don't re-join. The thing is that I know that your site is more exciting than the updates on the tour implies, because when I joined before, I felt like it was Christmas. I was thinking, "Damn, I had no idea this site was going to be this good!" Somehow, you need to capture that "Christmas" sensation in your tour. | |

The message board at Freeones.com is, flat-out, the most active forum for porn users. The discussion of particular sites is a very minor part of the forum. Their reviews of sites are not particularly good. But they have TONS of discussions of women of every particular type imaginable with members linking to sample pages, so it's a great way of looking for faves and where they might be found. It's different from this site/forum, but also very active and worthwhile. | |

I was contacted by the Karups PC guy, but I considered it a friendly encounter with a webmaster that was looking for honest feedback. I saw the exchange he had with Drooler, and that wasn't so cool. Then there was the guy at Mya Diamond's site who I had to call out here because of their complete lack of response everywhere else I could think of to get them to respond. I agree that a review by someone that has had a bad experience with a site can be valuable, even if the reviewer joined Porn Users expressly to write the bad review and then went on with their life. I feel the same way about legitimate good reviews by people that don't stick around. The spam reviews - "Wow! This site is amazing! I've never seen such hot women! Join - you'll love it!" are not too hard to spot and I believe that moderators are removing those, either on their own or when noted by other members. | |
