I had to write a new review and raise my score 2 points because of dramatic improvements to this site. The VIP section of the site has raised the download limit from 12GB/day to 36GB/day. Previously, the VIP side of the site had only realmedia and realvideo files. They are in the process of converting these files to .wmv, they already have many done. The real files remain as well.
The Digital Xpress section of the site increased the download limit from 15GB/month to 50GB/month. That's good,and they offer .avi, but you can always convert the .wmvs offered in VIP to .avi with a good converter. So VIP is by far the better bargain.
The site has over 7000 videos, and updates frequently. New JAV releases, old and hard to find releases are in their library.
The site also has a huge library of photos (no zip files though), including action, scans, and gravures.
A huge catalog of JAV stars, each with her own section with videos, photos, and screencaps of each video.

This site has really sold me with it's high quality material and very frequent updating. You get 4 brand new sets per day to go along with the massive archive. Photos come in 3 sizes (Roughly 3000+, 2000+, 1024) available in fast downloading zip files corresponding to each size. So many beautiful naked models that not one stands out amongst the bevy of girls. Most Erotic Teens has stepped beyond the strictly teen genre in recent years, but there are no hags here. Some of the sets are nothing but bland statue posing by model wannabees, but with such a wealth of material, it's no big deal to skip past these. As of this review, Met has about 90 videos, the newer ones available in divx, wmv, mpeg, quicktime, mp4 and ipod files. The divx are 1280x720 in size, the wmv 720x576. Naked girls with no hardcore to be seen is what these videos are about. They have a high quality webcam with 7 two hour shows daily where you can chat about anything but sex with the naked girls if you are into that. You can count on one hand top shelf JAV sites available to westerners, as a matter of fact I have a suspicion they are all owned by the same company! However, if you are really into A grade JAV (Japanese Adult Video), Sexasian 18 has a ton of material which is increasing on a daily basis.
The videos are divx avi, 640x480. The download speed I'm getting is about 900 kb/s, and is consistent. 8 GB/day is not a problem for me, but I know a lot of PU's like to go hog crazy with their downloading, so be aware of the limit. There is no DRM here whatsoever. Every video has a preview player on the page to allow a peek before you download the usually 1 GB video. Every video is also broken down by scene for those who don't want the whole thing, or have a slower connection. I do wish they had better screencaps, which here are just a few small size shots. Also, I like to collect the DVD cover with my download, and these are quite small unfortunately.
There are also hundreds of hi-res photo sets, in galleries or available through zip files. A lot of stuff I haven't seen elsewhere.
The models are all first team JAV stars, plus there are newcomers on a weekly basis. The Japanese porn industry is simply huge, it makes one wish there were more sites available.

It's a good thing this site has fast servers, because the video files are usually around 1GB each. I'm downloading them at 1.2MB/S which for me is very fast. The vids are generally 640x480. There is nothing like authentic Japanese porn. There is so much material here, video and photos. The photos have no zip options unfortunately, but they are exotic and original. A lot of the gravure style, and the AV models like Yua Aida and the incredible Maria Ozawa have many sets. The photos come in different sizes, mostly high res. The sets are presented very attractively. The videos here are just astounding, both in quality and quantity. Tons of JAV DVD's, in the unusual (for us) Japanese style. I couldn't wait to review this site because it may be the best one I've seen, and I've spent a lot of time there and haven't scratched the surface. A treasure trove of high class material. Photos go up to 4000px, available in quickly DL'd zips. Browse them by thumbnail or flash slide show. You can rate the sets, and leave comments, and add to favorites. Here's why this is great: there is an option to view what everyone else is picking as a favorite, it continually updates. It's fun, and you find great stuff that way by viewing someone's fave photo, which is linked to the set. It's easy to get lost here, there's so much stuff. The videos are great too, with a hi-def option of 1280x720 (wmv & QT), plus a more standard size of 640x360. You can preview a vid before DL. I'm not always a fan of the softcore vid, but these are very nice. They look great, and BTW, the girls here are gorgeous. So many of them, many well known, others not. Photography and videography is total first class, not some schmoe with a camera. It's fun just to be in the site, the search engine could be better, but Femjoy is well built. This is a difficult site to review, due to the duo membership fees which I will explain in a bit. If you are a JAV collector, this site is an absolute goldmine. I think it's been online since 2001, and as of this review, has 7564 videos of 1865 JAV idols. And it updates daily. I see here videos I have not seen elsewhere, and some of the top idols have dozens of videos in their pages. Most of the JAV girls have photos available also, but this is mainly a video site. I have been downloading like crazy, but haven't even scratched the surface. They have a good search engine, which will search by actress, movie, series, ratings and more. Here comes the strange part: There are 2 membership options, that are separate. The VIP option allows you to download all the videos in rm and the higher res rmvb formats. The rms are 225kb/s, not as bad as you would think--these are only the older vids. The rmvb are 700kb/s. Some people won't like Real at all, I don't mind it for building a library. The Digital Xpress membership is for the divx format. However, it has a D/L limit of 15GB A MONTH. VIP is 12GB a day, I haven't been able to reach that. No limit on streaming. What to make of this? You DL till the cows come home with VIP, but may not like the format. 15GB/month for Hi Q vid is pretty stingy IMO. JSEX is 8GB/day. But the vid library here is awesome. So you see my problem. My score would be in the 97/98 range if it weren't for this duo membership. You have to decide for yourself.

And a lot of these models have many sets contained within. So that adds up to more than you can download. This makes the site a bargain at the price. The models are mostly Euro and American. Too many American porn actresses I think though because at this time the XXX American girl is not top of the shelf. However, you will see American models like Shay Laren! The photos are hi-res, the newer ones I see at about 1600px, but even the old sets will still give you 1024px, not bad for the old days. They are zipped. There are a ton of vids here (2119 as of this review) in the 720x480, 640x480 range. Available in wmv and mov, the stream loads fast. Segment or full D/L. The download speed here is very fast, although some members have had problems, I think the problem for them was one of routing. I downloaded consistently at over 1mb/s for one file, 700kb/s for multiple files. The webmaster is hands on here, there is a forum you should join as he answers all questions promptly and is very open to suggestions and the resolution of complaints. It's plain to seee that he cares about his site and his paying customers, that is always good to see. So for a ton of exclusive material that will have you hogging your ISP's bandwidth, you will not be disappointed if this kind of material is to your liking!

Being primarily a photo collector, I must say this may be the best photo site I've ever seen, both technically and artistically. The first thing that struck me about the photography is that it is well composed. It's not just some guy clicking a camera. The very attractive and young models are professionally posed, and the photographer even uses signature poses that are unique to him, such as having the girl bite her lower lip. Very erotic, you see it in almost every set. And there are not endless body part closeups-in fact there are very few of them. What a relief! I know how girls are different from me, I'm interested in the particular model. However, there is an emphasis on the use of gynecological tools that (for me) is a major turnoff. For those who like this, ALS is your nirvana. The photos are crystal clear huge hi-res (3295px!)very collectible. There is a long page of videos, available in Hi-Def (1280x720)mp4 and(852x480)divx. Even their standard size is large (720x540)wmv, (640 x 480)divx. No hardcore, but plenty of solo, g/g, and the implements! This is a difficult site to grade because with the problems mentioned, it has a ton of very hard to get material. The material (meaning video/film) covers the whole 20th Century. Up to the 1940s, the offerings are sparse, but after that increase greatly in volume. Something like 7500 films all told. These are all derived from the mammoth "Blue Vanities" collection, that you may remember from video stores. (By the way, if you go to the Blue Vanities review here, it just redirects to this site).
The 1970s section to me is the most impressive. You have all the "Swedish Erotica" series, "Diamond", "Pretty Girls", "Dirty Movies", "Diverse Industries", "Screw", "Playmate", "Lasse Braun", "Collection", "Pleasure", and a whole lot more. Back in the day, this stuff cost a fortune, if you had a projector. Back then they were released as silents. Soundtracks have been added here (but not all of them). You will only hear the soundtrack after you download---the streaming versions have generic soundtracks, or even a projector sound no doubt because of the copyright infringements! There are so many of these loops, shorts, and stags that a month hardly scratches the surface.
There are problems however. A lot of the videos are streaming only. I solved this easily by downloading them with the latest RealPlayer, and then converting to another format. A bit time consuming, but worth the effort. Another problem I encountered was mislabeled films. Sometimes the film will have the title in the film, so you can label it that way.
The streams here for me have been flawless. A good way to preview what you want to download. The videos are DRM free. Download speed is average (ie:500 kb/s). They are offered in MPEG, with 2 different sizes: 720x480; 320x240. they do not label their video with technical detail. They have a page where digitally restored films are available. Obviously this is a slow process; as of this writing they have 41 done. Look great though. Forget the photo section---pretty much all screencaps.
Updating has slowed down recently, haven't seen one in 3 weeks. Maybe they're on vacation or something. They claim to still be processing the videos to get them online, which is probably true.
I give this site a high score chiefly because of the incredible hard to find content. If you're looking for that cheap porno thrill---move on, you won't like it. If you are a collector of vintage porn, this is the mother lode.

Pornstar Classics is for the lover of the good old days. If you weren't alive in the good old days, you may find it interesting, but of course the film/video is aged. This site has improved a lot since I was a member a few years ago.
I don't count the aged look of the film/video as a negative, because this is a classic site. Some of the stuff is about 40 years old. Personally I sort of like it, because it brings me back. All the old great stars are here: Ginger Lynn, Annette Haven, Johnny Wadd, Tina Russell, etc. In the old days, this stuff was very expensive, first as film, then early VHS. It was difficult to collect a lot. Now it's all at your fingertips. They have tons of full features, but also a lot of the old "loops", like the Showgirl series.
The main extra site here is Caballero Classics, a great extra. They have a huge library as well, all their own titles. All told, so far they have about 700 films. They only update about 2 films every 2 weeks though.
They only have .wmv available here, but in 3 sizes, the largest being 640X480 927kbps. It's too bad they don't have many photos---scans of the old mags would be great if they could manage it. I'm downloading here at 1.2MB/s. The star index needs to be improved, but is functional.
A great feature of these sites is the Videobox style scene editor. All sites need this.
I give this a high score because the material is so great. Only the old timers may like this site, but newbies may want to check out what Dad was watching!

For those that appreciate erotica and it's history, Color Climax is a must join. If you are prejudiced against the past, you won't like this site. Color Climax is the seminal Danish company that brought the world it's first legal pornography, Denmark being the first country that legalized porn. They were the kings of erotica in their day, and you can see why by viewing their wonderful film and photo archives. They do present more modern material here, but the highlight of the site are the old CC loops. In the old days, these were expensive to buy, and you can download them all here with no DRM hassle. They only come in Quicktime though (.mov and mp4) you'll need Qucktime7 to play the higher res (720x520) videos, or VLC player. Mac users won't mind, and I don't either because these films are priceless to the serious collector of erotica. No one made porn like the old CC. The first thing you should do when joining this site is check the Anya archive wow! As of this writing she has 46 sets there! MPL has a "vision", as long as they also have naked girls that's fine with me, but here it is in a nutshell. They have 3 different set formats. The Artistic Nude, The Erotic Nude, and Lifestyle. DDF has a solid foothold in the world of website porn. I like this site more than I thought I would. Let's get the download limit out of the way first. It sucks. If you do go over, you have to sit in the corner for a day! So you must keep track of your dl totals! For those who collect vids primarily, this could be a problem. Not so bad for photos. The Hi-Res photos only go up to 1350px (1200 for older sets), but that's good enough, because they're great. 1st class photography of 1st class girls. Solo,lesbo, toys, hardcore, it's all included. A little light on the hc. Sophie Moon, Eve Angel & other premium models, mixed with lesser known but quite beautiful models = a great collection of photos, which are provided in zip files that DL quickly. The videos are Hi-Res also (up to 720x400). They provide quality screencaps, and (thankfully considering the DL limit) little 30 sec. sneek peeks of the vids which is very handy. It's a nice touch. The videos look great, but unlike other sites, they are not directly associated with the photo sets, they have their own section. The site on a whole is attractive, and easy to navigate. They update regularly M-F, 9 photosets and 3 vids per week. Maybe they take the models out on the weekend! About the photoshopping or "airbrushing" of the photos. Some of them are a bit much, but I expected worse. Really, it's not that bad, in some cases it looks nice. I'm impressed with this site, and it will keep growing. PS--Some of the model's names are screwed up---but, do we care?

I think John Root is an outstanding erotic photographer, his work stands out from the ordinary porn photographer. He seems to have good control over his models (some photographers seem to let the models ruin the shot), and poses them very well. The female models are usually well made up, and are often very provocative, and Root seems to be able to bring out their nasty side! Most of the models are attractive, with a few being knockouts, but there are some who will make you wonder why he used them. He even has a small section of rejected models, he should have added a few more! The videos are nicely done, and match the photo sets, so you can peek at the photos before deciding to download. Some of the video/photo sets are very ordinary and tame; but a lot of them are smoking! Unlike other "mainstream" companies, Devils Film is not stingy when it comes to offering their product for online customers. For instance, you will not find any of their over 500 DVDs DRM protected. Not only that, but they are offered in full screen high resolution wmv (720x528). They also have a lo-res option. The search options at the site allow you to search for series, porn star, niche or actual title. The DVDs are downloadable by scene. Devils Film is what could be described as a "Gonzo" producer, aka wall to wall sex. No pretentious plots here. I usually don't go for sites that are primarily video, but Peter North is a legend, and one of the few male porn stars who doesn't irritate me. His video work and production has always been top notch, and this site, which updates daily, currently has 195 of his DVD's available for non-DRM download. You'll find, among others, his famous series, "North Pole" and "Deep Throat This". These star a lot of the female porn stars of the day, like Lanny Barbie and Eve Angel (doing hardcore with a *gasp* guy!), and are presented in full screen hi-res wmv (720x528).
