No impression. I was a member for a few months. I saw them with my own eyes. i read the angst of your members. I laughed and cried with them. Many of this site's videos remind me of the old bargain bins in the adult stores. I've said it before---I'd rather you raise your price to $30 and bring in quality videos.

I know this site is the "darling" of all the professional reviewers, probably because of the very reasonable price, but quite frankly, I would rather pay more for higher quality content. There are many videos I wouldn't download for free unfortunately, but it is funny reading users comments about this. Having said this, there are good videos there, and the price can't be beat. Being able to crop the videos to taste is a big plus, and downloading is fast and easy. |

Videosz should go out of business if they can't handle the traffic.
I'm currently a member at Action Jav, a huge library. 1.5 MB/s all day long, day after day.
I'm also a member currently here.
As usual, the speed sucks.
But, just load it up into JDownloader, and do something else.

I blame the the male performers mostly for the sad state of American porn, although I guess it could be said the director is responsible. If you look closely, these guys ruin nearly every single scene. Not enough sense to even keep their hands out of the camera lens.
Also, American porn has become quite grim. Like the 1990's, the women are largely unnatractive, and fake body parts have unfortunately made a comeback.
All these American porn producers ought to study Japanese porn, but I doubt they really care about the product they put out.

The watermark is on the bottom right hand corner, it's not too big,it's the site's address---however, many have no watermark at all. This site is kind of like going back to 1982 and entering a massive porn warehouse! It is impossible to get through this site; yet i can't quit because I'm finding the most amazing stuff.

This is a difficult site to grade because with the problems mentioned, it has a ton of very hard to get material. The material (meaning video/film) covers the whole 20th Century. Up to the 1940s, the offerings are sparse, but after that increase greatly in volume. Something like 7500 films all told. These are all derived from the mammoth "Blue Vanities" collection, that you may remember from video stores. (By the way, if you go to the Blue Vanities review here, it just redirects to this site).
The 1970s section to me is the most impressive. You have all the "Swedish Erotica" series, "Diamond", "Pretty Girls", "Dirty Movies", "Diverse Industries", "Screw", "Playmate", "Lasse Braun", "Collection", "Pleasure", and a whole lot more. Back in the day, this stuff cost a fortune, if you had a projector. Back then they were released as silents. Soundtracks have been added here (but not all of them). You will only hear the soundtrack after you download---the streaming versions have generic soundtracks, or even a projector sound no doubt because of the copyright infringements! There are so many of these loops, shorts, and stags that a month hardly scratches the surface.
There are problems however. A lot of the videos are streaming only. I solved this easily by downloading them with the latest RealPlayer, and then converting to another format. A bit time consuming, but worth the effort. Another problem I encountered was mislabeled films. Sometimes the film will have the title in the film, so you can label it that way.
The streams here for me have been flawless. A good way to preview what you want to download. The videos are DRM free. Download speed is average (ie:500 kb/s). They are offered in MPEG, with 2 different sizes: 720x480; 320x240. they do not label their video with technical detail. They have a page where digitally restored films are available. Obviously this is a slow process; as of this writing they have 41 done. Look great though. Forget the photo section---pretty much all screencaps.
Updating has slowed down recently, haven't seen one in 3 weeks. Maybe they're on vacation or something. They claim to still be processing the videos to get them online, which is probably true.
I give this site a high score chiefly because of the incredible hard to find content. If you're looking for that cheap porno thrill---move on, you won't like it. If you are a collector of vintage porn, this is the mother lode. |
