I wasn't sure what time frame you were asking about. There were about 60 new videos that were added in August-December. There were about 15 videos added during July.

Bottom Line:
Let's be clear: this is a photo-oriented site and I am a video-oriented porn consumer. I'm not a huge fan of clicking through slideshows to see the action. I much prefer to see it in full motion video.
That being said, this is a really good site. There are quite a lot of videos, even if that isn't the primary focus. Currently, there are around 100 videos, both professional and amateur quality. The newer videos are available in very high resolution. Even older videos are available at 640x480. There are very few repeat models, so there is variety. There are also less than 20 videos which feature any anal play (toys or fingers), which was a disappointment.
As I said, I am not a photo guy. However, I did browse through the photo section of this site. On the photo side, there are more repeat models and significantly more scenes. My biggest gripe with the photo side was that zip files are only available after you have been a member for 30 days. In essence, if you want zip files, you have to be a member for 2 months.
I would normally be more against a site that requires you to stay a member for additional features, but the great price for this site makes it more reasonable. Still, as I downloaded most of the movies already, I doubt that I will stay a member past the first month.
For $10, this site is a great bargain for toy and masturbation lovers. There's not a single hardcore movie, so don't be shocked that it's just a lot of beautiful women touching themselves. ;)
Nice catch, Thagnut. I have found this sort of "fine print" regarding DRM to be a symptom of movie studio sites.
Since you were looking at a gonzo studio, I would recommend that you check out Devil's Film, which includes subscriptions to Combat Zone, White Ghetto, and a couple more sites. They don't have any DRM.
I'm also going to try Third Movies soon. According to the webmaster, they are finished removing DRM from all of their movies.
The beauty of hi-def is that it "more than photo-realistic." It shows details that make that "perfect" model more human.
Plus, most of the time, you have to be looking awfully close to see these minor skin blemishes. Do you really need to be searching that hard for flaws?
I enjoyed using IDM with this site for first couple of days. It allowed me to queue up the movies that I wanted and download them in batches overnight and while I was at work. It helps to have a good, fast connection and a lot of hard drive space. Unfortunately, it quit working after day 2. Instead of downloading the file, I got a lot of HTML pages with login errors, even though I could login via Firefox and IE. Since this broke after I joined, I deducted a few points from the score.

Bottom Line:
I really liked this site for the $2.95 full access trial. Join this site for the trial and just download the scenes that you want. They are smart to offer the full access trial because it makes it more likely for me to join for the full month.
There are plenty of high-quality videos available for download. As a minor negative, some of the porn stars only have photo galleries, but no videos. Most have only videos, but no galleries. That doesn't bother me, but I know some prefer to have photos. There is no zip file option for the photo galleries.
There is only 1 download option (wmv) and files range in size from 100-700 MB. I don't mind the size, but this is definitely not a site for dial-up or slower connections, especially since this site does not support server-side download resume. That means, if a download is cut off midway, you have to restart from the beginning.
The other minor gripe is with the descriptions, file names, and DVD scenes. Almost all scene descriptions are cut off midway, but there is no way to read the rest of the description. These descriptions are very detailed, but since they follow the scene, almost all get to describing the blowjob before being cut off. File names reflect the studio, but not the movie title, which is strange. Lastly, even if a DVD is uploaded and the scene is available under a porn star's page, it doesn't always show up under the DVD.
Overall, this site is very good. If you have $3, join.
I'm not sure if this will work, but try the following:
1. In IDM, go to Options.
2. Find the tab for "Site Logins."
3. Enter the address for Devil's Film. Use as many "*" as you can while still making it specific to Devil's Film. For example, http://*.devilsfilm.*
4. Enter your username and password.
Try downloading files again. This setting causes IDM to log in to the download server using your username and password.
Yeah, I've noticed that TBP just checks the site advertisement but doesn't look at the actual content. They include the disclaimer that the site "advertises as exclusive." I understand that they can't check every movie on every site, but I wish that such obvious content (like the Nina Hartley videos) is marked as not exclusive.
It has been a while since I was a member, but I remember using my download manager. I use Internet Download Manager. I really liked this site, so I hope that you do, too.
I have mixed feelings. I like the way the new reviews are shown much bigger, but I'm not sure about showing screenshots for all of the new sites. That seems like a lot of clutter.

Third Movies was actively removing DRM from its videos. However, at last check, there were a few bugs in the system as some videos were offline and others still had DRM attached. Does anyone know if the process of removing DRM is complete yet?

- Unreliable updates: there is an update clock, but it doesn't reflect actual updates; updates are erratic and vary from 0-2 DVDs per day
- Actress names should be assigned by scene and not by DVD. Often the screencaps are too small to figure out who is in what scene
- It would help if file names reflected the movie titles
- Some scenes, despite being downloaded at the high quality level, are very poor quality
- Download speeds varied wildly: as fast as 1MB/sec down to less than 50KB/sec
Bottom Line:
For a giant DVD repository, DVD Box is pretty good. It has a few flaws, such as the unreliable updates and the poor searching for actresses or movies. Also, the quality of the movies (in terms of content) varies wildly from one DVD to the next. There is also a large focus on fetish (latex, primarily) and gay films so that may be a turn-off for some members.
However, despite those reservations, the site is a good deal. I would only join for a month so that I can peruse the collection and download the scenes that I want. Thankfully, there is no DRM, so I can keep the downloaded movies as long as I want. I have found, though, that I usually delete the scenes I download from DVD Box after I watch them, unlike from VideoBox, where I find myself archiving a lot of scenes.
I guess that comparison is inevitable: VideoBox is the 500 lb. gorilla of the DVD archive sites. When I compare DVD Box to VideoBox, I prefer VideoBox for its more frequent updates and newer titles. However, DVD Box does include more fetish and "off-the beaten path" movies. It's good for a change of pace. Therefore, I recommend that you give DVD Box a try.

However, you also said that the updates are in small chunks. Does that mean it takes more than 1 week for a single scene to be updated? Or is it like Ass Traffic/Prime Cups/etc. where a single scene is uploaded in pieces over the course of a week so that the entire scene is done by the end of the week?
