Like most here I prefer to pick my own as I use a pattern. But i isn't a really big deal for me since I also copy all the membership information into a Word document for easy reference - including the date and last file downloaded for sites that I go to regularly.
I always recommend Adult DVD Empire and its sister site Adult Empire. Be careful though since there are two "Adult Empire" sites out there. One is the VOD site and the other is a paysite that must be less-than-reputable since they've been de-listed here and at TBP. The VOD site is pretty obvious and you can best reach it by simply entering "adultempire.com" into your browser.
Adult Empire has a huge number of titles that you can get a 24 hour rental for $1.99 U.S. They have other options too, but avoiding DRM there is costly and not offered with all titles. If you do decide to use one of these sites, make sure to cross-shop them as the prices vary between the sites even though they're the same company. I also cross-shop them against the sites that pat recommended. That way you can be sure you're getting the best price.
I use it a lot to watch titles from the mid-1980s to the mid-1990s when I can't get access to them any other way. If anyone wants some recommendations I've done a few reviews of the bigger sites.
But, as an anti-DRM guy, it does bug me to have to do it this way.
I'm not tech-savvy, but if possible, I think it's always a good idea to offer options. This site is known for large file sizes so having HD only would eliminate customers who have slower download speeds or bandwidth caps.
On a related note, I've discovered another issue with the site. While I've moved beyond the older material on the site (the stuff posted earliest, not necessarily produced first) I'm seeing fewer broken links. I'm downloading the highest resolution wmv files and some, though not many, of those still have broken links. I always try another resolution and sometimes the only one that works in 'AVI Xvid.' This might be a proprietary codec since it tries to download a licence from a site drm.ztod.com, which is no big deal, except that the link to download the licence is broken!!! Grrrrr...
For me, it’s a mix of some of the choices above, but mostly it’s a nickname some friends gave me almost 20 years ago. Some friends and I were on a remote camping trip and when trying to make a fire all the wood in the area was too wet so I told them I knew of a place where we could ‘borrow’ some firewood for the night. All of us went so we could carry enough wood, and since it was dark, in the woods and we were all pretty drunk I took charge and promptly fell in a ditch. Someone declared that based on my military job and the fact that I was in charge I’d be called the Admiral. With their permission, I later refined that to Rear Admiral in recognition that in our regular flotillas of canoes I was always stuck in the heavy one at the rear of the pack and the fact that I have a strong attraction to a certain part of the female anatomy. So it stuck.
One of these friends later told me that of three friends he has with nicknames, all have double meanings referring to the female bottom.
I weighed all the pros and cons listed here and at TBP and took the plunge here today. It seems like a decent value but it continues the trend of studios not doing their brand any justice by having a mediocre site.
The biggest sin here, as noted by several reviewers, is that there are a lot of broken links. Exotics4me noted that you can get around that because sometimes the link to a lower resolution file is still there, but my experience is that if one link is bad, the others are too. There are whole DVDs where no scene has an active link. When that occurs a pop-up appears saying that it’s a dead link with a clickable link to report the problem. But, surprise, surprise, THAT link is broken too. I’m still working on some of the first DVDs posted when the site opened, so I’m hoping to see some improvement as I work my way through the site. But for now, I’m seeing maybe 10% of all links to be dead, which is far more than should be acceptable. Especially since the problem has existed for a long time.
As for speeds, I’m not having any problems there at all.
I’ll post a full review once I’ve downloaded and viewed more, but it does appear that this is another studio that sees the internet as a second-tier way to get their product to the customer.

Bottom Line:
This was an unusually difficult review for me to write. First, vaark’s review style and the things he looks for are almost exactly the same as how I look at and review sites so I had to work to differentiate my review to make it useful. Second, I’m taking a position that is pretty much opposite to what mbaya took in his review. To be fair to mbaya though, most of the things he lists as ‘cons’ are no longer an issue.
If you like public nudity you’ll know that Teasers VOD is in a small class of sites, namely U.S. public nudity. Most good public nudity sites use European models and settings likely because that culture is less puritanical than we live in here in North America. This site is certainly among the best. Other sites have less daring public scenes, and one of the bigger sites (Nude in LA) has managed to remove all titillation from the genre. Teasers manages to make the scene daring and risky and makes the effort to show the girls are nervous about it. Subjectively, this nervousness is a big draw for me.
Being a U.S. site many of the models are porn stars. Some of them are A-list models which is an added bonus. There are many lesser stars here too, and lots of girls who are on the porn periphery. The models are mostly Caucasian, all under 25 and with the typical pornstar body. There are some variations, but not much.
Almost all of the shoots are solo-girl. There are only two with two models. These shoots are far more interesting because of the interaction between the models so I wish that the site would do more of these. Having said that though, the video and photo guys interact with the models during the photo shoot which helps create an atmosphere in the scenes.
As of this date there are a bit over 150 scenes posted. Each scene follows a formula, but the formula does work. We see the model preparing for the scene, there’s some video in a café where there is some flashing, there is a bikini shoot in public and then there is some public flashing or even full nudity. Many models then go to a secluded but still public area for a masturbation scene. I’d normally fault a site for not offering a full-scene download, but in this case it makes sense to have the individual chapters available. They should consider a full-scene option though.
Mbaya noted that there was too much masturbation. While there is masturbation, I didn’t find that it was the main focus. I’m not a fan of solo masturbation so I’d notice if it was over the top, and subjectively I don’t find that it gets in the way. What masturbation is there is still part of the public element of the scene. This contrasts with FTV Girls (which doesn’t market itself as a public nudity site so this isn’t a jab at them) where there is frequently some public flashing and then the girl goes indoors for the main event – masturbation.
As an added bonus for some, one of the staff has a spanking fetish so there is often some light spanking in the scenes too.
The videos are available in WMV (Codec 9) and QT. QT are available in high and low resolution. I can’t give data on the QT files because I don’t know how resolutions are measured in that format, but the high resolution doesn’t appear much better than the WMV files. The WMV files for older scenes is fairly low at 640x480 and 1700kbps. They improve to 720x480 @1700 and by mid-2009 they went to 960x540 @ 3000. That remains the standard resolution.
Pictures are available, with zips being offered. The zips are broken down into ‘chapters’ too, so you’ll have multiple zips for the full scene. The pics come in at 1200x1800. They’re good, but not great. Maybe I’ve just been spoiled by the photos at ALS Scan…
Both previous reviews noted that there were broken downloads. I didn’t experience that at all. Free Download Manager worked flawlessly with this site too. Download speeds were fast at 1800MB/sec (which I think is limited by my FDM settings)
TBP and vaark note that there is a discount that kicks in on your second and subsequent months. I can’t confirm that because I’m not planning to stay for more than a month and my membership confirmation specifically says that it will rebill at the full price and not at the 50% discount.
Updates seem to be more frequent than the last time the site was reviewed. The site now updates three times per week. Also, starting this month they seem to be doing something new called “Teasers Porn Valley” or “Real Girls of Porn Valley.” It’s marketed as a porn reality show though I can’t really see the difference between the new scenes and the old scenes. The same formula is followed, though there is less editing now. I like the new style with less editing.
This is an excellent site in an under-served niche. If you like public nudity, this is site you need to visit.
I'm with the majority here. If the tour pages are bad, then I'm not apt to open my wallet.
This is only partly related to the poll, but one thing that always bugs me and makes me less likely to join is not being able to see what is inside before I join. We've all seen sites where the tour is maybe two or three pages and the next click is right into the join page. I give full marks to sites like Videobox who allow you to see EVERYTHING they have to offer so you can make an informed decision.
I was a member there a long time ago and it may not have even been called Reality Kings then.
The reason I joined was for Captain Stabbin. Can you give me some information on that site? Does it still update? Is it still anal-themed? Does it still take place on a boat? I know it's a personal thing, but I've always liked the interaction between the model and the crew where it's appropriate. Obviously in a plot-based movie (do they still make those?) it wouldn't work, but it works really well at ALS Scan.
File sizes may be a problem for you, but the trade-off is unbelievable quality - for both pics and video. This really is impressive stuff.
I agree that there will always be a subjective element in a score, but as long as a reviewer explains the score then I'm okay with something very low or very high. And honestly, while there is a subjective element in my high score, there is a lot of objectivity too. This could be a site with obese, hairy senior women and I may not like it much, but I'd still have to give credit for the technical near-perfection.
And jusr in case anyone from ALS Scan reads this, please don't start using obese, hairy senior women as models. I was just using that as an example. :-)

It's possible but not probably that I just got lucky both times and signed up when there was a special offer. I susepct that it's a standard offer now. And if it is, you get your wish of both sites for just under $40.

Thanks tangub. I'm not a big fan of the fisting and peeing either. That's a bit strange for me to say that because in other contexts I do have a bit of an interest in those. I think that here it seems a little out of place in that the site is more about glamout than raw sex. But these things on ALS Scan don't get in the way of the scenes and they certainly don't detract from the site.
Thanks for the comments, elephant. I can't explain why, but I'm one of the people who really like the photo shoot videos. I can see why some people wouldn't like them because they aren't as overtly sexual as a video, and I can see that some people wouldn't like the director talking through it the whole time, but for some reason I really like all aspects of these scenes. I like the 'fly-on-the-wall" thing and being able to see the interaction between the model and the camera.
If you go back (and I'd highly recommend that you do) plan to stay a while. The HD video files are huge and look amazing.

The last time I joined ALS Scan I joined specifically for the public nudity scenes. I did that because I really had no interest in anything else they had to offer. I did download some stuff other than the public nudity and when I finally got around to watching it I was amazed at how stunning the models were, how hot the scenes were, and how the site seemed to go out of its way to offer industry-leading resolutions on both video and pictures.
Objectively, the site is as good as it gets. It’s near perfect. It’s obvious that the site owner wants to deliver an excellent product to his customers.
The site offers both video and pictures, and unlike many other sites one doesn’t take a back seat to the other. Both are very well done. The site currently has over 1000 videos on the site, with more being added. One point about the updates is that they are new, as in recently shot, and they are old, in that the site offers older, re-mastered material.
The videos are all available in multiple formats. The formats and sizes vary depending on when the video was shot and uploaded, but it’s fair to say that if you’re downloading a video from 2007 it would have exceeded the specs of almost anything available elsewhere. For the past year or so all videos have been available in true HD. They’re available in DivX and mp4 format (1280x720) and in WMV9 at 1920x1080 (at 8000kbps). I only downloaded the WMV files, and they are amazingly crisp. This is some of the best video I’ve ever seen. HD streaming is also available. HD became pretty common in mid-2007 though not universal until later.
The videos come in several categories: solo photo shoot, solo masturbation and girl/girl. There are several public nudity shoots, but they haven’t added to these in a couple of years. Each year for the past several the crew has taken models to an on-location shoot in the Caribbean. The locations and the models combine with the technical expertise of the crew to create some fun, hot videos. There are also casting shoots in Budapest and the Czech Republic. These aren’t necessarily ‘hot’ but they are a lot of fun to watch. Mixed in to some of the scenes are some fisting (girl-on-girl and solo) and some peeing (but no golden showers).
I’m not a picture guy, but I’ll make an exception for this site. The pics are available as SD or HD and as singles or zipped. The HD size is large (I saw some at 2592x3888) and subjectively they are incredible! Zooming in causes no pixilation at all.
I used Free Download Manager and it worked perfectly. Download speeds were 1850+/- but that may be where my settings are since I don’t know how to change them. File sizes can be huge, so people with download caps need to be wary.
One thing I thought was a nice touch was that they created a separate portal for people who download to mobile devices. That makes finding the material easy.
Subjectively, this site is second to none. The models are stunning. There is a good mix of North American and European models. A-list porn stars are here too. The scenes all look incredible. The lighting, camera work, sound and editing are all near-perfect.
This isn’t cookie-cutter porn – although there are a few broad categories of scenes, the director and models do an excellent job of making each scene feel fresh. It looks like they’re having fun on the site. My guess is that they are.
Is there anything wrong with the site? Not really, but it could benefit from a search function. There is nothing now, and arguably that’s okay since the shoots can be sorted by model. By they should consider adding a search function for things like fisting, peeing and lesbian. But don’t get me wrong – the addition of a search function would only be like an extra layer of icing on a delicious cake. (And since they design and sell their own bikinis, maybe a search by style would be great too.)
Some caveats for anyone thinking of joining – these aren’t negatives, just things you need to be aware of: 1) there are no b/g scenes, 2) 99% of the models are petite, Caucasian and young.
To add more icing to the cake, when you join this site you can get a $9.95 subscription to ALS Angels. It’s a very similar site and I’m not really sure of the difference but it is a nice addition. If I find major differences I’ll post a comment or review if warranted.
The bottom line is that if you like this kind of material and these types of models, you likely won’t find a better site on the ‘net. Be prepared to spend some time here.
