Try talking to a few... I didn't actually say all women hate anal, that would be ridiculous. A tiny percentage can enjoy it, and a few more can withstand it when pressured into it ("if you really loved me you would...") - but seriously, 80+% of BG porn is anal, do you really think that when maybe 2 or 3% in the real world can do it, 80% of porn girls want to?
My wife's kid sister did some porn a few years ago, the typical porn career of one trip out to LA. She hadn't planned on telling the family, but the injuries she received meant in the end she had to, so we know about how the girls are bullied and pressured into it, and about the injections and drugs they take to get through it. If you have any empathetic intelligence at all, you will see most of the time in an anal scene that you are watching a girl in pain or distress - obviously most porn is made by and for men who don't notice or don't care. Sure, at the top of the market they can do it a bit nicer, but it is still essentially the same act.

The single most requested by stupid males who have got their sex ed by watching porn, and the single most hated act by females. That's why you had to give that apologist BS about it being a "gift" from a woman to her partner - if she got anything from it it wouldn't have to be a "gift", would it?

You've made you choice, and like x-art have decided that the mysoginist male market is bigger than the couple/female market. There are a vanishingly small number of sites where is it possible for us to find good erotica without this particular unpleasant fetish, and there is now one less. We can live with it.

Too much anal - we're gone

I'm afraid they've gone too far for us - successive scenes with anal is just too much. We've cancelled membership. A real shame, this was a nice site, but they've obviously decided to change their target audience, and we're not part of it.

We're reasonable people and can agree to differ, but I'm afraid the answer to your last point is "Yes" because the anal was actually done, in handcuffs for caprice you didn't beat the shit out of her.

If it's 1 or 2 odd occasions we'll ignore it. If it becomes regular and attracts people who demand it all the time, we'll be gone.

I'm not saying either of you are mistreating models, but you are getting them pre-mistreated by the likes of Woodman. My favorite all time model is the one you call Lara (there you go using different names again!), and I found a shocking Woodman scene with her where she was simply anally assaulted and clearly shuddering and screaming in pain throughout the whole thing. The scene lacked all humanity or empathy, and really would only appeal to the absolute sickest. I then found her thread on his blog, where he repeatedly insulted her because she had demanded so much money to work with him again - his members suggested hiring "Mandingo" (I can guess...) for a straight scene with her, and then have him "totally destroy her ass" and "finish her off for good" - the suggestion was popular, which sums up the views of those who want to see anal porn.

You have obviously thought about it, and decided that you will gain more members than you will lose by including anal, and in the short term you are undoubtedly right. However, you then have to keep those members, and they won't be satisfied with the odd gentle anal scene, they want more and more. You end up losing more original members. This isn't imagination - it's what heppened on X-art and I hope it doesn't happen to joymii.

Wow quick response - you must be monitoring this place closely!

I have no problem with the 720, I mentioned it as other people do care. I hadn't noticed that the older stuff was all available at 1080 now. I stand corrected.

The ethnicity issue seems to be the case for all the glamcore sites. You should look at JAV porn, it is weird stuff but they have stunning Japanese models, whether they'd be prepared to work for a western company for cultural reasons I don't know.

Anal is a big issue for us, and I'd really rather you didn't go there. Girls are pressured into it and are often seriously hurt or injured, we have real personal experience of it. I'm sure you would never do it like that, but once you start out doing some, even if it is just with a real couple who really do it, it is hard to stop. Look at X-Art - they used to do an anal scene once every 3 months or so, and promised that they only used girls how really liked it and asked to do it, now about 1/3 of their BG scenes are anal. It is hard to believe the girls really enjoy it when, as you say, you can see them ass fucked to oblivion on other sites and you know they have only done that because they are desperate for the work.

Updated: 12-25-13  09:41am  (Update History)
Reason: Increasing amount of anal material on the site
Pros: - Very attractive models
- The site corporate style with brightly colored videos is refreshing
- Stunningly beautiful films, the "joy" in the title is well chosen
- All exclusive content, I think.
- Very quick and reliable downloads, always maxes out my internet connection (around 2 MBytes/sec).
- Multiple sizes and resolutions of photos & videos, although I only ever download the highest. Recent videos are true HD.
Cons: - Earlier material had highest video resolution of 720p, but very good quality. EDIT - see below, all available at 1080 now.
- Little variety of models - almost all white, slim, 18 - 25.
- I was going to say that so far Joymii has held the line against including ugly mysoginistic male-oriented material like anal. Sadly, they have just cracked, and are increasing the amount
- As someone else said, the photos don't quite match up
- Well known models, but all seem to be under different names which is irritating
Bottom Line: Joymii is another very good, genuine glamcore/heartcore site. They update pretty much every other day, not quite alternative photo sets & videos, but more or less. Most videos have accompanying photo sets. It features a mixture of BG, GG and solo material, a fairly even mix these days, all shot with the same bright sunny style.
It doesn't have quite the artistic quality and variety of, say, SexArt, but within its limitations, the films are beautiful to watch. There is some fairly wild sex, but it is all bright and happy looking. My wife generally prefers the BG films here to those on SexArt, this site was her favourite. It is simply reliably very good, with very few duds - I kind of prefer the riskier peaks & troughs of SexArt, but I liked both. We had planned on renewing, but have decided to cancel due to the inceasing amount of anal on the site. These sites need to understand that while anal, dp and similar gross-out stuff might appeal to men on their own, it is a HUGE turnoff for most women, and therefore to most couples. Having much of it will drive the site straight down to mainstream porn, it seems really silly of these sites to rob themselves of their USP.

Definitely. I am a fan of overly-stylized artsy-daftness, and it is well beyond that. Ninn clearly has delusions of being some kind of "artiste". I've just seen a message he posted on a SexArt update a few days ago where he really insulted the members while going on about his "artistic vision" - not a smart move when you consider who has just bailed him out!

Pros: - Very large archive of files going back to 2004, although there are a lot of gaps.
- Very quick and reliable downloads, always maxes out my internet connection (around 2 MBytes/sec).
- Films are very well made and very stylish.
- Plenty of diversity in the models.
- Mostly exclusive content, but some has logos of other sites like Marc Dorcel.
- Multiple sizes and resolutions of photos & videos, although I only ever download the highest available for any update
- Streaming available, again I haven't tried it..
Cons: - A lot of the earlier material is very low definition, as low as 360p. Low bitrate makes it unwatchable on a large screen.
- The website is poorly laid out. New updates aren't clearly dated and the names on the updates are very inconsistant.
- The cross-site advertising is a pain.
- Many of the photo sets don't have zip files.
- Many photo sets are of very poor quality. Many are out of focus, poorly lit, and low definition.
- There seems to be a lot of duplicated material with different names.
- I'm not really sure if there is any actual new material. After joining I noticed that Met had actually announced buying the Ninn archives, rather than the Ninn site, so it is possible that they are just re-releasing old material at higher definition.
- Although it is possible to vote & comment, there are very few votes and almost no comments, so there is no feel of any community.
- There are quite a few dead links and empty tabs in the updates. For example the 2006 tab is empty.
Bottom Line: Michael Ninn is mainly very stylized and fetishistic material, some of which is genuinely artistic. Films and associated photo sets are released together at varying frequencies.

I joined this site as a special offer when joining SexArt. It gave an option of a very cheap membership within one hour of joining SexArt. I did a quick look around, and thought this site might be interesting. Unfortunately I had only seen some Solo Erotica and Innocence material, I had missed the abusive stuff. I'm afraid it isn't really my thing - I am very aware of the nasty abusive side of modern porn, which is why I despise so much of it, and a lot of the material on this site is exactly the kind of stuff I don't want to see. Much of the material isn't just fetishist, it is very nasty, aggressive and often looks very violent. The girls frequently seem to be in extreme discomfort, if not pain. There is a huge amount of slapping, humiliation and abuse. The BG material is pretty much 100% anal, and often shockingly brutal. Having said that, the films are well made and very imaginative and must have a high budget for porn, and I have found maybe 10% of the films which I can enjoy. The photo sets are mostly a waste of time.

I'm not sure how this site is meant to fit in with the other Met Art sites which, except for the mysterious Magiksex, all seem to be done with great respect to the performers. To be honest, the presence of this kind of material made me question continuing with any sites on the Met Art network. They need to be a bit careful at least with the cross site advertising if their network is going to include material like this.

It seems that the material is old, and with no comments or interaction and a somewhat uneven release schedule the whole thing has an air of a neglected backwater. It really is material for the most hardened porn consumer, certainly not for couples, and my wife and I found a lot of it sickening. I won't be renewing the membership.

They're running scared after what happened to Cameron Bay.

If you set a mob of 50 drunken psychos on a girl, with permission to do pretty much what they want to her, something is going to go wrong. This site had untested members of the public slapping, beating, scratching, and even sticking their hands roughly into the girls. They were lucky with Bay in that she had a lurid personal life so they were able to cloud the issue and claim she could have been infected before. If it had happened to another performer, Kink could have been wiped out.

Kink always claim to be very big on consent, although the scenes themselves appear anything but consensual. In these PD scenes the girls have no idea what is going on, and who is touching them - Bay said she was just trying to survive it and it was only when she saw the finished scene that she realised what was happening to her.

They are trying to become a center for the BDSM community, but they have found that they are an embarrassment to it. Most of their material is about violence, hate & rape rather than consensual BDSM, and their audience is misogynists and hate-filled creeps who would never get near a woman let alone negotiate consensual BDSM with her. That's why they are cleaning up their act.

Both these look possible - I knew about EroticaX, but my concern is that the main target of the producers is HardX which is a site I wouldn't go near, EroticaX just looks like something they're not really interested in.

I hadn't heard of Lust Cinema - from the review it looks like it doesn't allow downloads. Is this the case?

Hi RA - with regards to darkness, I was referring to both, not necessarily in the same film. There have been largely negative comments from members on the site about some of the recent material (and lots of positive comments from the staff who know where their next paycheck is coming from). Interestingly, quite a few are from female members saying that they don't like it but are OK with it being there if other members do like it.

I saw an interview with Colette from X-Art in GQ a couple of years ago, where she said that although they were aiming at females & couples, they were aware that the majority of their members were male porn users - and they are coming from years of watching much more extreme material. I think that, in the end, this is why the glamcore sites go downhill. It's a commercial decision, and I don't blame them for it. Unfortunately it means there isn't anywhere for people like us.

Pros: - Cinematic quality films
- A lot of attractive models, many from MetArt.
- Active comments from users.
- Very quick and reliable downloads, always maxes out my internet connection (around 5 MBytes/sec).
- All updates are clearly dated.
- All exclusive content
- Multiple sizes and resolutions of photos & videos. Videos up to 1080p.
- Streaming available - never tried it
- Around 350 films and slightly more photo sets. Daily updates - 3 films per week.
Cons: - Little variety of models - almost all white, slim, 18 - 25.
- Photo sets by and large not so good.
- Rather too many models with tattoos and piercings for my tastes, inceasing number of less attractive mainstream porn models recently.
- Cross-site advertising is a pain.
- Recent site revamp is a big step back, with prominent adverts for webcams in the middle of the screen, and a very difficult to follow and uneven layout.
- Photo sets which come with the films are very variable, partly because the lighting is set up for films and they are obviously done in a hurry.
- The sex is becoming harsher and less joyful. Over recent months almost every scene has had to include something "controversial" - blindfold, gag, ass licking, toilet sex, anal, humiliation, or the scene is so dark you can't see anything anyway.
- The films are becoming far too long. 30 minutes is now common, lots of dark, meaningful guff followed by the kind of sex you don't actually want to watch anyway.
Bottom Line: I am rewriting this review as the site has changed out of all recognition since my last review just from over a year ago. The basic facts listed above haven't changed a lot, but the material they produce has.

This site was in the "glamcore" or "heartcore" genre. They seem to be now concentrating on "fantasy", by which they clearly mean "male fantasy", and the material often now has an ugly edge to it, as though beautiful sex is no longer enough (for us, beautiful sex is ALL).

They release 3 films a week, mostly with associated photo sets, and separate photo sets on the other days. The films are markedly higher quality than the photos. There was a fairly even mix of solo, GG & BG films - for a while there were no solo films, and over the last few weeks it has been almost exclusively GG. For a while the films pushed boundaries of eroticism and getting a real connection and excitement, but now they have fallen back on being controversial for the sake of it, like they don't know what else to do.

The photo sets have always been of mostly much lower quality, often just look like more explicit MetArt photos. Stylistically the photos & films don't match. The are very few BG photo sets, and they are of pretty low quality.

My last review stated that I would definitely rejoin. In the end I took a break and have dipped in for a couple of single months since. We've now cancelled for the final time and won't be rejoining. The films just aren't fun anymore. We watch the early films - bright, simple, beautiful, short & disciplined, and above all FUN, over and over. I don't think there has been anything released over the last year that we have watched more than once. The films are getting longer and longer, and darker and uglier.

I originally joined this site when it was about 6 months old, and absolutely loved it, it did everything I wanted as far as the films were concerned even if the photography wasn't as good. It has been on a long gradual slide since then. I watch erotica with my wife who has a hair-trigger as far as ugly material is concerned, and she just doesn't like it any more. They've clearly run out of ideas and are just pushing down the obvious easy route of nasty sex claiming to be "brave". If you think anal sex is a "Milestone", you're not making glamcore anymore.

I've given the site a higher mark than I otherwise would because it still has the library of amazingly gorgeous early material. Even if you would dislike the current material as much as we do, it is worth joining for a month to get that first year - 18 months of absolutely ground-breaking erotic films.

While the site is still a long way from violent abusive mainstream porn, it is nothing like the beautiful, elegant, joyous place it was. It is no longer really that female or couple friendly, more a place for hardened porn addicts who fancy something a bit classier looking.

All the glamcore site move in this direction in the end - see what happened at x-art & joymii. It seems that a couple of years producing bright, beautiful, female friendly material is about the limit. Then they just become harder, nastier, darker, all in the name of "development" but really just chasing the male porn addict market. Given the state of that market, it seems a strange thing to do. I guess we will just wait around for a new high quality site to appear, and follow that for it's period at the top.

No she didn't write anything grrrrr!

I've just had a look. They've deleted all the negative comments and added a big gushing interview with one of the performers where she goes on about how anyone who doesn't like anal has a closed mind and all that shit. Real stupid straw man arguments.

It's exactly what x-art did a couple of years ago. Bigging up all the anal scenes, censoring negative comments, insulting those who don't like anal.

Funny really. It even the same down to this - a month ago the guy who runs the site said they wouldn't do anal - when they were making this film at the time. Once Colette at x-art said they had one anal scene in th can and wouldn't do any more, and two weeks later released a dp scene! They're the same right down to the lying about it!

Oh damn, this sites gone anal now

I haven't seen it, I'm not at home right now. My wife told me. There's been a bust up on their forum. Anyway we were on a monthly membership so she's already cancelled.

We're not on any sites now. Does anyone know of anywhere for couples who don't want to watch girls getting their asses smashed or are we pariahs now?

Sooner or later all these sites give up on the quality and beauty - it's just too much hard work when the majority of porn consumers only want to see brutality. Fortunately SexArt hasn't dropped its standards yet. I hope you like it!

Maybe it is just personal taste. My tv is HD, but I'm not sitting at a desk two feet from it! I would say that, apart from some comments about color balance, I have never seen any complaints from users on SexArt about the technical quality of the films, but I have seen a lot of complaints on x-art - to such an extent that they had to try to recode some recent films.

Interesting comments about bitrates and video quality on both this site and x-art. I don't know about the technicalities, but I watch these films on a 42" tv and have no problems at all with SexArt films, they look great with the barest hint of pixellation sometimes on dissolve edits. They are up there with joymii for quality and far better than x-art.

Interesting - I hadn't heard of this one, but then I tend to ignore MetArt's emails. It links to the MetArt sites, but when logged on to one of the MetArt sites, it doesn't show as part of the network. Must be new - it goes back to June. My guess is that they will integrate it fully when there is more material.

It certainly doesn't look like my sort of thing, I agree that most of it looks like old Private films. Given that Private is now pretty much moribund, the Met organization may have bought up the back catalogue, along with some other similar sites, and be putting the material out under this banner. This is similar to what they have done with Ninn - I made the mistake of joining that when I joined SexArt, assuming everything on the network would be reasonable. It's clear that they are quite prepared to have other sites on the network that, to put it mildly, don't fit in with the ethos of SexArt.

Thanks for the welcome. I'm on TLE & Joymii too (and, less happily, X-Art & Ninn), and have done a review for TLE - I was waiting to see if this one was acceptable before putting it up.

My issue with the pics is that they look too posed rather than showing real excitement like the films manage. TLE's pics seem to get away from this to some extent. And yes, a greater range of models, particularly age, would be very welcome on all these glamcore sites.

Pros: - Stunningly beautiful cinematic quality films
- Almost all attractive models, many from MetArt.
- Increasingly active comments from users. They can be a bit pretentious, but are often interesting.
- They have promised that they don't fiddle votes, and only block abusive comments.
- Very quick and reliable downloads, always maxes out my internet connection (around 2 MBytes/sec).
- Easy navigation and basic search facilities. All updates are clearly dated.
- All exclusive content, I think.
- Multiple sizes and resolutions of photos & videos. Videos up to 1080p.
- Streaming available - never tried it
- So far, unlike for example X-Art, SexArt has held the line against including ugly mysoginistic male-oriented material like anal.
- Around 200 films and slightly more photo sets. Daily updates - 3 films per week.
- Other interesting material, including interviews with models. After a long pause, these are starting again.
Cons: - Little variety of models - almost all white, slim, 18 - 25.
- Photo sets by and large not so good.
- Rather too many models with tattoos and piercings for my tastes, and some less attractive models recently.
- Cross-site advertising is a pain.
- Photo sets which come with the films are very variable, partly because the lighting is set up for films and they are obviously done in a hurry.
- Recent issue with the Los Angeles operation (due to the mandatory condom laws), which has reduced the variety of material over the last few months.
Bottom Line: This site is very firmly in the "glamcore" or "heartcore" genre. They started off with a lot of heavily artistic material, but are now concentrating on making the sex as real as possible. They release 3 films a week, mostly with associated photo sets, and separate photo sets on the other days. The films are markedly higher quality than the photos. There is a fairly even mix of solo, GG & BG films - for a while there were no solo films but they have made a comeback recently. The films are pushing boundaries of eroticism and getting a real connection and excitement, but the photo sets often just look like more explicit MetArt photos. Stylistically the photos & films don't match.
There is a real effort with the setups and stories for the films, and several have really changed my ideas of what can be done with erotica. The films mostly have good scene setting, and a fun or romantic bit at the end, which make them feel much more intimate and real. I find this much better than a film that is nothing but sex. There have also been two long series of films (Snow Fun and currently The Game) which allow time for a bit more character development.

I particularly loved the more stylized and artistic earlier material - the body painting etc which have been criticised in other reviews. While I really like the current material too, I do find that my favourite films are almost all the earlier ones which is a slight concern.

I must be honest, I love this site. A lot of the films are an absolute joy to watch. Some people may complain that it isn't hard enough, but it is wonderful to see material that is done with such respect for the performers and has no sign of mistreatment or ugliness whatsoever. In fact it is a real indictment of modern porn that people will criticise this site because models don't get mistreated or hurt.

It isn't perfect, and I'm not that impressed by a lot of the photo sets, but they are trying hard, and are brave enough to try things which might be less popular. I will definitely be renewing when my current annual membership ends. If you are unsure about joining a porn site because of what you might see, you will find nothing nasty here.

Stepped up release schedule

I'd let my membership of TLE lapse as the quality of the photo sets in particular had slipped a bit and they only release 2 films per week. However, I decided to rejoin for a month.

The bad news is that the photo sets are still a bit down on what they were a year or so ago.

The good news is that they have stepped up the release schedule. They now do 3 films a week (instead of 2), and release a photo set every day (they used to do photo sets on the days that they didn't do films). So thats 3 films/7 photo sets instead of 2 films/5 photo sets.

I don't think its enough for me to become a long term member, but I'll definitely dip into it more often.

I do agree about some material being so dark its hard to see. Was the site part of Met to start with? I don't know the history, and there are some girls in the earlier material who are on MetArt & SexArt under different names.
I've had a quick look at those sites you mentioned, I do like the style, but I prefer BG material to watch with my wife, BG shot like that would be good. I've done reviews of the other sites I'm on (Joymii, X-art & Michael Ninn), but I don't want to put them up until someone else does one - I don't want 5 successive reviews all by me!

Pros: - Recent material very well made and very stylish, beautiful standard of films.
- Recent photo sets very interesting & original.
- Greater variety of models than normal, including some a little older, and some latin girls.
- There seems to be a lot of genuine sexual excitement in the models, they really looked turned on and I often can believe that they have orgasms.
- Very quick and reliable downloads, always maxes out my internet connection (around 2 MBytes/sec).
- Multiple sizes and resolutions of photos & videos, up to 1080p, although I only ever download the highest.
- Site doesn't seem to time out. When I first joined I stayed logged in for several days while downloading the old material.
- Quite a few Paul Black movies - my all time favourite. You wouldn't believe a film with just one girl in it would be so exciting and different.
- Most films are relatively short - 5 to 10 minutes - and well edited.
Cons: - The earlier material is rather uninspired, and quite a lot isn't exclusive.
- Some of the earlier films are a bit pixellated - claim to be HD but I'm not so sure.
- Rather too many models with tattoos and piercings for my tastes.
- Some of the older photo sets are far too long, with endless almost identical photos.
- The logo on the films is a bit intrusive although it is a bit better on the recent films, the logo on the photos is much smaller.
- The cross-site advertising is a pain.
- It is possible to vote, but there is no comment mechanism so there is no feel of any community membership.
Bottom Line: The basis of The Life Erotic is stylized female masturbation - there is some g/g material but that also concentrates on the act of masturbation rather then regular lesbian sex. These days there are daily updates, 2 films and 5 photo sets per week, earlier there were 4 updates per week with rather fewer films.

I really like the current material, even when it is a bit dark for my tastes or when the girls have a few too many tattoos or piercings, it is so imaginative and well made that I still enjoy it. The earlier material isn't as good. Concentrating on solo female masturbation is a bit limiting, and it obviously took a while to find the right style. The current material is amazing, but pre-2012 isn't great. With 2 films produced per week, this means there isn't a huge amount of top quality material. That's really the only thing I can mark the site down for.

It might seem a bit limiting to concentrate on solo masturbation, but they are managing to make it very varied and interesting with some great scenarios. It may be all solo or GG, but in my experience the scenarios make it genuinely for couples too. Personally, I like to see member comments on sites, although I rarely join in as I tend to be downloading the material a week or two late, and I definitely miss having comments on this site - I think they are missing a trick here as one of the ways to encourage membership rather than piracy is to make a community of the site. I joined relatively recently for a year, and am almost certain to renew.
