Rarely do I have to trim photos from a set - but if I do it is almost exclusively for some mistake on the part of the photographer - entirely out of focus, unintentional motion blur, ridiculously bad lighting / excessive grain (think ISO 4 Billion), or if a position they've thrown the model in is really, really unbecoming. There are some poses that would require the model to be literally anorexic to sit in and not have a beer belly look going on. Bend a primate enough ways and eventually you'll get a beer gut, it is basic physiology.
In generally I don't edit out too much because, for one - I'm lazy, and also you might screw up the continuity of the set a bit. I will occasionally Photoshop photos to remove really bad zits or scars and that sort of thing, being that I use Photoshop professionally it only takes me a few seconds to do that and it makes the models look more like the "perfect" creatures that they are supposed to be.
Due to me being able to modify photos in such a manner, I hate when sites jump the gun on using Photoshop and "fix-up" the photos but do a really shitty job of it (like using the blur tool all over the model's face). It makes them look like they have cellophane for skin. I'd take the imperfect human look over the creepy android look any day.
Porn has become such a big business, that I think the sheer number of people involved protect much of the industry from the few abusive types that are responsible for some of the horror stories of old. Sure, I wouldn't be surprised that there are some models that later really regret doing porn - but I think the majority either enjoy it or are indifferent to it and like the money. I don't think there is much danger at all for the models and while sure some may be doing it to feed drug habits, any harmful events that may occur to them will be outside of the porn arena.
The really extreme porn I think is attractive to fewer models, but those that stay with it really are into it - I think that is the reason you often see the same models again and again, rather than the unending stream of models passing through the standard porn venues.
Still - I believe most models in porn, extreme or not, choose the occupation for its unique pluses: Good cash in your hand the day of for generally about 4 hours work (or less). Great hours, I've seen models complaining about an early shoot of 10 am - plus they usually don't work 5 days a week, though there are many that simply supplement their stripping career with porn. And for a number of models - the sex, many of them do like sex with or without a camera.
That said, I don't believe porn really causes any damage to anyone anymore (though there are exceptions in any business, not just porn). As for religious morality against it, well since I see most religious institutions as the instruments of some of the most horrific atrocities man-kind has commited - well, lets just say I'm not real concerned with their opinions on the subject.
So morally wrong - I don't believe so, no. I good investment of money - as user, nope - it is pretty much money burned - but the same can be said when I buy a DVD from Amazon. Time consuming, yes, very much so - and I'm sure I could spend my time more constructively but it entertains me and I think much of what life is about is finding good entertainment - whatever that may be for you.
To be honest, I've probably only subscribed to about 5 sites that use Epoch - and probably damn near a hundred that use CCBill (far and above my favorite), so my experience with checkout deals has probably been rather rosy by comparison. Still - I'm going to start checking closer on all the trial offers I see on checkouts (up-sells or unsavory swindles) and I'll try to determine the owners. I'm hoping this opt-out trials trend will die out soon when more and more customers start complaining about it online - but I'll report any sketchy ones I see so both users and webmasters alike can be aware of what is happening on the checkout screens.
I too have seen it on Epoch billing pages, but in this case it was BillFame.com, though interestingly enough the trial fee was billed through a different site called PABill.com. They are both owned by Dream Invest Ltd. So I guess they choose whatever name they like, I dunno.
If the billing companies are doing this without the consent of the webmasters that is extremely unsavory, but generally the trial sites seem to be owned by the same owner of the sites that I'm subscribing too, so I'm guessing it is an option the webmaster chooses. I would love for the webmaster to chime in and explain the mechanics of practice - but I'm guessing that probably isn't going to happen.
I just joined this site the other night and while the content looks pretty descent - a collection of DVD scene rips featuring hardcore sex with hairy girls. However this site features an annoying thing that a lot of sites are tending to do these days. When you join up, they automatically have checked on the confirmation page a box to give you a trial membership (in this case to PornAccess.com) for a $1.95.
I clicked the confirmation button and then promptly smacked myself on the head as I realized I forgot to uncheck that box. They just pulled and extra $1.95 out of me and potentially more if I was bad about checking my email and didn't notice that I had to cancel within 3 days to avoid the full $29.95 charge it would recur at.
A lot of sites are doing this and I've been pretty careful to avoid it in the past but I really feel it is an unsavory practice that certainly isn't customer friendly. I don't mind offering me trials with my purchase, but I shouldn't have to opt out of them. So I hope webmasters will stop doing this and I hope users will be very careful about reading everything on the confirmation page before they hit the buy button - or you could get caught like me - or worse...

Each match has 3 wrestling rounds – a side earns points for controlling the other and gets “style points” awarded for sexual molestation of the dominated wrestler. 4th round lets the winner(s) fuck the loser(s) any way they please (usually dominating strap-on sex).

Like the other sites in the 21Sextury.com network – Dirty Orientals immediately grants you access to a total of 33 sites. Considering the site uses exclusively Thai models, it has a pretty large collection near 30 models and over that many scenes – and the male stars are all American.
This is small budget porn; a one camera show with inconsistent camera work but good lighting. The sex has multiple positions and many girls doing anal (even a few DPs). The models mostly don’t talk, but you do hear comments from the male performers occasionally. General the scenes end with the standard finale on the face, but creampies aren’t uncommon. The scenes are often matched with photosets that are quite well done, good lighting.
Like other sites on the network, every scene has a video preview that very useful. The model index is also a good time saver, with photos of the models, but again is site specific. Also most scenes have screenshots too – though the quality is worse than the actual video. The videos don’t have DRM and are near DVD quality, but they use the odd MP4 format. Users can vote on the content and top rated are highlighted – but really most of the content is great and worth downloading.
Updates come once a week (a segment of a scene a day) and are consistent. Downloads are typical of the network at 250kb max – download managers work fine.
If you are looking for Thai porn – this is a very good choice – strongly recommended.

That seems to becoming more and more common these days - Abby Winters does that too - and nearly any site that uses Epoch (also know as billingsupport.com) offers a deal when you cancel too. If I weren't so lazy and tried canceling immediately more often I would probably have saved myself lots of money... To error may be human, being lazy just happens to be our universal hobby.
I think the TBP hasn't gotten around to cataloging all the sites - I've noticed that before when they've reviewed networks in the past. I figure it is a bit of an ordeal to add a site: gotta make the entry, setup the affiliate code, Photoshop a screen shot of the front page, do all the categories, et cetera - my guess is they've got a list and they are working on it.
Though when I wanted to do a review of Futafan on Porn Users here, I emailed the support address about it and it was added to both sites within days of the email. So drop them an email and they might rectify the situation - or perhaps one of the Admins will notice your comment and fix the site then. Anyway - after looking at the network's page - I believe you will get immediate access to all of the 18 (actually I count 19) sites they advertise when you join. I gotta say though, the production quality shown in those screen shots doesn't bode well for the network in my opinion.

On the added New Sites - I've actually see TBP go through pulses like that before - I'm guessing that the rate that new sites are added to their database is hardly random. Probably something brought it to their attention that they missed a bunch of this or that style of site. On the other hand, Humans are expert pattern recognizers so any apparent pattern will show up very fast - sometimes even if it isn't there (that's why it can be easy to see faces in tree bark or shapes in clouds).
It is kinda crazy how many sites get beat up by the accelerator, I almost never use it these days. I actually have to remember to turn acceleration back on when I download from big servers to get a game demo (or a patch from Microsoft - damn their servers are fast!). I know you've gotten attacked on every front and I'm not trying to pile it on. This is just a recommendation I wanted to send over your way. I've been subscribing to porn sites regularly for about 5 years (I only really started paying attention to Porn Users.com pretty recently - my bad.) and while your comment might have been off-hand, it did grab my attention. You said you watched "about half a dozen" videos. Six videos. I can tell you that I have had a number of sites that I've subscribed to and was at first disappointed by their content because my first few batches of videos I download weren't in tune with my tastes at the time - with sites as large as DDF's - I would recommend a lot more time spent hunting through. Hell - the site has over 900 models!
Granted your opinion might not change, but hell - you dropped at least $30 on the site - you owe it to yourself to put their servers to work. The current sites I'm currently exploring, I've pulled near 10 Gigs from them in a matter of days - as fast as my connection is, I still watch videos faster than they download, so I find downloading them en masse is important.
Now I generally think of DDF as a photo production company - back when I was a member of Hands On Hardcore their strength was definitely in the photos - though I still would download the videos as they were super-high res and it was mainly for more content of the models I liked - I haven't been a member for a while though and perhaps the focus on video has increased - certainly in general on the web porn sites are emphasizing video - but I do think you'll also want to take into account that the first thing 1By-Day advertises is "we have 282182 photos" - I think it is only fair to review a site on what they believe is their strong-point. If they are wrong, then feel free to tell them.
So - long story short, try to get your money's worth anytime you subscribe to a site - sometimes you'll get a lemon - but for me, some patience has paid off many times. Frankly I had to apply some patience to the 21 Sextury network you so love - a few sites I was really psyched about really didn't turn out the way I wanted - but I found some other sites I really like. So just take your time, explore thoroughly and THEN review the site.
While I don't actually browse for gay porn - I think the categorization of Gay Porn is already too segregated. If you look at nearly any Heterosexual or Lesbian (just to point out that by "Gay Porn" I mean Male/Male) that is listed on "The Best Porn" it has a main category and then two secondary categories. The gay sites have no secondary listings and are all stuck in the main "Gay Porn" category. Therefore if you are browsing any Niche other than "Gay Porn" you will never run across a Gay site - which is silliness in my opinion. Each site should get two secondary categories too.
With a quick glance at The Best Porn's "Gay Porn" category - I saw that some of the sites were standard DVD sites, others were solo models, and so on. Lumping them all together is a disservice to any users hunting for Gay Porn - I mean they have to sort through 1300 sites! When they might be looking for glamour photography or whatever. I think we can all read just fine and any experienced porn user will be able to recognize a gay porn site from a mile away, so there is no need to shove them off in some little corner by themselves.
So I guess I'm voting for the exact opposite, lol - Gay Porn is just as mainstream as Lesbian or Heterosexual porn, we should start treating it as such. An interesting coffee table book I have is "XXX: 30 Porn-Star Portraits" by Timothy Greenfield-Sanders and Gore Vidal. It features photos of 30 of the most influential porn-stars (according to the authors) photographed both clothed and nude, and many interviewed - quite a few of the stars are male gay porn stars - I'm just saying that Gay Porn is too large and too diverse to be ignored as a small fetish niche these days. If people want a color coding scheme, I guess that would be fine - or even make it an account setting - you can tell the site if you want to exclude certain niches (maybe you don't want to see BBW sites either, who knows? it would be your choice). So offer the users everything, and let them decided to look at what they want to.
The in browser comment is a good point - off hand I don't know of any image programs that take over to resize images for the browser. But outside the browser is a different matter - I find there are a ton of good ones - that resize down on the fly as well as Adobe Photoshop does using bi-cubic filtering.
One of the oldest and best is a program called ACDSee. It pulls up images extremely fast and resizes them flawlessly - used to be one program, now has expanded to a family of programs, with different versions for the users specific needs. If I recall correctly Abby Winters uses ACDSee to sort through their own archives of photos. It is pretty powerful program.
Personally, if I like a photoset - I download it and view the whole set on the hard drive because it gets annoying quickly to have to wait for each image to download. I actually usually use just standard old Windows Picture and Fax Viewer - it is pretty quick and quite good at resizing down.
You know I thought it was you that posted those (good find by the way, I hadn't seen that site anywhere before) but I was too lazy to go check, lol. The preview pages are quite enticing, so I'll probably break-down and join it soon - hopefully after I've explored my current memberships more thoroughly, but who knows - impulse purchases can be an issue sometimes...
Hehe - yeah, I've checked out both of those sites - not terrible but as you said - lacking a bit, I guess the camera work didn't really do it for me. I've also been a member of Teen Filipina - which definitely has some pretty hot girls - but I really wish they used professional male porn stars - it just ends up looking a lot like awkward home movies as it is now.

As a current member, I can say you DO get access to 33 sites immediately (33 includes the one you subscribe to). The second month, you get two more, the month after two more - et cetera - until you finally have access to all 44 sites available.
Each of their sites has a different selection of 32 extra sites they start with, the list is clearly visible at the bottom of the main free tour page. To a lot of people I'm sure it looks like just a random bunch of pictures - but I assure you it is not - that is the list of 33 sites membership includes.
As I stated on the other post - you have to be a bit careful because this list of sites varies and the price varies, so you need to decide which site to subscribe to that has an acceptable price and has access immediately to all of the main sites you are interested in.
Yes, no doubt the next "two sites" each month are by their choice - but they make very clear which two sites those are and give you an up to date count down to when which site will become available.
Is it my favorite policy? No - but considering the wealth of content available immediately, a "loyal customer" program isn't the worst thing in the world. Many sites have employed it in the past with mixed results. I'm not sure how it is working for 21 Sextury Productions - I doubt' I'll keep my membership longer than a couple months, but I don't know - it is a lot of content to sort through.
The quality of the video content is pretty good - I wish they stuck to WMV, but MPEG and MP4 aren't too annoying. The photos, when available - are excellent - but most scenes don't have them which is a shame. If the sites had a network wide search engine, I would rank up there nearly with the Porn Star Network - though that network appears to be considerably larger.
Anyway - I want to make one point clear: When you subscribe you get 33 sites. If you are worried about price, check out my comment on Porn Pass For All, I list all the prices in one of the replies.
Granted I find the 75 rating surprising, considering my experience with 1 By Day's sister site Hands On Hardcore - and I also think that while 21 Sextury Productions is certainly a descent network, Davit's reviews are higher than I would rank them considering the lack of HD, search engines and network wide searching.
However - I just looked through Davit's recent activity and unless I'm missing something, all of the links (excluding one direct link to a preview page) were automatically inserted by the PornUsers.com server. The server will turn anything with a dot com extension into a link, but it will also link directly to the review page of any site name they have a review page for (for example, something as generic as Big Tits Round Asses it will pick up). So, again unless I'm missing a link, I think the Nats affiliates codes are automatically be added by this site. I'm actually careful to go through PornUsers.com now to access any site directly before subscribing so their affiliate code goes through and they get whatever money they get for that.
Now I'm not saying that recommending a different network in the review of a site is in good taste - that sort of "recommendation" should be saved for comments, not main reviews. Ever. And most probably know at this point that I'm indeed a fan of DDF Productions and certainly find the stark difference between the ratings intriguing though not necessarily alarming yet.
Anyway, if I missed something blatant, sorry - I might be oblivious, it has happened before, lol. I just think we might want to be careful before we bring the guillotine down on someone just because their reviews don't match up with our own taste. Many of my favorite movies were panned by critics before release (for example, a lot of critics originally missed that Desperado was an action comedy). Do we need to watch for people promoting the company's they work for - indeed! I hope that can be kept to a minimum, but I guess I give people the benefit of the doubt and hope that PornUsers.com's administrators will be watchful and pronounce judgment when it is necessary.
I think this site has taken a couple of hard knocks recently and doesn't really deserve a rating as low as 60. Granted Denner's comment about the pricing is an issue - I addressed that on the Porn Pass For All page - it is confusing, but a little patience lets you work out the system pretty easily.
nadiencendia's review complains that the models are "unknowns" and "regular chicks" - I think unknowns are good thing and I'm personally a fan of models from Thailand and was impressed the selection this site has. The entire site is dedicated to Thai models and the content appears to be exclusive - I've actually seen that some of the models are also on Asian Apple Seed. Granted SOME of the models aren't that attractive - I personally feel the majority of them are quite beautiful.
If you are expecting standard Japanese or Chinese girls - your not getting that, these girls are distinctively Thai. And at 33 videos (most with photos too) - while it isn't a huge archive - it is reasonable, especially since you get the rest of the network with it. I would say that is very subjective to the body being painted. I'm not trying to be an ass and point out the obvious gender-neutrality of the term "body painting" but rather I think that body painting is used most successfully in softcore glamour photography.
Combined with interesting lighting to throw shadows, I find that body painting can be great with very fit models with visible musculature that is accented by the shadow play and intermixed with the painted designs. Also female models blessed with long nipples really look great with full body painting as it instantly points out (har. har.) that the model is nude and the design was painted on.
However, if the body painting is done messily as in models applying paint to each other or the sort of lack-luster designs people use at raves or what not - then I'm not really interested beyond the standard "hey - that person's naked!" response.

Bottom Line:
DP Overload immediately gets a nice score for being part of the 21 Sextury.com Productions network. However, this site – though perhaps a bit small – can easily stand on its own. The site provides content featuring double penetration (vag/anal) with one girl and multiple guys per scene – no exceptions. Double anal and double vaginal are not uncommon.
Every scene has a preview that you can view and the site model index lets you browse through each model with photos that clearly preview the model’s look. With no DRM and multiple connections allowed, this site is friendly to download managers – but don’t expect fast speeds (250kb/s seems max). When the site has photos – they are large and very well photographed, but most scenes don’t have them.
The video itself is somewhat variable – while the resolution is always the same – the camera work isn’t always consistent and lighting can sometimes be an issue. It appears this collection is provided by multiple production teams, however most of the scenes are quite professional and the screen shots (when available) look worse than the real video. Users can vote on each scene (1 to 5) and the top scenes are listed – but it is worth the time to check out each scene – as some hidden gems could have been missed.
Despite updates being stopped, this is a wealth of good DP content and the fact that it has 32 other real sites included with it makes DP Overload a respectable site worth a visit.
