Agree with much of your review of SE, Goldfish. This was my first pay site too. I would add though, that whilst many of the older movies are lower res, they are often some of the best quality action.
Probably my favourite movie from the whole site is the threeway between Johanna, Kellie and Nina (who I've discovered goes by the name of Lucy Lee elsewhere). This is quite low res by today's standards, but have you ever seen 3 babes so into each other's bodies as those three!
Conversely, I find some of the newer movies to be very decent res and widescreen, but the action is often dull by comparison.

Interesting. I re-joined Sapphic Erotica a few months ago (just for the second time) to get some updates, and was a bit disappointed with much of the newer material.

Sapphic Erotica, the first site I ever subscribed to, is still one of my favourites. The movies - featuring young, natural European girls (not loud crass American ones!) engaging in twosomes, threesomes, foursomes and sometimes moresomes (!) with lots of sensual kissing and feeling, but also explicit cunnilingus and dildo penetration, and often analingus too. Wow.
The movies are also generally well produced, with good lighting and 2 cameras to capture multiple angles (lesser sites seem to only have the one cameraman moving around).
If you've never joined before, and love the lesbian genre but don't like the degrading talk you often get on American porn sites, then I would highly recommend this site.

Having re-joined after being away 6 months or so, I have to say the updates I grabbed are generally of the highest - hottest - standard. This site did let the quality slide for a short period, which generated many comments of the 'not as good as it used to be' variety. Happily, those comments are no longer justified. You could say this site licks ass!
The addition of a new search engine is also welcome - search by genre (oral, anal, 3-some, etc), hair colour, pic, vid, etc. The search engine is not perfect, but it's an improvement nonetheless.
You can also vote on each movie and pictorial. It is a bit suspect that many of the more average sets have a '10' vote, until you add your own and it plummets. I suspect the webmaster has cast his own votes. Still, all in all, a fine site once again.

We've all been ripped off, or bitterly disappointed before by substandard content that doesn't live up to the tour, so by writing about our bad experiences we can save others from doing the same!

Well, that's an interesting question, as when I came to look at my Sapphic harem folder yesterday (before I decided to delet it), I was reminded that I hadn't downloaded a single picture set. Now, since I love picture sets, I can only conclude that this is either because:

Firstly, yeah, *generally speaking* the updates come in pairs of updates for couples (each the reverse role of the other in terms of recipient) or if it's a threeway then there tends to be 3 updates, where each girl has her turn at being the recipient of the other two. They tend to be not very long - although there are some that go up as long as 11 minutes, but these are in the minority. The shortest one I have is 2mins 11 secs, again in the minority. I'll amend my average to maybe 8 minutes (but that's a best guess - don't expect me to go through my entire collection and work out the exact average, please, I don't want to get pedantic).
Bitrate seems to be mainly 521kbps/320x240. There are also a handful (on my hard drive at least) that are twice this (1060kbps/640x480). This surprised me when I checked this just now, so I played a couple to get a fresh idea of how they look, compared to the many other vids I have. And, very importantly, they *look* much lower res than the stats would suggest. One possible reason is that they've come from a lo-res source - or possibly that the conversion software is substandard. This, of course, is pure conjecture, I can only speak objectively about how they physically look when played. And they do look quite low res and grainy - although, as I said in my review - still watchable.
Your final question about orgasms - in all honesty, I'm not convinced that most of the orgasms portrayed here are genuine. As with most sites, there's little or no evidence of real white 'girl goo' to be seen (the only definitive proof of female orgasm really).
