Please realize that some models will be better at this than others and we will have to adjust our filming to what the models can handle.
Could I reassure you and your models that quite often if a model is trying to be like this and doesn't do it so well...that can be the biggest turn on of all...nothing sexier than a model who is innocent of certain things like this which suggests a freshness...
Having said that, when they know exactly what they are doing...that works too. The eyes can tell you this...
To be honest...with the standard of your models no matter how well they do they'll still look jaw-dropping gorgeous...

I hope that my comment was taken constructively...which if I read your reply is Yes...
I love ALSSCANS.COM and ALSANGELS.COM and I think you have every right to hold that top position in the ratings...and what is amazing is that your format and site layout has never had to change to maintain your status as a WORLD leader in QUALITY...You have no contenders in that respect and do stand alone...
but, and I do agree with you that your more recent stuff is introducing more of the lead up...but can I take the opportunity to elaborate a little on this point...and this is only my guess on this...
I believe you prep the girls for the shoot on the basis of the main event...so the girls and the photographer are counting the clock to that point where the lube is applied and the clinical trial begins and I guess the models are thinking you are paying them top $ for that shot...not realising that the build up can actually be sexier, and holds a higher $ value. Yes, we do want that shot but the girls should be encouraged on the shoots to think of the sexy build up because it is a VALUABLE part of the shoot...
Out of interest, I've been a member on and off for over 8 years (maybe longer?) when you 1st introduced Jade Hsu to us...and I know I will be a member again many times over... so can I ask a candid question...who directs the shoots and wardrobe...if it's a woman because you find that with a woman involved you can get the models to relax more, could I suggest that you get some male input on at least wardrobe, not slutty or sleazy..there is plenty of that elsewhere, I'm talking about sexy with respect...
There are occasions where you do things like get the girls to wear the mesh bikinis and get them wet...these shoots can be very sexy...again big heels can be good. the walk is nice but get them to pause and move the camera around the girl to appreciate their amazing bodies, and FACES - EYES & LIPS (which can be the sexiest thing). starting with a girl already lying on a bed waiting to be examined does not arouse me...I feel I am a connoisseur who appreciates the beauty of the female body, and to fully appreciate it I want to see it move gracefully without any rush...and I believe when you do this you will tap into the soul of these girls and bring this to the screen... you don't get everything because ALS has one of the largest collections on the planet but you do get a massive amount of material...and the quality is some of the best.
The site is a simple two dimension...click on model info on the left of the preview page. that list is accurate as it is the same list inside. For each of the girls, you have an average of 3-6 photoshoots and between 1-6 vids. Some of the newer vids, maybe 50-100 of them are HD, a single scene can be 1 GB. The vids are taken at the time of the photo shoot so if you like the photos you'll like the Vids...In the vids you'll see things that are normally not in the photos like the girls lubing up ready. The thing I wish they'd do is animate their scenes a bit. Get the girls to dance strip or just walk around with Camera following...they tend to go straight to the bed,sofa legs behind their ears, with the honary toy buried where the honey grows...
I think the release relates to the Vids generally because you tend to see the Photo shoots then that gets the members to request the vid. There is a lot there and you will feel like you've overdosed when you've been looking at it for a while. the format is very repetitive. Having said that while I was there I downloaded over 140GB of vid, 40%/60% split for HD / DVD. If you like the girls in ALS Photo shoots these are Vids you need...just be ready...I wasn't and when I saw what was available I did feel like a kid in a Candy Store...
I have yet to try ALSANGELS because I do want to get some of Jade's stuff when she was still fit and that sister site holds the elite of their model stable...
Have fun, but buy some blank DVDs you're gonna need them

Why do they assume that we want to start the pleasure of our viewing with the girls already naked, already sitting down/lying down, dildo already lubed up. I know I've made some criticisms above,, which makes me sound like a spoilt child, but hey, why go and get some of the most beautiful models (and there are a lot on the site) and not take full advantage of them. And on that note. It would be nice to see a bit of hardcore on this site. A lot of these girls do hardcore, and with ALS HD quality DVD you'd be blown away.
My bottom line is, awesome girls, theme a bit too repetitive but you can't get bored with something until you've over indulged, and for every dollar I spent on my alsscans subscription was VERY well spent.
This is a site I know I will join again and again in the years to come. |

Oh Boy. You'd better make sure you are ready for this site. Seriously, the GIRLS are unbelievely gorgeous and unbelievely Slutty. I was a member of GiveMePink when it first started and I think they had about 40 girls. I just wanted to say, thank you for pointing out these things to me. Don't get me wrong, I love the sites, but I'm getting use to the format and it's not distinct enough to distinguish it from its peers, ie. clubsandy, pixnvideo, 1by-day, teendreams.
What I was getting at was that the crispness of the video you see at Alsangels and Alsscan is very distinct for them, it's their signature and their format for shoot is unique.
like met-art or hegre have distinct signatures...
BUT ultimately...they do have the right girls...which is why I joined. because I thought I might find some new stuff I hadn't seen before...no regrets but I'll pick another one from the top reviews for my next membership...No mistaking that TBP and PU are helping me find the sites I like though...

A lot of the content is getting old now...I haven't found much new stuff.
(but the plus is the copy here is the best I've seen for the older stuff, so if like me you are sentimental for some of the older shoots, this network is a good place to be).
I get a sense that this site and its bonus sites were built on the success of their photoshoots.
I've changed this part of the review after reading what PinkPanther said in his reply.
Some of the extra sites are collections from other bigger sites so this padding is a shallow offering. This along with sexy-babes.tv and eurobabes.com are the best of the network, but I found it hard to find new stuff amongst the old catalogue stuff and I'd like to see move videos of the photoshoots that are available. Great if you only after photos. Unfortunately I want video.

This site has drifted from being a market leader to a mid-market position and will have to work hard to regain that status again. I like the layout which is easy to use, but the format of the content is not fresh and new, format is like 1by-day, clubsandy eetc. There is nothing fresh about it. At the same time it's not stale, but it's no longer setting the standard anymore.
I don't regret paying the membership, but this is not a recurring membership for, time to move on. I've been here for 3 weeks.
I would expect this site's Score to start to erode away as other sites present fresh content & new models.
What can they do to recover...invest some of that money they've made and get the original models back (some of them, the most beautiful girls on the web) and do some new shoots and true HD video, not the badly labelled stuff they are claiming...I do think pornusers.com needs to revisit the score for this site, especially when other sites like alsangels.com & alsscans.com are doing a much better job of keeping themselves at the top...
finally. thanks for pointing out the errors in my review PinkPanther. Happy to hear constructive criticism...and more than happy to have paid for this membership...will try it again at a later date but I don't expect to be a recurring member for now. |

can I just say that Drooler's review is far superior to that done by Toadmix...and this leads me to a question to you guys as Webmasters...
This may be impossible to do and is a tall order but I think as an enhancement to your site, I think that if you as the Webmasters representing PU and TBP, could nominate reviews that you and us other pornusers value as the best reviews can keep as the best review somehow near the top of the reviews list...
Alternatively, we could have a forum thread where PUs and TBP could nominate the best reviews on PU...so others can refer to them as the benchmark, otherwise you will continue to have mediocre reviews like the one that Toadmix has done...
When I do a review myself, I have a different (unique) style to mine which is natural to me to write...but I can honestly say that my reviews take me anywhere from 1/2 hour to 1 hour to think of and write...and I'm guessing that Drooler has put a lot of effort into his, as well as others like Taodsith...
I just think there are hard workers here and easy riders...
Just a view but one I felt I wanted to share with you guys...
PU and TBP are great sites and the effort I spend inputting to your site should indicate to you that you have my loyalty, and I would imagine looking at the other player, much bigger than me, but Toadsith and Drooler come to mind spend a fair amount of time on your site aswell...
By the way, this is my 100th reply, and I chose this as my reply because I want this anniversary to be a good one for me...

It does sound like it. I do favour the European girls. There is a sense they are prepared to just get down to it and yet they are beautiful, tend to be a bit more genuine and deep down they just love getting sorted out as opposed to most american pornstars who, probably because they get paid more, turn themselves into business women.
If ever I'm looking for someone I use sites like eurobabeindex.com or cduniverse.com to identify film titles then search for those. Helps me make decisions over which site but I have to say this review site is superb.

This site should just rename itself Dasha & friends because at the end of the day, what is the critical mass reason everyone becomes a member, DASHA.
I'm not sure if I can say this as a Pro (Good) thing for the site and at the same time sound so shallow. Dasha has the most perfect breasts on the planet, and if we found life elsewhere in the Universe I'm sure she's beat them hands down.

Hi-Res Photos but sometimes that just means big photos. These are different. They are so crisp, you can see the life in them. Sharp.

Okay, here's my Bad points on this site.
this is a new site. the Photosets are Sharp. Look like they have been taken with Highest Res setting on a Professional Digital camera, by a photographer who knows lighting and obviously appreciates the female form.
So you really scratch your head when you look at the video. They either don't exist (Dasha, you should slap the photographer, he's giving you a bad reputation on this site) or they look like they've been done on someones cell/mobile phone.
Come on. This is 2008, get the HD-DVD files uploaded, especially Dasha.
Updates: I think in my month of membership I saw 3. Talk about tight, sorry, that wasn't the kind of tight I was looking for.
Dasha, we'll give you the money, buy the Site and we'll run it for you, you deserve better.

The best thing they do is the most dangerous thing...they potray themselves to be better than they are, and I was caught by the trap. Their preview page has their best girls on it in good size photos.
