I do think the site is more worthwhile than the vast majority of sites these days, but what you were seeing was the webmaster catering to his own fetishes. This is where the repetition comes in. He's not near as bad now about it though. I had never seen a promo from them until that one on another site. There are a lot of ifs with the site. If the navigation was better, it would probably be easier to find the sets that would interest us, but we're in a long, losing battle with stubborn webmasters on that part.
I'm not for sure on that one. But it's the point I was making. If he's going to just have one update per week, what does it hurt him to post the high superpics of every set instead of the 1600 high end ones? Would it really hurt his profits to offer past members a slightly lower price knowing he only updates once per week and there wouldn't be much new for them to download? As it is, I'm bumping it back to joining maybe once every two years. I do know the webmaster can be a jerk. If you haven't seen that look up how he talked about Eufrat and complained about her "poor English" knowing good and well when he hired her she wasn't a native English speaker. He went as far as leasing that set to other sites and went on a rant about how he would never hire another Euro model, seems like he called them "fake, plastic, robotic". His comments on Danni Yeager's sets were also bad. He blames the models when the sets don't go how he thinks they should go.
A big part of my overall liking of a model comes from either pure confidence in herself or pure innocence. These newer models seem to have neither. I think they may be trying to cut back on costs by hiring the truest amateur models, right off of college campuses. Most of the girls are cute at least, but their personalities are poor once on camera. They set such a high standard in those earlier years and I do think that is the biggest problem they have now. If they were a new site, say just for the last 2 years, I would probably be talking about how daring and risky their sets are. Compared to their past work though, it seems like they are just going through the motions.
I do think they are doing quite a bit of public stuff still. It maybe isn't as blatant, like the Paola Rey ones were, but it seems like nearly every model now has at least one outdoors/public video. They are going with a lot of more athletic ones with the athletic girls exercising in parks, flash here, flash there, some will just take their clothes off and keep exercising. Those really appealed to me, but a lot of times the model herself didn't. In your case, I would still recommend it. Seems like I remember you saying you didn't have Cayton Caley's "garage" set, if I lost that, I would rejoin just to get that one set. If you do, she is listed as Candice.
I agree about the hidden gems. I remember when I downloaded one model, not realizing it was the eventual hardcore model Tiffany Taylor. Think her name was Celeste on FTV. My favorite model on FTV though has always been Melia or something like that, very old set, Hawaiian girl, who flashes while pumping gas and has her first squirt while masturbating. I don't think she has any other model work except the sets on there and the innocence of her squirting set really was impressive. She looks not only shocked when she does squirt, but almost embarrassed, maybe even a little scared. I gave up on their lesbian scenes. I always like seeing those now hardcore stars in the softer sets, especially early in their careers. One of my favorites that I forgot to mention is the Tiffany Taylor (Celine on FTV) shoot. I didn't even realize Jana Jordan was on there. I'll have to go back and get those.
I can see the use of a highlight video as well. And I even like some of the interview parts as well. Though the interviews are always teetering on tedium. The camera angles could be a bit better too. There is one video I was watching earlier of a model on the FTV toy. It seemed to be a perfect position for at least a minute or two of filming her butt, but the camera stayed in front of her the whole set.
By scanning the update logs it looks like the 1440x1080 videos started around December 2007. They also have remastered some of the older videos as well, but there are still some of those older ones that are fuzzy looking. I would estimate the last 100-105 models have been 1440x1080. There also are a lot of models I've never seen before.
Hey nygiants03, I ended up disappointed in the videos of Lenka/Eufrat. One of the biggest problems with FTV, the webmaster leaves comments and talked about how she "Just went through the motions in the video" and maybe that ruined it for me. She still looked great in it and the quality of the video is the best I have seen, very clear. I have always thought her best content is on Evelyn's World, Evelyn is quite sexy as well. I did lower my score a little on FTV MILFs as I thought it was very good but not as good as it was in the earlier days of it. I don't think there's much comparison between FTV MILFs and Zishy. Back in my very first review of Zishy, maybe in 2016, I talked about how the photo style, the settings (I'm a native of the west coast and know a lot of the locations) are very similar to FTV and there for awhile, the Zishy sets used to link to FTV when they shared a model. I haven't seen those links lately but Zishy does have the new style navigation which could have messed that up.
FTV MILFs is a lot like FTV Girls. There was a Black Friday special combining those two for $19.95/mo. There's exhibitionism, there's flashing, it's tamer than it was years ago but it's also less tame than Zishy. FTV MILFs brings in what I called "hardcore masturbation", big toys especially and they have the small hardcore male/female sets. I think Zishy is superior in photography to any site on the internet. Part of it could be my familiarity with the settings. His use of shadows is the best I've seen.
As for Zishy vs FTV Girls, that's a tough one. FTV Girls to me, if the split videos don't bother you, is in my opinion, the best porn site on the internet, especially at current time. I had meant to get back to this since you mentioned standalone site. Did you ever get the bonus sites with Fucked Hard 18? When I was a member, there was a link to bonus sites, but all that was on it were a bunch of links with no descriptions of what I was downloading.

Sorry about the delay on the reply. I've found that my views of body types are a good bit different than a lot of porn fans. I'm a huge fan of Cindy and Tia, but always considered them slim. And you threw me off on the Isis Love one. It's an easy to make mistake since it's Isis Taylor, a little lesser known model than Isis Love. And I do agree though, the Isis Taylor scene is my favorite on the site. I think the webmaster of the site tries too hard to stick to that 18 at the end of the site name, which is why so many of the models are of slimmer build. So that's a really big difference and glad you mentioned the connectivity wizard since I hadn't ever seen that on any other site and hadn't ran it. Once I ran it, it recommended North American server, ultra-hi photos and the 6000 bitrate videos.
On the ones I had downloaded that I commented on in the original comment, those were older games, namely the first 2 with Cindy Hope in them and I ran into the 600-800 kb/s speed on those.
I will edit my original comment to add the tip of running the connectivity wizard. Knowing most porn fans are like me and anxious to download, I bet a lot of members just look over that wizard. Me personally, I don't think a "shorter" version is needed. I do watch the full scenes at least once and fast forwarding isn't really a hassle. Even if a shorter version was available, I would still download the full version.
As for Hungarian models, it can be a bit confusing for us American users since some models are listed as Hungarian on some sites, then we'll see them listed as another nationality on other sites. A few that I know are Hungarian probably wouldn't fit the style of content you all have since they only do girl/girl scenes like Eve Angel, Sophie Moone and Sandra Shine. Heh, I never figured out much of anything on the site! I ended up leaving the site after the 3rd day of the 5 day membership and not going back. I think things are also becoming more dicey about who owns the billers. One that's plainly-obvious, any of the Fame sites (100+ sites), bill through Fame Cash, so they're doing their own billing. It's a little harder to tell with Probilling, but they are the only biller used by Mind Geeks, the owners of Reality Kings, GFLeaks, Brazzers and over 100 more sites. One of the best examples I can give is Twistys. Once renowned for its content and its customer service. It was bought by Mind Geeks and Probilling became its biller it has since fell into obscurity with hundreds of complaints about cross-sales, difficult cancellation, and just general billing problems.
I find my frustration with the biller to be terrible since I'm usually very patient and even methodical about the signing up process. On a side note: I join Reality Kings several times a year and have never had a problem with Probilling through Reality Kings. I think it could be the programming of the different sites that causes the problems.
If you look at the numbers, it's hard not to believe Mind Geeks own Probilling. Mind Geeks owns 133 sites. Probilling is the primary processor for 146 sites. In comparison: CCBill is the primary processor on over 11,000 sites and Epoch is the primary for over 6,000 sites. The one good thing I can say about them is they accept Visa prepaid cards and most billers don't.
My feelings towards ProBiller are pretty simple. If you look at their FAQs, you'll see things like this:
Customer: I only signed up for a trial but got charged for a full membership.
Probiller: Depending on the package selected, there may have been additional upgrades to your membership.
I mean, really? Someone signed up for a trial to a site and ended up with additional upgrades? Another...
Customer: I cancelled my account; why am I still getting charged?
Probiller: It is possible that additional membership packages may have been selected upon signup that you have not yet cancelled.
I don't know about you, but when I sign up for an account, I would think canceling that account, would stop any other charges. Notice the wording of "may have been selected upon signup", which would imply the customer hasn't even realized it.
