I agree with you that NVG has really improved over the past few years. When I first joined this network maybe four or five years ago it was my least favourite site there. But my opinion of it has changed pretty much based on the same reasons that you note in your review.

I took off for the download limit as I really don't like that. Dracken mentioned that you can get the videos on Evil Angel without limits and you get a whole network of other content as well.

Just joined this site, which as others have said hasn't been updated since about 2013, and found videos can only be watched in their 'JW Player' browser window. No way I can find to download anything.
This angers me as I never join streaming-only sites, especially tiny ones.
Anyone else found this?

Great review! Made me check it out and looks like everything is on point. I love the quality/camera angles judging from the landing page. The camera angles on the oral scenes really got me on the verge of becoming a member.
I saw you mention there's girls to everyone's taste. One thing I didn't see on the front page where black/ethnic girls. I wonder if the member area contain some scenes like that as well?

Valid points. I'd likely sign on for that rate. The drawback for LP would be that many subscribers wouldn't keep recurring membership but would join occasionally to download the scenes posted since the last time they joined. But it would still be very profitable for them. And I agree that the ticket system probably prevents some people from 'joining' who would otherwise take a membership.

You're right. I believe they do dole tickets out 40 at a time every 30 days. So if someone was in a rush to buy a lot of scenes, buying direct tickets would be what they'd need to do. It's just a much worse value.
It just occurred to me that part of their calculus for not offering memberships with access to all videos may be an effort on their part to discourage easy pirating of all their content.

@elephant and @rearadmiral - which is why I have never joined LP: it's too expensive and could be highly addictive. However, I have a collection of about 150 LP movies and it hasn't cost me one cent (yet). Sure, they're not 4K movies, but I can live with that. I am finding these movies quite boring recently: same scenarios and someone described it perfectly: a "circus act".

I suspect that they are already raking in huge amounts of cash with their current business model which gives them little incentive to change it. They also show no signs of any kind of decline that might otherwise cause them to try something new.
Bear with me while I make some completely uneducated assumptions.
The latest Charlotte Sartre scene is currently showing about 55,000 views. I highly doubt that means that so far 55,000 people have bought the scene. I suspect that number is how many people have accessed the page or watched the trailer. My biggest assumption is on the number of people who then buy the scene. Charlotte is a big-name American star so I’m guessing that a conservative estimate would be that 5% of people who access the scene buy it. That would mean so far that 2750 people have bought it at approximately $5.50USD for a total of just over $15,000USD. I suspect that amount probably has them in the black on the scene already. But remember that the scene just went online yesterday so it still has lots of legs in it. I plan to buy a copy but just haven’t gotten around to it yet. Truthfully, I need to add some tickets to my monthly allotment before I can buy it. The Aidra Fox scene took the last of my tickets.
But look at another older scene that probably also generated a lot of interest – Samantha Rone’s first double anal that was uploaded in August 2016. That scene currently has views of 230,000. Again assuming that 5% of viewers buy it that means the scene (based on my uneducated assumptions) grossed approximately $63,000USD. (I had to assume a 5.5 ticket requirement because I bought the scene when it came out so I can’t see the ticket cost for it any longer.) Even if they paid Samantha properly for that scene they have definitely made a lot of money off of it.
I suspect that in choosing the two scenes that I have I am slanting things a bit because these scenes were probably bigger draws than many others. But it’s also possible that my assumption on uptake is low and maybe 10% of viewers buy the scenes. That doubles the gross for each of them.
Not to drag this out, but I think a good comparison is between Kink.com and LP. Kink is clearly in decline. They still produce some of the best BDSM porn available but it seems to me that it is a sign of decline that they can no longer sell memberships to individual sites but now bundle them as a network. If LP is generating the interest that they are then there is lots of life in their business model yet.
But like you, I definitely wish there was a one-price full access membership.

Hey Elephant,
I think Rocketpay is okay. I don't like that they want you to use the "remember me" feature, which recognizes you if you join a different site that uses Rocketpay and tries to pull-up your past payment info. I'm sure they're trying to be helpful, but the last time it pulled one of mine up, it was a card that expired in 2012.
I don't know exactly how credit card processors work these days, but I do know that they charge a fee for their full-services. The sites lower their costs by having the sign-up and cancel pages on their sites, instead of having separate CCBill sign-up and cancel pages. It also allows sites to include things like surveys when you go to cancel. Mano Job does that. It's five basic questions like, "What would you like to see on our site?" and "How can we make our site better?"
The cancellation link is on the main page of the site at the top. You'll see "support". When you click it, the drop-down menu comes up and has "cancel" as an option. From there you cancel just like you would on CCBill or Epoch and they do send a cancellation confirmation email too. They seem like pretty decent people. I posted a comment about one of their sites being broken and they had it fixed almost immediately.
Oh and Rocketpay has been around for awhile. They used to be the primary for all of the Kink sites. And I know I touched on it in my review, but there's no DL Limit unless I missed a point. On my last night of the membership, I downloaded 142 GB and didn't hit a limit.

Well, after looking at what was available, I downloaded the material I want and some of that was the picture sets since I last joined. Looking back at my history, I have about 42,000 images that were all downloaded in zip files. That's about 28 gigs of unzipped images and I would guess that this is about 80% of the images on the site.

The biggest problem with LP is that they make so much money from their illegal tube businesses that they can afford to offer much more money to their performers and that's why they can get so many women to do those crazy penetration scenes. For me it gets scary when I look at a young woman like Rebecca Sharon who started doing porn in 2015 at 19 years old and within 6 months she is doing DAP's and within another six months she is sporting a gigantic rosebud because the inner lining of her anal cavity is not detached.

I'm not sure if you are aware but there isn't any lost love between Pierre and a couple of Eastern European producers and their various sycophant who love to post garbage about Pierre. That's why there are often a lot of negative comments when it comes to Pierre because he has taken many of them to task for their less than honest business practice or their utter disregard for the health of their performers.
The biggest culprit is the owner of Legal Porno. The man owns most of the biggest tube sites on the net so that already pisses Pierre but to make things worse LP tends to be a little loose when it comes to the health and safety of the performers who work for them. They are believe to be the ones in 2012 who hired a performer with an invalid STI test and he happened to have syphilis and there was a huge outbreak. At this point the jury is still out on the most recent syphilis problem in Europe(and likely America) but no one would be surprised if it lead back to LP and it's owner. Then there is the unhealthy use of numbing agents for the extreme anal scene that LP is known for. Almost every producers void using those products because the women can't feel the anal penetration and they also can't feel is there is damage being done to their anal cavity and that is bad in so many ways. Pierre posted some pics from one of the LP sets that showed the various creams and products that LP used to numb the women and many thought LP had stopped using them but sadly they haven't.

I recommend you visit Pierre Woodman's site and read the various post starting in late July/early August to get a better idea of the entire story but the gist of it is that Lana shot a casting with sex with Pierre and then did a WakeupNfuck video as well. She was booked to shoot two scenes in August. Pierre had negotiated with her and her agent to shoot one scene with three guys where there might have been a DAP and the a b/g with Manuel the next day or the day after that. everything was set-up, Lana arrived in Europe and sometime after that she got weird, lied to Pierre, left the Country and started to accuse him on social media of a slew of different things. One of which was rape or she at least implied it. Needless to say he didn't take it well. Especially when everything had been booked way ahead of time and there were no surprises.
Now you have a bunch of people that took Lana's side and that escalated the situation. Needless to say that Pierre is pissed at Lana and I can't help but feel that this is another bridge that she has burned. I don't know how many people remember that she was once represented by Mark Spiegler and he dropped her ass when she made a bunch of accusation that he was mistreating her.

Nope, tried again still no good, when I click the download option the purple window below has nothing in it at all, no options to click on, just empty. Sent them another note but prob hear nothing. Not sure why it doesn't work for me, tried it on chrome, explorer and safari and same result... frustrating one this. Can't understand how this will work for others and not myself...

I've joined this site a few times also as I like the differences it has from other sites.
Pretty girls and long, long periods of time to enjoy the camerawork examining, often VERY up close, every inch of each naked body. Better camera-work than other woodman sites in my opinion. I actually like that it has the slightly rougher, more intense sex than your average porn site.
