It's not hard to figure out whether the site is for you. There are previews, and Sapphic Erotica themselves post 5-minute promotional clips on the tube sites.
I'm one of those g/g fans and found lots to like there. Of course not everything is a keeper, but with the sheer quantity of content you'll find on the site, there's something for every "mid/hardcore" g/g fan. I subbed for a couple of months this past spring and I plan to return in the future.

I don't think the site is so bad. I'm currently in the middle of a full-year subscription with them & I'm still liking the site. They put out 13 scenes a month, some of them are amazing, some of them average, some are poor. Plus the huge archive going back many years.
As for canceling, even if one forgets, there are just four options try one & if you're not listed there, then try the next.

I've subscribed on & off over the years, never had a problem canceling. It's all done through established 3rd party billing companies, Sapphic Erotica is not using in-house billing.

In my case, it was the Magik Sex trial that I took, and can assess what you say. Full trial, with no problems at all, and if you cancel within 24h you shall not get billed for the whole month.
They are now sending me emails with offers to join MetArt, but I do not mind -actually, I like it.

Rather than take the one day trial, I signed up as a member via Best Porn's discounted price and I'm enjoying the site a lot. There are a number of familiar faces (and bodies) along with many that are new to me. Unfortunately, many of those new faces are only shown as photosets, with no videos. The photosets themselves look like standard MetArt sets but with lots of touching and lots of genital closeups -- to my taste way too much of those.
Case in point is Mia Sollis, who is a truly gorgeous redhead and represented by nothing but photos. How much more erotic would a video of her touching herself intimately be? Sigh. Maybe someday.
My only technical issue with the site is that webpages take forever to open. Downloads are quick, but getting to the download page is painful.

Thanks for the tip. It's not as slow as actually entering the room and you get the benefit of not being banned by a trigger-happy model but I find it has a extremely slow response time compared to other cam sites' similar functionality.
It's also worth stressing that this feature only seems to be available at Streamate.com and not at its various clones. Since most models actively promote their cammodels subdomain, this feature is likely lost by many users.

But, speaking as someone who, as most PU members will know by now, finds little interest in video, I must say that Sophie Moon's videos are amongst very few that can sustain my interest. She has, or had, a performance style unique in my opinion, with a powerful camera presence that I have seen in nobody else. My only regret is that many of the early videos are available only as low quality MPEGs. I would willingly pay a membership to SSM alone if they had access to the video tapes and could remaster them.

I think that Sophie is more or less retired from porn now and sadly uses this site to promote the fact that she's still a pornstar when she does her escort tours. It's a wellknow fact that porn girls make a lot more money than your average escort. They are only 8 new scenes this year and 4 of those are solo while the other 4 are g/g.
I'm not judging her decision but I agree that no one should join 21sextury for new Sophie scenes. You will feel cheated if not robbed.

go through the motion of pretending that they do. If Sophie truly wanted to comeback then she would be willing to offer her fans more than what she has up to now. As it is I can't imagine her most rabid fan is pleased with the new content.
You might have joined her site if it was a stand alone but I think you would have felt cheated out of your money.

I'm not suprised about the updates on her site. When she left porn, she said it was to start her own business. That was her version but I got the feeling that she was tired of performing in front of the camera. I can't imagine that has changed. I think that either her business simply didn't happen and she needs money or the people at 21sextury offered her a lot of money and told her she wouldn't have to do much of anything. I can appreciate her feelings when she has been performing for almost a decade.
If her site was a stand alone one. Would many of her fans join it knowing that you mostly get a few mild g/g scenes and some backstage stuff?

If it is a marketing strategy, a la the famous "last concert" (e.g., The Rolling Stones), then maybe they shot a big mess of content in the interim, and if so, GOOD!

It's worth noting that the Viv Thomas streaming videos can be saved to your hard drive too - just allow one to stream from start to end, then click into your temporary internet files folder, and the movie file should be there at the bottom. Simply drag it from there into a folder of your choice!
At least that worked when I used it a few months ago - hope nothing's changed. They're quite low picture quality, but hey - we're talking Viv Thomas here, so the content is often amazing.

Thanks for the clarification. Until the technology improves, I'd stay away from streaming videos. Even with my brand new Windows Vista Laptop, streaming videos are unreliable. Downloads that can be replayed are SOOOO much better. If you don't want a ton of porn on your hard drive, you can even use a less-than-one-hundred dollars external hard drive or a $10 flash-drive that can be easily used and re-used. I collect so much porn (it's so cheap now I think I'm getting a great bargain) that I need to clear my external hard drive on a regular basis. After all, how many hours a day can you watch porn? (answer: TOO MANY). LOL :) Best wishes.

VivThomasVideo.com offers all those same streaming videos, the only difference being that they are downloadable as well on VTV - they are not downloadable on VT.com.

I've commented here before that it seems a lot of the big studio sites seem to be an after-thought. Yes, I know that they are in the business of producing movies and not necessarily distributing them, but it seems to me to be obvious that the internet is the most popular way to distribute porn, and certainly will continue to dominate porn distribution. Sites like Hustler and Diabolic just don't seem to take the internet seriously.
I've used Hot Movies and sites like that before, but they can get pretty expensive and most of them have some DRM attached.

If all they offer is streaming, then my credit card stays in my wallet. I can understand a company wanting to protect their material, but streaming only will limit their customer base.
