Interesting review, exotics. I liked how you differentiated between a score for previous members and one for first-timers. I've never had a membership to any of the ATK sites but they've always been on my list of possibles.
You may be able to answer a question though... The studio Kick Ass Pictures has a series of DVD releases that seem to be affilaited with ATK. The Kick Ass DVDs seem to feature a lot of mainstream U.S. pornstars where the sites seem to have models who are unknown to me. Do you see any evidence that any of the KAP scenes are on ATK sites? And are there mainstream porn models on the ATK sites? I guess that's actually two questions... I've looked through several of the ATK sites and I find the tour pages don't help with these questions. Any advice will be appreciated.

The ATK sites have been on my "maybe list" for quite a while. Not sure why I've resisted joining any of 'em, but what you've posted kind of pushes 'em to the bottom of the list, if not off the list altogether. I've come to expect some major glitches from newcomers, but not from the veteran sites.

Thanks for this information. I checked out Wicked when they were listed in the "What's Hot" list at TBP because they're a studio I like. I was really disappointed to see how poor the preview is. While seeing a model list is important, for me a DVD studio that doesn't list what DVDs are available on their site is a deal breaker. The decision to have such limited information available is baffling for a studio that should realize the value in a good preview. Maybe this is another example of a traditional studio completely missing the importance of the internet market.

I've not ever tried any of their live services though I have watched a few taped performances of the live stuff and I have to agree that it is great stuff. Maybe one of these days I'll give it a try. I agree that although it would be difficult it would be very cool to see live shoots of all their niches.
I'm not familiar with the Folsom Street Fair, but I assumed that since it was in SF and that Kink decided to shoot there that it had to be pretty tolerant and open. It would be fun to see sometime.

Thanks for the tip, exotics4me. The site layout or terminology can be confusing. Or maybe I'm just lazy, and expect everything to be labeled simply. Again, thanks, it helps to have experts around who know what they are doing. :)

It's an odd site, as I have commented before about it. Believe it or not, the current layout is much more clear than it was when I first joined it.
To your question, "Yes", Featured sets are ATK Petites exclusive sets and Bonus sets are sets shared from ATK sites in the lingo of this site.
You may be correct about the photo sets not being identical. That's not something that I noticed and you look closer than I do. I hadn't noticed the vid issue that you describe. I'll keep my eye out for it.

Actually, the sharing is not confined to the past. I was a member fairly recently, though I'm not now. On a daily basis, you can look towards the bottom of the home page and see Bonus Sets where they have added sets from their other sites - more prominently on the home page they post the new ATK Petites exclusive material. When I have been a member of both this site and ATK Galleria, I have seen brand new ATK Galleria sets posted on ATK Petites and I believe that the same is the case with ATK Exotics' sets being posted on ATK Petites if the models meet the conditions size-wise to be posted on ATK Petites.
Personally, I don't find to be a negative thing.

Great review. This has always been on my "to join" list but I'm always been put off by the amount of content available. Being a quality whore I would have to download the highest quality version of each scene which would mean I would need huge amounts of storage space. Complaining about too much content is something I thought I would never do, I'm impossible to please it seems :)

It's a somewhat difficult site - I am and always has been partial to full body vids - and In The Crack have them for sure, great ones - maybe the best - but as the name goes: Crack - alas too, way too many loooooong close-up vids that would make some hospital/doctor happy....
And no - I'm not a gynecologists and not into it - so ten minuttes of insides do not appeal to me..
Still those full body vids... great - and for those I could maybe still go to a top score like this 95, maybe...
But: They also - still - got that damn regional pricing - and if you want to avoid that - you got to make bank payments - no deal, here.
Been a member a couple of times, but fed up with paying more from Europe.

Thanks for the reply, exotics. I did think Oye Loca looked quite good. It's sometimes hard to tell from a few snapshots what a site is really like, but that is why PU is so useful. Think I'll make a small investment in this one, it sounds like the sort of site I'd like. There don't have to be gigabytes of material, just enough quality material to make it worthwhile. Thanks for the heads up. Good to see you around again.

I don't recall that I had any trouble cancelling, but my memory may be hazy due to being so pissed off at the download limit. It's good to hear that they're still applying it to some people and not to others, that way I can still be mad at them.

Absolutely disgusting. I wouldn't touch those kind of dodgy rip off sites with a barge pole. There is NO doubt about their intentions either. They are there to trick you out of your money. A disgrace. My suggestion is to mark every site that tries this with a 50.

Yep, I also forgot to mention that their streaming is not as smooth as it used to be. Quite a bit of buffering most of the time, especially when I download one file and watch another.

Nice review. Thanks for sharing. I have browsed through the ATK Hairy Site before. I enjoy a natural look at times. Too much hair can be a turnoff, however. Then again, everyone has their own intersts and there is something for everyone.
It is odd today that a little bush is considered something that would appeal only to a niche market. Back in the 80's, a shaved vagina was considered a fetish niche. Then the trend became popular and everyone started shaving--even the guys. Suddenly, pubic hair became evil. They even had a magazine called 'Shaved' and it featured women with total shaved pubes or a brazillian shave. Believe it or not, it would actually be filed under the category, 'bizarre fetish.
Tattoos and nipple piercings are also something that is a recent incarnation. In the past, they too would have only appeared in a fetish publication.

Videobox has, unfortunately, gone the 21st Sextury route - you need to do a research paper to figure out the best deal to join and how to get what you want for the right place, especially when Kink.com has been doing very aggressive promotions of their sites, as has Evil Angel and Reality Kings. Vivid, well, are they even really still alive?

Not sure about the old site but if i remember correctly once i joined the new vb3 site after i paid the 12$ there was an additional option after to add the different sites (vivid and evil angels) for 15$ a piece. So I think your best option is to join through the old site if you can get the extras for 10$.
Or an additional option is to join the new vb3 site for 12$ wait about a week and they will prorate the price of evil angel/vivid if you join one of them in the middle of the subscription.
i joined Videobox on the 28th of December, it is now 12 days later and i checked that if I joined either evil angel or vivid (not planning to join either) it will be 9.50$ a piece now.

Ideally, for all sorts of reasons, I feel they need to have a similar format for all their sites.
It would be easier for the paying customer & easier for the techs to maintain.

I didn't count my downloads yesterday but I was well in excess of 10GB and maybe even over 20 before I got shut down. I find the variations in the limit more annoying than the limit itself. And I have to admit that I'm pretty pissed that they don't even have the courtesy to reply to my email. I wasn't rude or even remotely challenging or negative. All I did was ask them for some clarification. It seems that like so many mega sites they see customer service as ending once they get a credit card number. It makes those sites that actually do care about customers seem that much better.
I've considered Teen Mega World a few times, and it's on my list of sites to join, but I haven't yet. Knowing that the models are what I like might bump them up a bit.

Especially glad to hear that this site has gotten an overhaul. It was maybe even worse than ATK Premium for navigating and getting content. It WAS organized, but in Byzantine fashion.
Now if they could fix ATK Petites so that it's easier to navigate and well, READ, I'll be happier than a squirrel on a nut farm. (Pink type on blue background? Pul-leeze! Have they ever read Websites That Suck?)
