You said it! Violence isn't even remotely as taboo in the US as nudity and sex are. Movies, no, series of movies like Saw and Hostel , which depict in the most explicit manner horrific cruelty and torture are no problemo, but Janet Jackson's boob threw the country into a frenzy of moral indignation.
Wow, talk about twisted values!

And would I like porn as a gift? Yes, if it was something I haven't been able to locate; such as the original Taxi Girls where Nancy Suiter's fisting scene hasn't been edited out or any of Candy Barr's old "smoker" movies (black & white, of course)
Otherwise, no. If it's something the donor knows I really would like, I probably already have it.
Now a one year gift membership to a website or two that I really like...that would be just great.

No, I never said I'd only seen 6 movies, and I never said I based my opinion on just 6 movies. I was saying that I had just - at that time - sat through 6 movies that all had the same range of problems.
As I said earlier, I originally downloaded over 100GB of movies (although have deleted many now as they are just not very good, IMO). I have seen substantially more than 6 movies that I consider to be badly produced/filmed. Some are excellent. But far far too many are just bad (having no decent angles, and suffering constant shaky wobbly jerky camera movements).
Check out the one example I gave - and then check out others. There are MANY more. It's an issue for me (although I acknowledge, it's not an issue for most on this site so far). Kind regards. Davit

Wise words Toadsith - I guess I'm going to have to learn to do the same before jumping to conclusions.
I'm aware that there have been problems on Pornusers in the past and perhaps I was a little fast to assume that Davit was being slightly dishonest.
I agree with you 100% that "recommendations" of the kind Davit made should be kept for comments and forum discussion and that the reviews should be kept as unbiased as possible, reflecting what the site offers and all the information that a visitor may need to be able to decide if it's worth visiting/joining, rather than a place for the poster to put forward solely his/her own feelings while possibly disregarding many positive elements of the site in question.
It's a pity 1by-day happened to have been the guinea-pig and Davit has only later stated that he'll perhaps try to be a little more lenient in his reviews in the future. Won't help 1by-day's average score too much of course.
In fact he has since also lowered the score to 70 - the site has of course lost the last remnants of quality over the past 2 days and this has nothing to do with my comments...

Thanks Toadsmith for introducing some balance. I have literally only joined this review site in the last few days, and naturally the first sites I reviewed were mainly ones I love (and I happen to love the 21 Sextury lesbian niche sites - as well as Sapphic Erotica). I joined 1 By Day very recently and have been a bit disappointed - but tastes vary!
To be fair to Bella, I did actually post a link to a specific movie within Club Sandy (because it was relevant to the discussion - the movie featured a similar theme to a DDF movie being discussed). But if that is forbidden then I apologise.
But I was kind of disappointed to realise that this whole review site must be biased if the webmaster is affiliated with DDF.
People, I will probably start putting up a few more 'negative' reviews in the coming days. But this is only because I've been stung a few times by awful porn sites that don't deliver what they promise, and I think the web NEEDS more negative reviews to protect future users.
I will always try to be as objective as I can - and where it is based just on my subjective personal taste, I will say so. Regards. Davit.

Nope, the proxy server thing didn't work. I can't get dropdowns to work, so basically can't download anything again. I have an issue with having to pay more (like for a VPN) to get a paid service to work. They're a business that delivers content over the Internet, for crying out loud, certainly they would have thought about this?
What's more infuriating is that I get absolutely no response since from their customer service, be it in terms technical help or on my request for a refund. I've paid good money and got nothing in return, nothing works. Their high-tech, IP-detecting server would be able to tell I downloaded nothing from the site, so I should get my refund.
Does anyone have any idea who I can write to? Like the site owner or someone who will address this?

Have you got a software firewall? It might have incorrectly deemed 21 Sextury as a dangerous site.
A: Nope, no firewall
I'm not sure what country you are hailing from, but is it possible your country or ISP is blocking the site? If so, a anonymous proxy server could solve your problem.
A: Nope, the site works and I can log-in. But any attempts to download or view anything gets me a session error, then I have to log-in again. Sometimes I get randomly booted out to the log-in screen even just clicking things like search or the tabs on top. If the site is blocked in my country or by my ISP I wouldn't have gotten that far.
This one will sound stupid, unless it works: Have you completely shut down your computer, let it rest for a few minutes, and then restarted it?
A: Just did this, same problems.
Basically tried all the steps above, still no help. 21sextury wrote back, saying it's basically my problem because my IP address keeps changing and that's my problem. I explained there's nothing I can do about my IP address, and if he can't help me then I should get a full refund. No word yet.

I agree that watching lolicon, porn with a young girl/older person theme, or reading stories with similar themes will not transform a person into a pedophile. I'd rather someone with those tendencies get his jollies off by watching porn than going out and getting a young girl or boy and abusing them. In my opinion main stream media is far far more to blame for the oversexualization of our teens than porn can ever hope to achieve. Look at Jamie Lynn Spears. I saw a picture of 15 yrs old Miley Cirus wearing a one piece jumpsuit at the Nickelodeon award show. I felt uncomfortable watching that because you could see a cameltoe that would make a porn star jealous. This is suppose to be a role model for pre-teens and teens. I'd love to know exactly what message she was trying to send or where the fuck were her parents. Last I checked your have to be 18 to be considered an adult. Sorry for the rant.

I'm eagerly awaiting the day that you can have really life like animation similar to last years Beowulf in porn movies. I'd love to see how governments could justify going after studios or producers claiming mental or physical abuse of the performers or requiring that performers be identified as being 18+. Maybe I'm in a minority but I've never had much of an issue with make belief young girl themes in porn. I have some serious issues with underqage girls appearing in porn, but not the pretend aspect of a major.

I've been curious about animated porn for a few years now, I still haven't made up my mind, if I want to join one of these sites. I noticed that there isn't a lot of animated stuff mostly just images. Is there any talking? I'm affraid I need actual sound for me to enjoy porn. Watching just pictures stopped doing something for me years ago. Many of the girls have that Lolicon look to them.
Is that typical of content?

I agree with most of your arguments, but on the other hand... IMHO as 3D Sex Game is ALREADY ranked on PU against Hands on Hardcore (they're shown in the same list according to the ranks, BOTH in "browse sites" and "hardcore sex" sites), we need to try to put them within the same ranking system, or those pages will become misleading.
If PU admins will decide to completely separate interactive games from the rest to avoid placing them in the same list - it would be a completely different story (and I wouldn't argue against such separation), but now they ARE within the same system, with rankings directly compared to each other, and IMHO we need to take it into account.
As for difference in "how much we enjoy this or that site" - I don't see it a problem, and completely agree that it is what this site is all about :-).

Ok, I will change reference to "3D engine" to "3D graphics", thanks for pointing it out (as I've said, I'm NOT into these things, I'm just a user).
About being impossible to compare apples and oranges - well, aren't we doing it here all the time? :-) What I'm trying to do is to put ALL the reviewed sites on scale of "how much I enjoy them"; and IMHO my ratings are pretty consistent in this regard; now it became even simpler as I have lots of sites to compare new ones with, and it's quite easy for me to say that I enjoy 3D Sex Game about the same as Naked News, MUCH more than Newbie Nudes and significantly less than Met Arts.
Also while everybody can choose their own criteria, I will explain why I prefer "my" approach (try to rank everything) to "your" one.
There are two problems I see with your approach (ranking only "apples to apples"). The first one is the question "what is the niche narrow enough to compare?" Shall we stop separating ONLY 3D games or it shall be done for ALL niches? And then - shall we separate, for example, ATM from Anal as being the same or different niches? In the very extreme case we can even say that all sites are unique, but it will make any ranking completely worthless. The second problem is that when new user comes to the site, he easily can see "the best sites" by overall rating right on the home page; but at this point he doesn't care about "best in class" thing, he wants "the best overall entertainment site", and "global" ranking (opposed to "per-niche ranking") is REALLY important there; another incarnation of the same problem is that sites are usually labeled as multi-niche ones, so if 3D Sex Game is compared to such sites as "Hands on Hardcore", which means that they shall have the same ranking scale. Just IMHO though :-).

Well, everybody has his own opinion , that's what this site is about :-).
About comparing 3D in ActiveDolls and 3D Sex Game - right, models there are anime-style, but in a sense they are MUCH more human because they have human movements and face which expresses something, and animation is IMHO FAR better there; also I don't really care about fancy features used like some-kind-of-shaders or DirectX v10 (I'm not game developer, I'm just a user). It is overall "feeling" what matters to me, and on this scale I DEFINITELY like ActiveDolls engine MUCH better; if trying to figure out what this "feeling" consists of, probably it will be naturally looking movements (including animated face) and overall "polished" interface (I didn't see minor rendering "glitches" in ActiveDolls which are abundant in both 3D Sex Game and 3D Stripper).
On the other hand, if you feel that "3D engine" doesn't cover all the 3D aspects and is all about shaders and such, I won't argue :-). My point is (and was) that overall "feeling" of 3D graphics and animation is IMHO MUCH better in ActiveDolls than in 3D Sex Game (and 3D Stripper COULD be brought to the same level IF they will get rid of those "glitches", will get rid of "jumps" between different dance segments, but to get significantly higher overall entertainment value they will also need MUCH more than a single girl).

But I've tried to compare it's "entertainment value" NOT only to other 3D games, but to ALL the adult sites I know; that's probably where the difference in our ratings comes from.

What struck me was, that almost half of the sites in New Listings have been gay lately - maybe a coincidence. In that context I found it a bit odd because some 99% of all reviews are in some way hetero...so maybe most PU's would like to see more non-gay sites in New Listing.

I'd like to address the download speed issue. We've recently implemented global mirrored servers for the 1080p HD downloads. This means that the movies will be coming from locations geographically close to the member. The download speed should fully max out the connection. The 'non-HD' videos are not on this system yet, but they should be starting May.
For example: a member with 5Mbps DSL should be able to get a full 5Mbps (625KB/s) steady for the entire download.
As far as the blurryness, it's 30fps high motion, thus quite difficult to be kept sharp in non-Hollywood grade cameras. I suggested watching the HD videos at a farther distance than where you would normally watch standard definition videos.

I had a Comcast issue as you can see from previous post. I now average 1.25MB or a bit higher in HD after local Comcast server crashed ( hope I didn't do that) now the downloads are excellent in relations to dowwnload speed. Great site.
