You can count on one hand top shelf JAV sites available to westerners, as a matter of fact I have a suspicion they are all owned by the same company! However, if you are really into A grade JAV (Japanese Adult Video), Sexasian 18 has a ton of material which is increasing on a daily basis.
The videos are divx avi, 640x480. The download speed I'm getting is about 900 kb/s, and is consistent. 8 GB/day is not a problem for me, but I know a lot of PU's like to go hog crazy with their downloading, so be aware of the limit. There is no DRM here whatsoever. Every video has a preview player on the page to allow a peek before you download the usually 1 GB video. Every video is also broken down by scene for those who don't want the whole thing, or have a slower connection. I do wish they had better screencaps, which here are just a few small size shots. Also, I like to collect the DVD cover with my download, and these are quite small unfortunately.
There are also hundreds of hi-res photo sets, in galleries or available through zip files. A lot of stuff I haven't seen elsewhere.
The models are all first team JAV stars, plus there are newcomers on a weekly basis. The Japanese porn industry is simply huge, it makes one wish there were more sites available.
The site is attractive and user friendly. The search engine is excellent, unless you misspell. And there are actress and video indexes. Also links to the blogs of many JAV stars. Almost all of them have a little dog! You can translate these using google.
This is a great site for the collector of premium JAV porn, and with the archives and daily updates, and limit, it will keep you busy for a long time. |

It's hard for me to say anything bad about Silvia Saint and her hall of fame career. She always has been a fave of mine, and even though she has been active for over 10 years, she still has the same figure she did at 20! She has always been first class, so any material with her in it is worth collecting. As a matter of fact, I was very pleased to find in the video section many of her classic videos, including her work with Elegant Angel. And the videos are all hi-res (720x528). She also has here videos made exclusively for the site, so it has the best of both worlds. There aren't many vids however, 49 to be exact, but she promises more in the near future. Her photos are wonderful, of course, and on the edge of hi-res (1067px). The older sets are better, because her recent photo updates are small. Not so much in frequency, but in content--a lot of "backstage" stuff, and some events. She does include some notable friends, such as Angel Dark and prissy Jana Cova. Bad news---NO zip files! There are quite a few sets too, so I don't understand why there are no zips. A lot of quality network access and no DRM protection are big pluses though. The biggest plus of all is Silvia Saint, classy and hot, so that is reflected in my score. If you are a fan of hers, go for it--you won't be disappointed. For regular website consumers who have no special affection for Silvie, you might be a bit disappointed. |

Was a previous member, a few years ago. Is Suze gone from the site? She has not posted in her forum in a long time, though her daughter has frequently. What a shame, because Suze is the best, she photographs erotically like no other. What's left of her work is A+ outstanding. The photos are 1280px, not bad. The videos are excellent, covering every genre from softcore to lesbian to all out hardcore, they don't disappoint. No speed problems here, and plenty of hot models to choose from as always. The site's a mess. It's like a broken down old sports stadium where your favorite team plays. Sometimes it's been difficult just to log in. I was irritated by the hassle of canceling. I don't like being nagged about my financial decisions. I'm hoping they are planning to re-do this site so I can join again and do another review. Oh well, at least I still have my original VHS copy of "Miss Passion" ;) |

I became impressed by Sophie Moone from her work on other sites, like Pier999, so even though I do not like the company which hosts her site, I thought it was about time I checked it out and collected more of her offerings. Sophie is one of those models who seems sweet and nasty at the same time. She is professional in her posing, and often quite lewd, although she does no hardcore aside from fellating the occasional cucumber. She does participate in the obligatory "g-g" sets.
Sophie is a natural all dolled up in lingerie and other finery. She wears heels and hose exceptionally well, seeming very comfortable in her call girl getup. Sophie does keep an updated diary, and has done video diaries as well. She seems genuinely interested in the site, although it only seems to update once a week.

This site has an incredible amount of material, and it gets larger daily. The oldest material is not of great quality however. The new photos are all high res. I wasn't impressed with the production quality of the videos, they are average at best. The photos are very good, and the models attractive. Some of the sets are rather unerotic, but since there's so much to choose from, you can skip past these if you like. There is hardcore at this site also. Customer service seems to be attentive and helpful, as there is a forum on the site to help with questions. The search engine they have is pretty good. This is not a site you can get through in a month. |

This was probably considered a great site many years ago, in fact, much of the material looks like it is from many years ago. Remember Daisy Dukes (Melissa Milano)? She disappeared into real life many years ago, but her sets are still here! (Poor girl, I bet she would be thrilled aboutr that!). This looks like a site that hasn't awakened to the new age of internet porn. Some of the newer material is good, photos at 1500px, and vids at 640x480 (wmv). But an awful lot of this material is stuff you could find on some low grade blog for free. The site is very unnatractive, nothing interesting to it at all. Navigation is very basic and cumbersome. I didn't find much to save from this site. There are a bunch of extra sites, mostly small and unappealing, with the exception of Teen Eva, a small site with photosets of the former Zora7, no zip files here, but a real cutie, although not much modelling ability. If this was 1998, I'd say this was a killer site. But in 2008, Teen Flood must catch up with all the HQ sites competing for our money with their newly bloated prices! |

It seems to me that the males in pornoland do their best to ruin adult entertainment. It's epedemic, and this site is a perfect example. The concept of this site is POV handjobs. In other words, the girls are to pretend that they are interacting with the viewer. And the girls are outstanding at it, they always are. they understand this business. The male element do not understand at all. Take the POV genre. If they could only understand how irritating it is to hear them talk to the girl with the camera and microphone right next to them, thus destroying the illusory symbiotic relationship between me and Riley, um the actress! Duh!!! $23.95 for this site, more for their DVD's, all the production costs, and fees for the girls, and these slugs are still acting like these videos are being made for their personal pleasure!! Twisty's is a site loaded with photos and videos that is frequently updated and will keep you busy for as long as you like. At this time it has approximately a whopping 1000 models. And a lot of these models have many sets contained within. So that adds up to more than you can download. This makes the site a bargain at the price. The models are mostly Euro and American. Too many American porn actresses I think though because at this time the XXX American girl is not top of the shelf. However, you will see American models like Shay Laren! The photos are hi-res, the newer ones I see at about 1600px, but even the old sets will still give you 1024px, not bad for the old days. They are zipped. There are a ton of vids here (2119 as of this review) in the 720x480, 640x480 range. Available in wmv and mov, the stream loads fast. Segment or full D/L. The download speed here is very fast, although some members have had problems, I think the problem for them was one of routing. I downloaded consistently at over 1mb/s for one file, 700kb/s for multiple files. The webmaster is hands on here, there is a forum you should join as he answers all questions promptly and is very open to suggestions and the resolution of complaints. It's plain to seee that he cares about his site and his paying customers, that is always good to see. So for a ton of exclusive material that will have you hogging your ISP's bandwidth, you will not be disappointed if this kind of material is to your liking! |

I know this site is the "darling" of all the professional reviewers, probably because of the very reasonable price, but quite frankly, I would rather pay more for higher quality content. There are many videos I wouldn't download for free unfortunately, but it is funny reading users comments about this. Having said this, there are good videos there, and the price can't be beat. Being able to crop the videos to taste is a big plus, and downloading is fast and easy. |

This is a difficult site to grade because with the problems mentioned, it has a ton of very hard to get material. The material (meaning video/film) covers the whole 20th Century. Up to the 1940s, the offerings are sparse, but after that increase greatly in volume. Something like 7500 films all told. These are all derived from the mammoth "Blue Vanities" collection, that you may remember from video stores. (By the way, if you go to the Blue Vanities review here, it just redirects to this site).
The 1970s section to me is the most impressive. You have all the "Swedish Erotica" series, "Diamond", "Pretty Girls", "Dirty Movies", "Diverse Industries", "Screw", "Playmate", "Lasse Braun", "Collection", "Pleasure", and a whole lot more. Back in the day, this stuff cost a fortune, if you had a projector. Back then they were released as silents. Soundtracks have been added here (but not all of them). You will only hear the soundtrack after you download---the streaming versions have generic soundtracks, or even a projector sound no doubt because of the copyright infringements! There are so many of these loops, shorts, and stags that a month hardly scratches the surface.
There are problems however. A lot of the videos are streaming only. I solved this easily by downloading them with the latest RealPlayer, and then converting to another format. A bit time consuming, but worth the effort. Another problem I encountered was mislabeled films. Sometimes the film will have the title in the film, so you can label it that way.
The streams here for me have been flawless. A good way to preview what you want to download. The videos are DRM free. Download speed is average (ie:500 kb/s). They are offered in MPEG, with 2 different sizes: 720x480; 320x240. they do not label their video with technical detail. They have a page where digitally restored films are available. Obviously this is a slow process; as of this writing they have 41 done. Look great though. Forget the photo section---pretty much all screencaps.
Updating has slowed down recently, haven't seen one in 3 weeks. Maybe they're on vacation or something. They claim to still be processing the videos to get them online, which is probably true.
I give this site a high score chiefly because of the incredible hard to find content. If you're looking for that cheap porno thrill---move on, you won't like it. If you are a collector of vintage porn, this is the mother lode. |

I've been getting into these so-called "glamour" sites lately, mostly for the photos. This is one of the better examples of these sort of sites. The models here are really hot, let's face it--Europe is blowing away the U.S. as far as erotica is concerned at the moment. The girls are just a lot better looking. The problem at this site is that they don't yet have enough models or sets to justify a multi month membership as of yet. I got everything I wanted in my 1 month membership, but what great stuff it is! The photos are hi-res, and great looking. The photography is a lot more erotic than that of similiar sites. Not a lot of "statue posing" here. You can choose up to 5000 pix(!), but as I said, as of this review there are only 85 models. They have HD video also, not a whole lot yet. Personally, I find the "glamour" vids boring, but that's my prejudice---if that's your cup of tea, you won't be disappointed I guess. You can choose between wmv and quicktime. But back to the photos, I love them! They're in the magazine style, with titles like "Provoking Cock"! The navigation---while the member's area is very attractive, the navigation is a bit irritating. You click the model, go to her page. You click her picture, get the sets. You click a set, and then you have to click the cover, and then you're finally there! And they don't include the cover in the set, you have to save the hi-res cover and place it in yourself. Site is updated frequently. it will be better in a year. |

So I learned that "Xisty" is slang for "Ecstasy". If you are a photo collector, you will be in ecstasy, because this site has very nice hi-res offerings. Sharp zip downloadable 1800px with some very appealing models like Eufrat, Eve Angel and Carmen Gemini in what looks to be exclusive material. The zips are quick to download, and contain some very fine digital eroticism. Not too much hardcore yet though. The videos (640x480) fill my 19 inch monitor nicely. Mostly softcore these are. I have read here questions as to why the eastern Euro girls are embarrassed to speak because of lack of English linguistic ability. I think they should be told that we find their voices very attractive. So it would be nice to hear them. The site is very attractive I think, which is something I value. However, although there is an alphabetized model name list, I would rather see an alphabetized model thumbnail list, not knowing who all the models are. I don't much like voting for models either, because I feel bad for the girls on the bottom of the ratings list. I hate to think of one of them looking at the page! I wish Xisty would have a nice indoor studio for the photography. Nothing fancy, but there are too many outdoor shoots. As a photo collector, I like this site very much. The sets are high quality technically and erotically. Almost forgot to mention they have a large page of 3000px photo sets. Also a page of 1280 x 720 hi-def videos. |
