Looks like a site has been forgotten. Sexy, teasing, “I think” amateurs.
There are nearly 700 models and most look new to me.

Good site for straight or curious women with nothing close to “offensive” happening. |

This site has been around a long time. I used to think it was a stream-only site. I believe Nubiles used to advertise for it and the launch date coincides with my first time joining Nubiles in 2009. The site’s name may be the biggest con. It doesn’t sound like porn. Sounds like a video game or your weird aunt’s soup recipe.
There’s not a lot of explicit nudity. There’s plenty of nudity, it’s just not gynecological. |

I’m not going to be that critical of the content as I found it quite good. I am going to be critical of their marketing. I have heard of this site for more than 10 years, but never joined it. I don’t even think I ever looked at a preview. It’s a really good site. It reminds me of a photo site, kind of artsy, but they do stress there isn’t much makeup. They’re not going for glamour. It’s women next door and that’s not girls, because some of these females are probably in their 40s. If not, don’t say anything, so I don’t have to name which ones look 40s to me. There is a little bit of hesitancy on my part. This is a large site, but it has been around since 2009. I’m a little hesitant and dare I say – gunshy, after reviewing a site awhile back and finding out they recycled the entire site from old updates. This one has new updates everyday and that’s either really impressive or someone is slipping one over on me. An update everyday after being open for 13 years deserves some credit.
What you mostly get with this site is women dressed normally and doing normal things. I think it’s normal for young, pretty women to strip in the shower. That sounds strange. I don’t know anyone that takes showers in their clothes. A site like this, to me, appeals to straight women. Especially those of us that are nearing middle-age. Some of these women could teach a thing or two about being sexy. It’s not weighed down by she needs to get naked and masturbate or have sex. I believe when you give a woman the job of being sexy without sex, you get her best sexy show. She knows she has to make it count.
The question becomes is that porn? Good question. I think it is. A lot of the stripping is in panties, thongs, and it’s not stripping for stripping class. It’s stripping for arousing someone else or teasing. I just don’t think it adds up to the current porn we see. That doesn’t help my questioning of if the content is potentially recycled. It really fuels it. I haven’t seen porn like this since the first sites I joined around 2009-2010. I do apologize to them if I am talking too much about recycling. I hope it could help others interested in the site. That also should be mentioned, I don’t see any 4K scenes. That’s porn’s fault for trying to establish 4K as the standard. Now, anytime I don’t see 4K scenes, I start to wonder if the scenes are older and re-released.
The models are really hit or miss for me. I do believe they are going to be a major part of how you feel about this site. Some, Naomi Moon, comes to mind, are knockouts. While some, I won’t name them, look like the woman that delivered my groceries. That’s a big disparity between models. I will mention that Naomi Moon’s bio on the site definitely tells that it’s new content. She is from Ukraine and the bio says Ukraine is in news for “other” reasons. I wish someone else was a member or could explain why this site does not feel like a 2022 site. Maybe their webmaster knows? I know the more teasing nature of the content could be giving me the older feel from older sites. The styles of clothing could be from poorer countries than what I’m used to. That is what makes the site interesting to me, but I still can’t say it's the porn part that makes it interesting.
The teasing is cute, though some of these women look older than me and I would hope if they’re older than me they know better than to waste their time and years on teasing. I like Yassa Mare’s content a lot.
I believe it takes more to impress without full nudity than it does to impress with full nudity and 7 men having their way with you. I really can’t say who I would recommend this content to. Those that like normal woman? That is what I feel like I’m looking at. It makes women like Naomi Moon really stand out on the site. It’s mostly just normal, fun, women stripping and looking pretty. I don’t know who that would be recommended to. Maybe that’s why the site isn’t well-known? I will say if these normal women were willing to do masturbation, I think it would be a real winner site. They look more like the women that buy the 5 inch dildo AND lube. Innocence is not age-related, it’s experience-related.
I think I’ve talked myself into understanding what’s going on with this site. It’s like it has never progressed and they’re just doing what they’ve always done. I would really consider trying to progress this some. You have women in wet shirts looking at the camera like, “My shirt is wet!” Guys in 2022 would say, “Did you spill your drink?” The nipples showing would just go over their head. You have to be more blunt ladies! I like the site and will return to it. |

After a couple of months of browsing the highly polished glamour content at DDF I really fancied something different so ended up here at Cosmid attracted by the lure of some real amateur girl next door type models and I have to say Im thoroughly enjoying this site so far. According to the site these girls are not models or porn stars, just ordinary girls with normal day jobs, students, waitresses, bar tenders, office girls. Id estimate around 75% of them are from the US with some British and Prague based models thrown into the mix. Whilst there is a good variety in model type from petite to voluptuous and even a little bit chubby, anyone who likes large breasted girls will surely be in their element here. When God was handing out tits many of these girls must have been at the front of the queue. There are a few heavily tattooed and pierced models as is the trend amongst young women these days. Most models are aged 18 to mid-20s with just a few older ones.
The content is nearly all softcore solo posing, teasing and stripping although many of the models dont get fully nude. Some of the more recent content has become a little raunchier with some models like Brittany Burns and Larkin having some toy masturbation videos. Ive also come across the odd lesbian video and a blowjob video but they are difficult to find and I certainly wouldnt sign up expecting to see a lot of that type of content.
You can browse all the updates in chronological order or by highest rated and also select just photos or videos. Theres also a model index which can be sorted by most recent, alphabetical, age, hair colour, model type (non-nude, topless, nude), boob or butt size. Each model has a short bio listing their age, occupation and location with a short paragraph of background info. She also has a list of physical attributes such as hair colour, body type, boob size which double as clickable tags so if she has large boobs click on that and it will bring up a list of other models with large boobs. Individual photo sets and videos also come with additional clickable keywords often relating to the outfits and lingerie to help you find similar type sets. They could really do with a proper search engine to allow you to search by more than one criteria though.
The photo quality is pretty consistent throughout the site. I only found a handful of the earliest sets with a resolution below the standard 1600 px size. They did announce in the blog last August plans to upgrade the photos to 3000 px and offer them in 3 different sizes which would be cool if they get around to doing it. They dont provide the models with a wardrobe or make-up artist so you see them as they are stripping out of normal every day clothes. The photography is generally of a good professional standard with nice sharp well lit pictures but they do post the complete shoot without any editing or photo shopping so you will find the odd photos here and there where the lighting is not quite right or there might be some out of focus or blurry shots or the model is pulling a funny face but it all kind of adds to the amateur appeal. Overall I found the photos quite tame, even with those models that do nude shoots you will find the nudity is not that explicit.
I normally find solo videos boring and dont spend a lot of time watching them but I did however find them a little more entertaining here than normal. I particularly liked some of the amateur style self-shot videos where the model is on her own in her bedroom or the bathroom, chatting to the camera, teasing or dancing, sometimes stripping followed by masturbation or toy play depending how far the model goes. The videos normally last about 6 to 10 minutes. There does seem to be a bit more explicitness in the video collection than the photos. Videos can be downloaded in 1280x720 wmv or mp4, 976x548 mp4 or 480x272 mp4 for ipod or psp. Prior to 2012 you only get the one download option which is 1280x720 wmv.
Overall a highly enjoyable site and these amateur US models made a refreshing change from the same old Euro models I keep seeing on nearly every site I join. |

It is as close to real as you can get it. The site is a step up from average nude (non-nude) photo/video site. Good to check in from time to time, but not worthy of a long-term membership.
Personally; At first, glued to the site to get my moneys worth, then started to lose interest in content and spark started to fade, I started to check in once a week at once every two weeks it was time to call it quits. |

I was a member here back in 2010 and decided to give it another chance. The models are beautiful and vast majority are not well known porn starts going by a different name.
However a few things kill the site:
1) the "HD" video is far from HD. Videos are 1280x720 but quality isn't that great.
2)Blurry, out of focus or mid blink photos that you have to ask you self why any respectable photographer or website would upload.
3) And the fact that not everybody gets nude. Some are topless only or even non-nude.
Overall a decent site to check out every 2-3 years for $20 but not something you'd last more then a month at. |

Yeah, it's been over a year since I did a review. I can't see putting up reviews for the same 3 or 4 sites that I'm always going back to, but Cosmid reminds me why I tend to stick with what I know I'll like. I like sites that feature amateurs, or at least mostly amateurs so I thought this might fit the bill. In the amateur department, Cosmid does OK. Along with some "names" there are plenty of faces (and bodies) I've never seen before. The majority of the women are average looking or better which, as the quintessential amateur fan, really appeals to me. I found very few silicone jobs, not too much of the now common piercings and, surprisingly, not as many inked to hell bodies as I expected, although there were some I passed on. Most of the models run to the busty side of things which may or may not be your thing but I didn't mind too much. :)
But after that, things fall flat for me. They bill the site as "Uncut, unedited, unbelievable" and I find that totally believable. Way too many videos that look like they were shot on a 5 megapixel (or lower) point and shoot camera, overlit and underlight scenes, focus problems and, as I said in the cons, there were far too many videos where the camera was moving around to the point where I found myself talking to the monitor, asking it to keep still. The cameraman has another problem. Ever wish they'd just shut up and shoot? On top of all that, aside from the fact that there are a lot of models who don't go for full nudity, Cosmid seems to have "Abby Winters Syndrome", keeping the models that do go full nude clothed until the last minute or two of a 10 minute clip. Next issue? Streams and pictures that are missing, misnamed files and, despite user comments asking about them, aren't fixed. And, lastly, calling 720p video high def in 2015 is just plain wrong, especially for the scenes that had the distinct look of a webcam, complete with a horrible refresh rate, or just as bad, an early VHS recording.
The pictures. No real wow factor there either. Newer pictures are 3000 pixels long side, but it seems the majority on the site are 1600 long side, also seemingly shot on an outdated camera. In addition to the repetitiveness, some of the blurry and mid-blink shots tell me they live up to their creed - they truly don't like editing. The zip files are nice, but I can see me wading through the sets that I saved to weed out the clunkers and repetitive shots.
Navigating the site isn't too complicated with the tabs and click on keywords you find on almost every other site. You can sort the site by categories: Alphabetical, Highest rating, Age, Hair color, Model type, Boob size and Butt size. There are also tags on each scene but even they have issues - models listed as nude who aren't, listed as topless but go full nude, no tag for the several hardcore scenes, etc.
There's a blog that tells a bit of what's going on behind the scenes - where they are, who they're talking to, blah, blah, blah. Not my thing, so no further comment on that.
All in all, despite it's shortcomings and the score I gave it, I'm not too upset that I checked out the site. It's a great concept but one that's very poorly executed. For $20 it's was an OK join. I just don't see me coming back to it unless I see that they've started to pay attention to blatant problems and have stepped up to 21st century technology. |
