I join sites for a year if I find a really good sale price. But being honest with you I agree wholeheartedly on this issue.

Yeah totally agree with you, never understood this thinking, they are missing so many subscribers and money for people that are into downloading, I'd never join a site for a year or ever join a streaming only one either.

Their business model is simple. They would rather get a smaller pool of people to fork over 100$ then get significantly more people to fork over 20$ and try to download their entire library in 30 days. Even if many of the people who buy a monthly membership might stay longer. They have as a company decided that they prefer less members who will buy a year long membership which is why I stopped following AT.
I refuse to join sites or in this case a huge network that doesn't allow downloads and while it's true that AT allows downloads. The fact that its only for people who get a year long membership technically means that it's not going to be for people like me.

there's an easy remedy for this issue, download Internet Download Manager and it captures the link to the video you're streaming...this way you can download all the movies you want without paying their overpriced fee...simple. I got a free trial and downloaded damn near a 2/3rds of the content (because the rest was bs I didn't want to see like TS and bi-sexual). But I wholeheartedly agree with you.

I don't mean to sound preachy, but this trick doesn't always work long term. Security algorithms often block accounts for violating the Terms Of Service.

trust me....it works. I've managed to download a good portion of movies already. i've been using that program for two years now. I do understand the risk you're talking about, however I have yet to have an issue with the terms of service (knock on wood). I think its pretty f-d up that they only let you stream the movies.....especially when there are sites out there that are way better and cost less than theirs
