Back before I crossed the line to paysites, I used to spend a lot of time at free sites like tommys-bookmarks, which is still around, as I just found out. But they were just too much of a hassle, and the quality just doesn't make it for me at all anymore.
Now, when I go to TGPs (pretty rarely), it's usually because I'm hunting for new paysites!

Free sites? Yech. I do recall a time years ago when they seemed nice, but these days I can't be bothered. Ads, small photo sets, short and lousy quality videos. It is rough to say the least.
Anyway - as I am here answering this poll on a site that features the slogan "Porn reviews by the people" - I doubt it is much of a surprise that these days I exclusively surf for porn on pay websites.
Invest a spot of money and with a little bit of luck you can get exactly what you are looking for, in good time too.

While I do like to surf the free sites, I'm spoiled and want more, so I join the sites I find a little exciting or interesting.

You get what you pay for. Trying to find worthwhile stuff for free is like searching for a needle in a haystack. And you're also risking all manner of viruses and spyware. The free sites also tend to be very dishonest. Links often will not lead you to where they claim to - often they just lead to more links, that open in more windows, and before you know it, you have about 10 windows open behind the one you are viewing.
The tube style sites are so rubbish that I'm sure the only people that get anything out of them are horny teenage lads that can't yet access the credit card authorisation sites.
There's enough pay sites that are utter rubbish, without me wasting more time with free ones!

I have to say never much cared for the free site apart from lesbian blogs and lesbian.hu, I though only go to them to see about pay sites really and what kind of lesbian stuff is currently being shown. Agree most free stuff is risky to what links it sends you to with viruses so I only click when I see where I'm going.

Some of the free stuff is okay if you like mostly amateur content and average quality video but nothing compares to the quality and content of a really good paysite. You do get what you pay for usually.

In the past it's been paysites, but with my recent lack of funding sources for my porn, it's often a trip to a site like Free Ones for me. Even though the clips are usually pretty short, I somehow muddle through. :)

I agree with the general trend of replies; that I go to paysites almost exclusively. The free sites are not that good and there are plenty of paysites that have good pricing (there's a recent trend nowdays where the successful sites have discovered that there is a lot more money to be made at a slightly lower price than by keeping the price high.)
