I can understand your point as sometimes I wish that some guys wouldn't go topless. But it gives me the creeps if some stupid asshole tries to enter a church without some kind of shirt at least.

I believe that they should be able to. But, it will not happen. They will say no because because they consider a womans breasts to be part of the reproductive system and they are not common to both genders.
Personally I think it would be great when a nice looking woman goes topless, but you know it will be mostly women who you would not want to look at even if they were paying you to!

I said no. I'm sorry to say but when it comes to sexuality, women don't have the same options as guys. Last I checked womens breast are sexual objects. I don't think that's ever been said about a guys chest.

I voted yes, but reluctantly, because after a while topless women would become such a normal sight that breasts would lose their sexual attraction and resume their rightful place as sources of nourishment for babies. Still nice to look at but no longer idolized! Come to think of it, that might not be such a bad thing. No more silicone, no more botched boob jobs and scars under breasts. No more unscrupulous plastic surgeons who mess up what nature created. Yeah, let's go for it, equal rights for all! :-)

Messmer has a point: We guys wouldn't want to get too accustomed to the sight and, you know, start losing our sense of appreciation. So why not have topless holidays? 1x per month in spring and early fall, twice a week in summer (assuming a temperate climate here, I know).
And, as Monahan said, "... men should also have the right to stare at their unadorned mammaries without fear of being accused of molestation or any other crime."
Without that, there would be NO point to the holiday.
And there should be "ass" holidays, too!

Nebulous as it may seem. It is still a women's right to do what they want with their bodies. And the fact that the governments have to take on such issues (no pun intended) is demoralizing to women. I voted yes, because DUH! I appreciate the female form. But it does suck for women to leave it up to a bunch of old fashioned, old men (MOSTLY), most of them biased by religion (no offence), and the money dumped on them by religious righties, to give women the rights and liberties to do what they want with their own, beautiful, bodies as individuals.

I don't know if I'll ever consider topless women a common sight, and I hope I never do. I don't think you'll ever see a reduction (no pun intened) in women wanting larger breast. Women can blame men for all they want, but frankly having read enough blogs and forums to know that most guys would rather a woman with natural breast regardless of the size of them. If Freud couldn't figure what women want. Who am I to try.

You should go to some of the European topless beaches, pat362. The first couple of times you ogle, after that you still appreciate feminine beauty but breasts are no longer a fixation. I am not entirely sure if the guys on the blogs and forums are entirely honest because I've read too often, coming from women, my boy friend (husband) would like for me to get my breasts enhanced. But I sincerely hope they are lying and that YOU are right. I love natural! :-)

I did think of beaches like in St-tropez, when you were talking about topless women. You are right that at some point you get used to it, but I'm pretty sure that if a gorgeous woman was coming down the beach with breast that make men cry. We would still be staring at her. I've heard the same statement from women, but sadly women are neurotic about their looks. They get breast implants because they can and they think that it will improve their view. You and I are in agreement that it almost never does.

As much as i HATE to say it, no. To have some fat old ladies walking around with there breast flopping around
is an appropriate sight. For the safety of children and all humans alike, I think its best that woman keep there puppies tucked in. I know there are some hot woman who might walk topless, and we would all like to see them. To most, breast are considered a private part. So until men walk around with no underwear, the act of being topless wont happen, and i think its best it doesn't happen.

I think most women would be uninteresting and a turn off. Better to keep the visuals for those you want to see, not some fat out of shape women. I would hate to lose interest in breasts because of how some look.
