If I'm gonna read a blog, I want to know what she's like in real life. So none of this fake stuff.

Same here. I don't want to read the classic "oh, I am alone at home so horny" entries, which are so obviously fake. I prefer reading about what they really do and think.

Where do you find these blogs? I assume you're not talking about model bios, but an actual blog that is done by the model. The sites I join might have a short model bio, which can often contain inaccurate data (country of origin, age, even getting the physical description of the model wrong at times). But I don't often come across a model's blog.

Many thanks for the blog examples, nadiencendia. I think you have to be a real fan of these models if you are going to follow/read these blogs. I think the models are pretty, but the blogs simply don't appeal to me. I understand the idea is to help their fans feel a connection to the models, and to increase the fan interest and loyalty, but the blogs just don't connect to me.
On the other hand, I bought a DVD of Rabid, a movie that Marilyn Chambers was in back in the 1970s, from Marilyn Chambers at a convention, and was happy to get it, because I had seen the movie when it played originally in the theaters when it was first released in 1977. Marilyn Chambers was a famous porn star back in the 1970s, when porn movies were first gaining acceptance and starting to make big money. Rabid was a non-porn zombie movie by David Cronenberg back when he was still doing small movies, and he since went on to become a big-time director. I was happy to get the DVD. But I haven't even opened the case or played the DVD (partly because she signed the outer plastic cover with a cute message). But I still remember pretty much what the movie was about, even after all this time. It was just a low-budget zombie movie, but I thought it was well done and enjoyed the movie at the time, so the DVD still brings back memories. :)
And Marilyn Chambers seemed like a really nice and friendly person when I met her. Very down to earth.

I'm mostly curious to know what they plan to do in the future for their site or other sites & studios.
I really don't want to know too much about their personal life because that kills the fantasy and I'm a complete stranger so I think some things should be reserved for close friends and family.

I haven't seen many models' blogs that were all that interesting to begin with or kept my interest. That's OK. If one of them were reading a blog of mine, they'd probably feel the same way. And that's why I don't have one ...
But getting back to the models, and me, it's hard to BE interesting in text. One of the few I thought was was Asia Carrera. Well, she's very high IQ and has a great sense of humor, so that probably explains things pretty well.
And I'll be the first to say that models shouldn't feel obligated to have blogs. They're under enough strain as it is! Or if they're going to consider getting a tit job ... STOP THAT THOUGHT and sink deeply into blogging! Save yer TITS girl!!! Don't do it!!
And no, DON'T blog about tit jobs! Read some philosophy, contemplate the meaning of life, and the meaning of meaning, and the meaning of staying NATURAL.

I've only seen one blog I actually bothered reading regularly. Strangely though it is not any starlet's blog but written by that bald guy Christian.
Sadly he's not really updating it anymore but it gave a really interesting insight into the mess that the adult industry actually is. I guess that guy makes enemies easily with him writing his honest opinions of the other people in the business in his blog but if half of what he writes is true and not just provocation, the porn industry is surprisingly bigoted and full of double standards.
His candid photos of the shoots are also good fun.
Have a look: http://christiansingstheblues.com/

if you blog, you should accept comments.
if you accept comments, you should make the effort to engage in a conversation.

A blog should be a bit interactive, just like a fan site. Fans offering appreciation for a model's work and encouragement and maybe suggestions makes it more interesting. I'd also like to know about all the model's latest projects, websites he or she has worked on, etc. since I like to expand my collection with favorite models at the top of the list.

I see your point.
I'd still rather have a no comments blog than no blog at all. Internet can be a nasty place and all the people who disagree with you tend to gather around like vultures. It can really wear you down if you feel compelled to take active part.

I like blogs, diaries, site news and other community features. Twitter feeds are fun, too. I wouldn't join a site just because the model or webmaster communicates a lot, but it's a plus. As far as comments, I would prefer that they be pre-moderated, as some people have poor manners.

Most of the blogs that I have read are nothing more than ads for the latest updates. If I am to follow a blog I want something interesting to read.

I agree that a real life blog would be a nice read, but most of the stuff out there is simply uninteresting cookie cutter marketing. I do love some forums and twitter accounts where you can get a feel for the models/ directors, but blogs in my opinion are too much...

They all lie through their teeth.
I'd be interested if they were sincere and wrote about how much they despise male frenetic desire towards their assholes, farts, armpits and so forth, or, about how boring they find it to be. I'd like to read about how vulgar and irrelevant the aforementioned desire it is in their book. That would be something worth reading.
