Once I got past high school, it was definitely porn that gave me the most education about sex. And then, many years later, the Internet showed me even more amazing things, many of which I would gladly have passed on. There is a ton of crap out there in pornoland. And the fetishes you can come across: Geez, no thanks!

It's funny, I don't really remember how I got to know what I know about sex. In school I received the classical extremely limited phisiological information; I never really talked about sex with my parents (no regrets there) so I guess most of what I knew came from books, magazines and movies.
I don't think porn is a good "educational tool" for beginners, really: the comparison between what you see in a porn movie and what really happens in your bed the first time you try to emulate it can be sooooooo frustrating...

In school - but certainly not by teachers - but by the talk, bragging (not very serious) and gossip with the mates/pals - at an age of 12-14 or so.
Then came "porn" - not real porn, but all those girlie-magazines...
And finally after dreaming some years met an English girl who seduced me in a summer at 16 years of age - and I stared in disbelief as she gave me the first bj ever - and from then on: I was the man of the world...LOL

For me it was in catechism class at our Catholic church. We learned all about the various parts of the female body and how they look at various stages of sexual arousal, and we read a lot about how to get them into that state of arousal, which would have obvious benefits for us males. It was a really effective education.
Oh wait... maybe I'm confusing that with found copies of Penthouse, Hustler, Oui, Swank, Club, etc. Yeah, that's probably more accurate.

REPLY TO #3 - Denner :
Denner, a beautiful story. As good as any porn novel I read back in my younger days (Nowadays, I watch porn on the Internet instead of reading it.).
I dimly recall my first bj. I didn't feel disbelief, but it was a blissful experience. Except my first intercourse was even better. Memories. I haven't thought about either of those experiences in many years now.

A little bit of everything, I guess. Well, parents were pretty vague, as was school, which figures--the two sources that should be the best turn out to be the worst.
Porn definitely piques my interest, though I doubt it's educational in any practical way. If I could find a woman who could or was willing to perform the stunts I see in porn I would probably think I have all the education I need.
Hey, I'm probably still learning!

by sex ed do you mean safe sex and such, or learning "skills" for sex?
if it the former i'd say school as i actually had a decent sex ed class in high school, as for the latter i'd probably say non-porn internet. so i said other...

Education from school, I guess. But most of the tricks were learned from some entertainment ;)

I suppose I could have said "Porn," but it's hardly an education anymore. It's more like review -- LOTS of review! It's like writing "Nikky Case's ass is a marvel of nature" 5000 times on the blackboard.
