There's too much other stuff to do than watch TV, unless there's something specific i want to watch on.

Just the occasional documentary, probably no more than a couple of hours a week.

An hour or two a day. Documentaries, news (not "noize"), sports (usually baseball), dramas, comedy, and music. TV is mostly crap, but you can find good stuff if you look hard enough.
Come to think of it, TV kind of reminds me of something else (hint-hint) ...

I watch quite a bit of TV because married couples need to spend daily quality time together and not just live side by side. Thank God we have a DVR so we can record shows that interest both of us because most of the main stream material offered is garbage.

I watch very little 'live' TV. I PVR a lot of documentaries and watch stuff on the military channel, though lately they've just been rerunning the same stuff over and over.
News would be the next thing. Local and regional news (for a few minutes anyway when they finish the real news and start on the 'human interest' crap. World news comes from CBC and BBC, but mostly from two newspapers.
I do occasionally get introduced to some great British comedy shows. Most are well off current run. Like "Keeping Up Appearances," "Father Ted," "Black Books" and even "The Mighty Boosh." I'm sure there is a lot of crap on British TV too, but they do seem to do it better than those of us in the colonies.

The most I usually watch is about 2-3 hours a day.
Sometimes it's a little more but more often it's less. There are a couple of Discovery show that I'm starting to get addicted to. I watch very little network Tv and that's because I can't watch anything that is remotely refered to as reality TV.
I'd rather watch static on screen than be subjected to those shows.

Rarely watch TV anymore. In fact, I've reduced all my channels now to just basic. The Internet has pretty-much took control of my in-home media, leaving my TV anymore just another piece of furniture.

Some of what we watch is not on the TV, but I guess it still counts. Mostly I just watch PBS, the Daily Show (online). Thankfully now that we don't have cable I no longer have to site through my lady's strange addiction to "My Strange Addiction", I'm hoping its not on Hulu somewhere.

Maybe on average, an hour or an hour and a half a day. Documentaries, a few sitcoms and US crime drama mainly.
Share pat362's distaste for reality TV; it's cheap, easy, lowest-common-denominator exploitation; far more so than most folk assume porn to be.

A fair amount but not as much as I used to. It also depends on what you mean by tv. I used to watch porn on satellite but now it's online. I used to watch a lot of sport on tv but now I watch a lot online. Most of whst I still watch on tv is sports. There's occasionally a good show, film, or documentary on tv, but I am watching less.

tv used to be fine entertainment - now it's just massive - got 90 channels or alike - and so what - crap most of it.
But ok, still it's a way to relax and you can get lucky finding some ok programs in the news/documentary section - so it come down to almost a fair amount

I watch very little TV on a weekly basis. But I do watch some TV from the Internet (youtube or other source).

Very little, almost none. Whatever little I view, I view from the Internet TV.
