Denner (0) Yes, a lot - both for a new and for a well known site.
So, TBP - keep those discounts coming.

Drooler (Disabled) Discounts matter. They aren't the only consideration, of course, but they sure help. That's why I chose the "Yes, somewhat" option.

I would have been satisfied just to have voted simply "yes," rather than wonder about the implications, for others, of the qualifying "somewhat" or "very much so." I don't think they help in understanding the "yes" answer because they can mean different things to different people.

pat362 (0) Of course they do. There are some sites that have content that I think I might like but their join price is too high for me to give them a chance so a discount makes it more interesting.

otoh (0) Definitely. It won't make me join a site that I hadn't considered - but it will definitely push one up the list, and has done a number of times.

RustyJ (Suspended) Yes, very much. The larger the discount the more likely I'm to try a new site. Of course, no reviews or bad reviews here kills the whole thing ;)

gaypornolover (0) Somewhat yes - if a site looks incredible I'd join it anyway, but there's a few sites I have in mind which look pretty good but are on my "to join" list. A discount would mean I'd join that one before the others.

Capn (0) It will help, but content is far more important for me.

I put probably not, as I usually do not buy anything just cause it is cheap. I buy based on quality first then content then price. Which is why some of these video mills will never see my money as they are 9.99 and full of crap content. I see myself as the man out again lol. Must be a cognitive issues in my head as on my items I am always the oddball LOL. Well at least I know where I stand I guess.

slutty (0) Definitely, if it is a good deal I am much more likely to take the risk.

marcdc1 (0) I'm willing to take a risk on a site that doesn't have a decent preview section if they're offering a discount. Generally $10-15 will get me interested.

messmer (Disabled) Discounts will influence me but only if the site is roughly of equal quality to that of a more expensive one.

tangub (0) Yes somewhat. I wouldn't join any old site just because it has a discount, but if it's a site that interests me and is already in my to join list a discount might help push it to the top of the list

Jay G (Disabled) Even though it makes very little difference to me financially now that I am doing well, my old habits of loving bargains often make me buy something at a discount that I probably wouldn't otherwise buy.

Tree Rodent (0) Yes somewhat, it depeneds on the site or network. If there are a number high on my list, those with a discount go to the top.

Claypaws (Suspended) I put probably not. I'm with Cybertoad and Capn.

The discounts are so small compared to other things I spend money on that they make little difference. I feel the same about regional pricing. Put it this way; when I put a tank of diesel in my car, it costs £50, which is about $75. A few hours parking in a nearby city costs £10 about $15. A $5 discount or surcharge on a month membership makes no difference to me. Maybe a $15 discount gets me thinking but even that is irrational.

A discount has more influence on when I rejoin a site that I join frequently because it is multiplied by the number of months.

nygiants03 (0) I always take a bargain and always look out for deals. I rather not pay full price for anything I buy, porn or not.
