When I joined last week the billing company was Trustcharge which seems to be their default biller at the moment. Because that billing company is unfamiliar to me and the sign up page had pre checked cross sales I didn't take any chances and used a prepaid card to sign up so they won't be able to charge me again; my cancellation seemed to go through ok though.

Not that this will help you, but when I joined back in July I was billed through CCBill so cancelling was easy. It appears that they've changed billers. That's too bad since getting burned once I've vowed to only take memberships to sites that use reputable billers. (But I sometimes break my own rules...)
Good luck with this.

I now - think - it could be Trustcharge, too. Still not sure.
Did you get a mail confirmation of your cancel, tangub??

I did get an email acknowledgement of my cancellation request but it wasn't immediate like it is with Epoch or CCBill; I cancelled in the evening and the email arrived next morning. Also it appears they didn't immediately cancel the subscription; they wrote saying they would like to keep me as a customer offering to reduce the rebill by 50% from 34.95 down to 17.99 Euros to which you have 48 hours to reply whether you wish to take advantage of the offer or proceed with the cancellation.

Yeah sounds a bit underhand again with the making it difficult to cancel, they just don't get it, make it easy we will come back and use again, make it hard we will never return.

Hello Denner,
I am sorry you are experiencing this problem, but we have recently streamlined things ( And are further streamlining things with completely new Design and much friendlier navigation coming soon! ) with a dedicated Support website powered by Gammae. If youi click on Support in the navigation tab you will be taken to www.ddfsupport.com and you should have smooth sailing from there. It could take 24hours response for a cancellation, but you shouldnt have the problems your mentioning here.
Im not sure exactly what your mentioning throughout the rest of your comment in regards to :
7 choices of billing co. and all of the DDF-sites to choose from - none of them worked - and it took a hell of a time to go through all.
But I will check with IT guys as this is the first report of this kind of issue.

Yes.....Most websites these days realize that customer retention is an important aspect of running a business, and so of course, we try our best to keep a customer around longer. We encourage feedback, and we are doing our best to improve everything we can....including quicker response to emails.

Hello Ace
Got an answer this morning (European time) from Support - the same as tangub mentions, by the way. - and wrote back to go ahead with a cancel of rebill.
The things that puzzled me was no mail answer after joining - I always chose different login/password, so it good to have that on mail answer, which you normally get.
When going to the cancel site, your're ask to chose billing co. - when joining, I could no see which billing co. - and with 7 (seven) I mean at the cancel site you get those 7 different billing companies to chose from...
A bit awkward.
BTW: Any plans of further reediting older 2002-2005 video files (and of course join them)??
Another BTW: I enjoy being back again at this good ol' site - which was one the first paysites I joined many years ago.
Thanks
Denner

Hello Denners,
Thanks for your very detailed message! I really appreciate the insite on the billing Procedure. Im going to bring that up today with management. My feeling personally since I have been here is that the whole billing procedure, look and feel must change. Recently a decision was made to have our Billing go through Gammae, in the hopes that things would run smoother. They also do our retention, so thats why you see these new changes.
I will bring these other issues up Asap, and you can bet that once the new designs roll out in a couple months....these problems will be completely ironed out, if not before.
Were making a lot of improvements...we hope you can bare with us on the growing pains :)
Thanks for the nice compliment on the site though and always feel free to reach out. If I get your email...I will definitely respond.

In the future we plan to Re-Do all sets which have stunning models, or are particularly often requested. Currently I dont believe we have the resources for that unfortunately though as our main focus is bringing all of our sites into the future in terms of look, content, and member interface. Moving forward we just want to have the Best quality of FULL HD available, and focusing on creating more unique sets and scenarios.

Just and yet another BTW: Like quite a few fellow PUs here (messmer, for one) - I've had problems finding new material, new sites.
But as I have not been a member for a rather long time of DDF - it's almost like coming home - been browsing for hours and hours every day since I joined - and wow: keep finding newer, but mostly well known models with terrific new material...
Yes, great to be back (in spite of problems as mentioned)

Thanks Denners! Weve been working on finding talents yet undiscovered, one of our new Projects, and we have a slew of them coming soon. Thanks for your continued fanship. I also just sent an email to Gamma and they promised me that they will simplify the cancellation process. Regarding the email confirmation from DDF with User and PAss after joining, I checked in NATS, and its all setup to generate when the confirmation from the biller goes through. I will sign up myself tomorrow and see that its working properly, and if not, it will be fixed. So thank you Very much for bringing this to our attention and have a rockin week ahead!

Cool Ace, I'll look out for the promotions
Yeah I know it must be a tough time for some adult websites and seeing longlasting sites like DDF riding the storm and coming out at the other side is very encouraging and good to see.

Good to see so active webmaster participation! HouseOfTaboo is my favorite among the DDF sites, partly because it's quite unique and also active.

Looks like they have both pre checked cross selling and regional discrimination in place. I wouldn't trust this lot with my credit card details. Looking at some of those free download places, DDF don't have bad stuff. They would have my money if they could be trusted, but I'm not touching them with a barge pole. Where's my money going next? Not to DDF.

That's exactly why I used a prepaid card on this one Squirrel. When I went to cancel I got an email offering me a discount to stay and I had to reply to say if I wanted to take them up on the offer or proceed with the cancellation request. I've replied to say proceed with the cancellation but have recieved no acknowledgement they recieved that email or any kind of confirmation the subscription has actually been cancelled. It just seems like hassle compared to using CCBill or Epoch.

This sort of thing is a little worrying. DDF have a reasonable reputation, but are they resorting to desperate or dubious measures because of lean times? Seeing reports of customers being unable to cancel always sets off alarm bells with me. It may be a little unfair, but I'm not trusting them with my credit card. Using a prepaid card seems like a good idea on this one.
For me, seeing Epoch or CC BIll, as the sign up agent, goes a long way towards making me feel comfortable about handing over credit card details.

Yes, that regional pricing scam may allegedly be 'requested' by the websites.
In actual fact it is CCBill providing this 'service', so I avoid using them whenever I can on principle.

Yes Capn, Epoch is number one with me for that reason alone. It appears CCBill doesn't exchange currencies at what I would consider to be a fair and reasonable basis. Sometimes they have outright regional discrimination. Either way it amounts to the same thing. I go with Epoch whenever I can. Probably the best customer support too.

When I joined recently, the first billing company that the site was hooking me up with was apparently in Malta, a fact that freaked out my credit card company enough that they froze my credit card until I talked to their fraud dept and assured them that someone hadn't stolen my card.
Being an indefatigable sort, I joined anyway with the secondary billing company that the site hooked me up with - so I know what you're talking about when you talk about the many billing companies.
The billing company that I actually joined through sent me a clear receipt so I had no problem cancelling when I wanted to.
