Drat! Oh well, 50% agreement ain't bad. A webmaster's attitude is of the utmost importance to me. If he doesn't treat me with professional courtesy his/her site becomes anathema to me!

Yes, very much. Positive visibility on this site helps, negative really hurts. Not responding also hurts my opinion if there is a webmaster signed on this site.
Personally I haven't really had contact with any outside this site.

Absolutely crucial so I answered yes very much. If they are around and open to suggestions and feedback I'll stay loyal. No sign of them or if they're rude or defensive, I'm gone.

I responded "Other" because I have had very little direct contact with webmasters from sites that I have joined over the years. I think I have emailed website support staff on only 2 or 3 occasions, with satisfactory results each time. I do appreciate when webmasters respond to reviews and comments posted here about their sites, as long as they don't get too defensive about something negative that was said. Most webmaster replies I've seen here have been good, and most of them do seem to take the negative comments as constructive criticism.

I said yes, somewhat. When I join large corporate sites, I don't fine myself needing to interact with the webmaster.
However, I tend to prefer smaller networks; solo sites. Recently I really enjoyed the filthycuteonline network, and have long loved the excellent attitude and customer service at lelulove.com

The only place I have consciously been aware of any exchange with a webmaster is on Pornusers.com and to honest I have never joined any of their site - not because of their attitude but just because their product is outside of my niche interests.
Certainly when I've joined a site, the lack of communication from webmasters (EvilAngel.com specifically) doesn't do anything to warm my heart towards them but I've never not joined or quit their site because of it.
But I also think that people who produce porn are idiots who are clueless about what people want which makes me an idiot for buying it. So I guess I have no room to talk.

Yes, somewhat. A shitty webmaster isn't going to make me not join a website if the customer service is reportedly okay (which, when it comes to bad webmasters, it usually isn't). But it will make me a little more apprehensive.

I completely agree with you. I've rarely had to deal with webmasters
but if they start to use every possible excuse to justify what I consider to be bad business decisions or practices and/or treat me like some piece of crap then they can kiss my money goodbye because I will never spend another penny on any of their products.

I'm almost sorry this one came up. If anyone has followed the run-ins I've had with shitty attitudes from webmasters, they'll know which one leaves me with a bit of an internal conflict. Generally, I won't join a site where the webmaster is known to be neglectful or hostile. The bulk of porn produced these days doesn't appeal to me so it's no big deal. However slight, it's their loss. But, as with one of my favorite sites, I'm absolutely sold on the content, so I just resign myself to dealing with the shit and tell myself not to expect much in the way of support. I know it probably doesn't matter to them in the long run, but they'd definitely get more frequent subscriptions from me if they were more receptive to their customers concerns.

Ditto RB's comments. There is one site I really like with assholes in charge of the service function.
But apart from that, I will stay with a site that provides good support/webmaster interest and will drop a site after one month with a shitty webmaster when I have a need to contact him/her.

I said "not much", I've only had reason to contact a webmaster with a problem 2 or 3 times in 10 years of joining sites and each time the problem was resolved efficiently. However there are a couple of sites I have never joined but would love to like APD Nudes and Bryci but have been put off by the contempt towards paying customers shown by their webmasters in responding to complaints here at PU.

RagingBuddhist's comments pretty much match my own experiences and decision processes about porno spending. If the site's a bit dodgy, a shithead will definitely keep me away. But if the site's primo, then Mr. Turd for Brains just won't be pocketing as much as he would have otherwise.

Yes, somewhat.
The quality & quantity of on topic material is my main deciding factor though :0)

Not really, I rarely interact with them so I wouldn't have an opinion on their attitude.

It matters a lot to me - when it occurs. What I mean is that a webmaster doesn't need to respond to me personally, but when a webmaster replies here (or webmaster attitudes are reported here) that does impact on my decision to join a site. If a webmaster seems helpful, friendly and genuinely interested in providing a good site for members that is definitely going to make a positive impression. On the other hand, when a jackass threatens to sue me for revealing that his site is streaming-only, that likely means I'll never give him another dime.

And here I thought I took a lot of shit on those occasions when I've been told, very emphatically, that my opinions are wrong and that server issues were something I was doing wrong. But I've never been threatened with a lawsuit. Congratulations - you win the gold medal?

REPLY TO #17 - RagingBuddhist :
I remember getting the email from the guy and having to read it multiple times to make sure I wasn't confused. The worst thing is that I really liked the site (aside from the streaming-only) and gave it a high score based on content but I said in the review that potential members needed to be aware that it is streaming only. As I recall now, his beef wasn't that I told people it was streaming but that I said he was unclear whether it was streaming. He pointed to his Terms of Service which were VERY vague as proof that he made it clear to people that the site was streaming only. I don't think the TOS was clear at all, and even so, how many people read the TOS before joining a site?
But I am still convinced that regardless of what he said his issue was, that he was really mad that I probably killed 90% of his potential business from PU members by pointing out that there were no downloads. (The site was new and hadn't been reviewed by the TBP folks yet.)

Yeah, I cancelled my subscription to a site, that delivered exactly the content I want to see, but seeing how the webmaster is the asshole that the models have to deal with, made me cancel my subscription, because I always keep that in mind when watching a scene. The other side exists more often, thankfully. If a webmaster really shows passion and listens to his customers and wants to hear their feedback and you see improvements to the site based on the customer's feedback.

I don't interact much with webmasters, so no I don't see their attitudes.
