I must say the early results surprise me. My initial reaction is usually: can't those old guys see how much they make themselves the object of ridicule? Do they fool themselves into believing that they are actually loved or found attractive by someone who could be their granddaughter? While self-same granddaughter actually ... see Cybertoad! :-) I must applaud, however, the tolerance of those who voted for live and let live.

Live and let live I say. Actually where I've been on holiday several times in the Philippines it's not unusual to see oldish western men walking around with much younger filipina girlfriends particularly on some of the popular tourist Islands such as Boracay or Palawan. Obviously a lot of these girls come from very poor backgrounds and are clearly with these guys for the financial security but if they are happy then good luck to them. I'm certainly happy with my much younger wife although I'm not quite a geriatric yet.

Geeez ...... since everybody feels that way about 80 year-olds escorting "VERY YOUNG GIRLS" about and being seen with them, an all.......
I'll hereafter jus' keep my "very young" harem of beauties away from the enviable eyes of those who just can't afford the likes ..... or, those who're simply settled down to his "one-an-only." and can't get out'ta her sight to do that kind of stuff.

I was visiting the Philippines in the early '90's ....
That would make me then be a little over sixty.
Lemme. tell you, son..... I packed two weeks of living the kind of life there I could only dream of here in the States.
Didn't have to beg, borrow or steal to squeeze out the kind of affection one has to work so hard for from a girl here in my country.
There ....It was like I could simply have a life-sized painting made of a girl possessing almost any dimension of beauty I wanted ....and Voilą! .... my wish and vision steps right off of the canvas.
I only wish I'd discovered the place when I were younger.

I don't know any myself and the only ones that I've seen where rich with guys in the news. I know why they do it and I guess money is why the girls do it but I can't help and feel that these girls have very little respect for themselves. The money they are making won't ever erase from their minds what they had to do to get it.
To each their own I guess.

Is this about the Donald Sterling's girlfriend?
Supposedly she was the team's archivist--whatever that entails--not really his girlfriend or sexual partner, but he apparently gave her four cars and a duplex worth nearly $2 million since meeting her in 2010. So who says love isn't blind? Granted the guy's racism is a much bigger problem than the nearly half century age difference between them...but it must be nice to be able to afford to spoil her!
