Something like this just happened to me the other day, although I'm not sure if it was at the model's request or not. I purchased a number of clips from a clips4sale.com store. They all downloaded fine except for one. So I contacted C4S support, and they told me the clip had been deleted by the store owner. I went back to check the store, and sure enough, the clip was no longer listed.
I could not believe it that in the seconds between me paying for a clip and downloading it, the store owner deleted it. I emailed them about it, and I'll let you know if I get a reply.

Okay, so I heard back from the owner in this case, and they think it was an error on the C4S server, because they did not want to take that clip down. They're going to try to get me a copy, which is great.
Back to the original topic of the poll, I think it detracts from the entire site when you remove content, even if it's just a handful of models. Joining a site only to find content missing is like buying a book and finding that certain pages are gone.

I can be mildly disappointed when I find that some content from the site was removed. It's hard to determine if the removal was done at the request of the model, If done at the model's request, that shows a respect for the model.
On the other hand, there are so many past and future models, we should still appreciate the content that is available to us.

I don't think it's ever happened to me but I think I would be very disappointed if it did because one of the reasons why I join a site is to get that specific models content so if it's no longer there than of course I will be disappointed. I might even be pissed.

Most of the time you don't know, and model's request is far from the most common reason. I can think of a few sites that have told me they did this at their request though. AbbyWinters.com is one well known example, where models can buy back their shoots if they want them down. It does show respect for the models, in keeping with the AW brand of being a model friendly site. I guess I can't blame them for it.
Then again, there are massive sites like 21sextury.com that have never taken anything down, despite certainly having received requests, and I can say I am definitely glad they have kept it all.

So true. Enough cannot be said for the models and producers still creating and distributing great content.

I have not come across this yet, but if I did I would be a bit disappointed.
