Brazzers, scam warning

Brazzers has a small box that instantly jumps your purchase from a trial of 1 dollar to more than 30 dollars for a month subscription. The box is small and is already check marked, thus continuing forward in the webpage will cause you to make that purchase.

Once the purchase is made there is nothing that will allow you to cancel that, even if you don't use it.

Also, to unsubscribe you have to go through a company called probiller which is not on the brazzers home page. This company services many webpages and makes for an extremely awkward conversation. "Yes, I was masturbating, No I don't want the subscription. What do you mean I am a full member? I didn't sign up for that! How dare you charge me, that's bad business and deceptive. Terms and services my ass.... So, I can't get my money back? I'll show you."

And freakin slut wars only had one scene available. All I wanted was to see the star wars parody in some nice me time.

Amanda (0) Hi jebediah13!

Many sites have pre-checked cross sales on their join pages that potential members must uncheck when signing up. You'll see it marked in the Cost & Billing section on our TBP review of Brazzers here: https://www.thebestporn.com/review/brazzersnetwork/

Roberto281 (0) Welcome to the world of internet fraud! Porn sites are being devastated financially by all the free posts available on the tube sites, tumblr and the like so they resort to increasingly deceptive sales strategies like pre-checked sales of unwanted items and time-consuming cancellation red-tape to generate revenue. None of this BS exists outside the world of internet porn. When's the last time you ordered a frying pan from Amazon and got a toaster that you didn't want because of a pre-checked add on? Never. Its not just Brazzers, all the sites do it, in one form or another. I wish they would be as creative at making porn as they are in coming up with ways to scam their customers.

elephant (0) Yeah this really does suck and I hate using billing companies I've never heard, I think last time when I joined brazzers a while back the only way I could cancel was tell my creditcard company I'd lost my card and to send me a new one. I'll never join again.

Pre-checks should be banned full-stop, they wouldn't be so bad if they made it much clearer but I guess that defeats their devious plans.

Roberto281 (0) REPLY TO #3 - elephant :

For extra protection, you can get a pre-paid visa card, like green dot, at many convenience stores, and use it for internet billing purposes only, reserving your traditional credit card for use with trusted vendors only i.e. not porn sites. They charge about $5.00 per month service fee for the pre-paid cards. If you get in a bad situation with improper billing by an internet vendor, you can cancel the pre-paid card without interfering with your traditional card.

Rando9977 (Disabled) It's a shitty sales strat but good luck finding a site that doesn't do it. The Best Porn is pretty good also at warning you. Last, once you know about the strat you won't fall for it again.

If you accidentally sign up, call them. All porn sites are TERRIFIED of any dispute with the credit card company. Just tell them you will dispute the charge and you did not sign up for it. Porn sites fear this because if enough disputes are filed they may lose access to that network (VISA, MC, etc.)

I've missed the box a few times and handled it with a phone call pretty easily. Such is life.

I think this strat is so successful because most people are too embarrassed to call.
