Holy crap, wait. OK, that idiot Alosi who tripped the Dolphin player from the sidelines should have been fired. That was totally juvenile and unacceptable. Any OTHER anti-Jet talk will be met with yadda yadda yadda.... You know what I hate the most about selfish people? It's that they don't think enough about MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

I read a story that coaches/players tripping gunners on the sideline isn't that uncommon, the guy from the Jets was just a moron for doing it out in the open (not to say it isn't cheating though). In other news, I can't stand the Jets - mostly because of their recent history of douchebag coaches. But I wish you luck, as my team (the Broncos) isn't even in it, and I doubt they will be anytime soon after the horribly large hole McDaniels and their personnel department put them in. It is all about the Patriots. They have been putting down some major ass whoppings lately and I do not see it stopping, well at least I hope it doesn't. After they got raped by the Browns in a bad way they really stepped up their game. The Jets....? Oh yeah, those green guys. Their jerseys were white until the Patriots cleaned the field with them! Now that I talk all this shit they will get creamed in their first game! There seem to be a lot of teams in the playoffs that really should not be there. I also believe the Steelers are going to be a team that has a good playoff showing. I really got no clue this year. The Patriots should win it all on paper but I've shredded a lot of paper in time. The AFC is looking much better than the NFC although by me saying this it means you can count on the Seahawks going to the Superbowl. I'm definitely more pumped about college ball, the BCS Auburn/Oregon game should be a good barn burner and I was thrilled to see the Big 10 go 0 for 5 on New Years Day. Way too many bowl games and no playoff system sucks but the action is more interesting game in and game out during the regular season and every game counts unlike the pros. As for Messmer, remind me again what the final score was in the Canada / Russian World Jr. Hockey final?

Well I've been a Jet's fan since my Pop plunked me down in front of our tiny black and white TV when I was five years old and told me to route for the guys in the white jerseys. It was the 1969 Super Bowl and the guys in the white jerseys weren't supposed to win, but they did and I'm sure seeing my father's excitement made an impression on me. It became something I probably wanted to repeat: wishing for a team to win and lo and behold they win! I don't suppose I had much choice but to be an avid Jet fan. Unfortunately I was to be disappointed for the rest of my life except for a few good seasons and a few devision championship games along the way. The Jets were exciting during the Ken O'Brien days of the Eightees. He is one of my favorite heroes from the game. Being a Jets fan is akin to being a Clippers fan in LA. People wonder why. But fanship is just something primal and important. You attach your ego to a uniform and it doesn't matter who's in that uniform: they are your team and when they win you win. The one new thing about this year is that it's the first time a team with a losing record has made the playoffs: that team being the Seahawks, who have now advanced along with the Jets. You know what I hate the most about selfish people? It's that they don't think enough about MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

Yo, WeWilly, .....Remember the movie version "The field of Dreams?" "You build it and we will come" ... which became the mantra of a baseball story built on the fertile dreams of devoted belivers. The field was built, and they did come: all their major league baseball heros of a golden past -- answering the call: "Play ball!" Resolving that you're Not a Kevin Costner, but banking on the undeniable merits of your good-guy status, then It shouldn't be dismissed that the powers-that-be bring forth that great stadium again, only this time with a new, green, soft turfed surface... separated 100 yards to include gold-posts, chalking of the ten-yard-lines, endzone, and side-lines ....and finally readying the bleachers. For a seasoned member who presumably gives from the heart, having contributed so much to PU's features through his dedication and interest, and certainly one who has made an indelible impression on his fellow PU brothers, The field of dreams welcomes you to a front-50-yard-line-seat to a rematch of the 1969 Super Bowl, complete with your white-jersey'ed warriors .... pigskin placed at the 40 for kickoff and ready to do battle.

Grey, I just had to change this to reflect the nature of the website - just to keep it topically porn in some manner. If it ain't grits, it must be a Yankee. If you're going to lay her head over the pool table and fuck her throat, get your fucking hand off her throat!

Sorry man, although it was an entertaining game - even with no rooting interest. I always like seeing the safety dance. The Jets must have made some good adjustments at halftime, or perhaps the Steelers just thought they would roll, but good game nonetheless. At least it had some decent playcalling, the bears/packers game had some of the pussiest playcalling I've seen in a while. Punting from the 33 or whatever? Shit, grow a pair. It's not as long a wait as Red Sox fans had, but still a long time. The Jets were peaking at the right time, but Pittsburgh were better than in earlier matches. Can't complain about NYJ hearts though. They didn't give up, and gave it their all, even when they went two scores down. They almost had a shot in the last 100 seconds, but that pass by Roethlisberger, resulting in a tremendous catch, finished it. You could see how choked they were. They really had belief. They ran a great campaign, with what appeared to be only an above average team, through the main season.
