Pay per download at very low rates (video)
Example:
Most of us is probably paying 1 month memberships, canceling and moving on. We stay if we really like it. Assume it is $30/month and during that month I can download 50GB of video. It gives about 100 scenes in HD. To make it attractive to monthly membership users 1 HD scene should cost about $0.30

Pros:
+I stay for longer as a customer, muuuuch longer
+I pay for only what I like
+Promotes exclusive content providers
+You could sign-up to many sites at a time. In pay per month you are limited to 1-2 sites, keeping your monthly porn budget at $50-60

Cons
+You name it Edited on Apr 02, 2008, 03:22pm

Ah, that is a very good query. Considering the glut of DVD collection sites, I'm going to focus on exclusive content sites.

The Content: Craftsmanship
Starting at the beginning, there is of course the content itself. Be it video or photography, ideally there needs to be good lighting and well skilled operator for the equipment. That means the models need to be in focus, motion blur on photos should be kept to a minimum unless it is an intentional artistic decision. In general, the content producers need to know their craft. The one way around this requirement is finding a very specific niche that no one else has filled and sticking to it. A perfect example is Brazilian Facials. That site has pretty horrible production values, but you can't find content really much like it - the girls are local to Brazil and the male star has an impressive skill in the facial department only to be rivaled by the likes of Peter North.

The Content: The Set
This is one thing that is overlooked by many, many sites and it really separates the pros from from the amateurs. Paying attention to your set. The truth of the matter is that everything that is within your view-finder when you snap the picture or record the video, will be looked at by your audience unless it is cropped out. Sure, there may be a naked girl in the middle of the photo, but many of us will notice that half-eaten sandwich sitting on the end table simply because it is out of place. Before and during the shoot, pay attention to the set. Are equipment cables running across the floor? Is everything put away carefully or simply tossed in a pile? If something is highlighted by being separated from everything else - is it in itself attractive / interesting or does it have something to do with the theme of the shoot? If not - get rid of it. Also - keep track of what the model is doing to the set - she is focusing on looking good for the camera and might not notice that she dropped a crumpled sock dead center in front of the camera. Paying attention to the set doesn't mean you have to invest tons of money with Design Within Reach to have a badass looking set. By paying attention and doing some cleaning & simple rearranging you can make the set look neat and ordered even if you are shooting in the model's own bedroom. Abby Winters is a great example of this - almost every set is done at the model's residence and almost every set looks clean and organized. Brazilian Facials is an example of not noticing or caring (perhaps both).

The Content: X-Factor
The content can also provide that so-called "x-factor" that can make or break a site. That special, almost indescribable quality that keeps users coming back to the site, no matter its technical flaws. It can be almost anything, a performer, a style, a general air about the site. It can save poor sites and can make great sites truly epic.

So assuming that the this thread is more focused toward the webmasters that are trying to decide the best way to present their content, lets move on.

In-site Advertisements
Firstly, don't try to boost your budget by putting ads in. It is unprofessional and makes the site look terrible. If you want to add a links page to other sites that you recommend, that is something different, but any pay site with an ad for one of those adult dating sites really drops a few levels in my book. It gives a feel that you don't believe your product alone is good enough to provide an income from members.

Site Layout
The site layout should be simple - if you want to do a columns the best is only 2, 3 columns max. More than that and it begins to look like a newspaper. Even newspaper websites don't match their print format on their website simply because the viewing area of a monitor, even at 1600x1200, is smaller than that of a newspaper. Now I'm not referring to thumbnail galleries - the gallery in its entirety would be consider one column of related content.

Photo Galleries
On the subject of thumbnail galleries though, make sure the thumbnails are large enough, 100 pixels wide is about as small as you can go. Below that making out the content becomes a chore; especially on landscape oriented photos. Also, it is advisable to use server-side scripting that will allow the user to select how many thumbnails they want to see per page.

It is also a good idea to give the users a few options for the size of the photos. Some users don't like the full resolution photos and want something that simply fills their screen and nothing more. A zip file option for downloading the gallery is a must. If you want to get fancy you can also throw a check-box next to every thumbnail and have the server custom make a zip-file download based off the selected photos, but that is simply a neat trick and hardly necessary. The large size photos should be the full-resolution photos that come out of the camera (after whatever necessary cropping).

Photo Manipulation (Photoshopping)
On Photoshopping of the photos, one should be very careful. Your graphics person needs to be very good at it as you can easily end up with models that look like they have plastic skin. The most common error is using the blur tool to simply eradicate any skin texture at all. I'd rather see a pimple than see a model made of plastic wrap. Use Clone Stamp or the Heal Tools is much better.

Basic Photoshop techniques that I approve of (and actually have used on sets I've downloaded in the past):
* Whitening of the teeth
* Removal of pimples or scars or unfortunate birth marks
* Removal of bugs that flew into the frame
* Straightening of the image via rotation or cropping
* Color correction for fluorescent light or improperly set white balance
* Removal of out of place prop (e.g. A discarded sock partially visible)

While that may sound like a lot, each effect by itself is quite subtle and the combination of them can change a photo from looking nice to looking truly professional. None-the-less, always error on the side of too little photoshopping. It is better to show flaws and look real than to have models that look like they were designed by Mattel.

Watermarks
This brings me to the subject of watermarks. General rule of thumb? Don't do it. Yes another site could steal the content - just be prepared to defend it. And don't worry, if your site develops any sort of fan base and you make it very clear that you have exclusive content, your members will immediately tell you if someone is ripping your photos. Loyalty springs up very quickly for a good, honest site - it can actually be quite surprising and impressive.

Color Scheme
Back on the site design, lets talk about color scheme: The site simply needs to be easy on the eyes. Just as I mentioned about not having too much content - you also must pick colors that plainly don't hurt the eyes. If you are doing a bondage oriented site, you'll probably want black as your background color. Vintage? Some shade of yellow or brown. Anything else, probably white or grey, but mess around, see what fits and what doesn't. This is something people may think that they can iron out later, but lets face it, the basic site colors are going to be seen a lot more by the users than any of your content because they have to navigate your site to find it. So it is a must that the site be friendly and easy to look at.

Consistency
Another basic mistake that is made by web designers is a lack of site wide consistency. Humans being the marvelous pattern recognizers that we are mean that users will quickly note where various features they are using are and then will expect those features to be in the same place and look the same way on every page. So if you start moving links around or put a feature on one page but not another, you'll end up with some frustrated users. Everything must stay the same.

Also, don't forget that the vast amount of your users will be Western-culture educated, so that means they'll be looking at the site from the left to the right and will immediately focus at one third from the top on every new page.

Videos
Videos should be presented in multiple formats and one must be WMV - it is very quickly becoming the format of choice for all sites. Unless you enjoy users hating you, don't use DRM. The fact of the matter is users will not remain a member indefinitely just so they can still watch videos they downloaded 6 months ago. They'll either figure out a way around the DRM, or they'll get pissed and cancel.

In these days of broadband connections it is very important that full scenes be available as a single file download. Even if it is over 1GB. High Definition (1920x1024) video is quite the thing right now, but it is hardly a requirement. Your video, however, should be DVD quality. Generally that's 720x480, but you can get away with 640x480.

Due to various sad people with dial-up connections, you should provide the videos in segments as well. Through screen shots of the scenes is a great way for providing a through preview for users (especially those with slow connections). A video preview is even better. Streaming video is a nice feature, especially with the new Adobe Flash technology, but it is hardly a requirement.

File Names
For both videos and photos you should follow a standardized naming system that will be easy for both you and the user to organize. This helps avoid mistakes when you are uploading the content and helps the user organize it all after they have downloaded it.

File Server
The server must support the resume download feature - as most serious users will be using some form of download manager. Making the server friendly toward at least some level of download acceleration (multiple simultaneous connections) will also win you points with that crowd. A fast server is also a must. If a user with a high speed connection can't pull content off the server at speeds of at least 300 KB/s, then that is a serious problem. 1 MB/s or faster is really what should be aimed for as a goal speed.

Content Indexes
Indexes are basically a must. Assuming your site has enough content for it to be important, people are going to want to look through it in an orderly fashion. Model indexes are an easy start - if all the videos and photos are organized in a list by the models name, people can queue up downloads exactly the models they like best and be happy as a clam. Obviously an index of the content as it is updated in order of newest to oldest is a must, but I can't think of a site that doesn't do this by default anyway. Added points are gained by having indexes of other sorts - depending on the content this could be by fetish, by body type, or hair color, et cetera.

Search Engines
A real feather in a site's cap can be a full-featured search engine. Frankly, not that many sites have it. Do really do it up, you need to be able to tag a lot of information to your content. This means describing the models, naming the models, describing their activities and so on. A good advanced search can really make a site a breeze to navigate; always providing the user with exactly what they want at that moment and nothing else. To do it right you should provide a simple search box on every page with a link right below it to the advanced search page that will make use of all those little tags you've added to your content. Also, make damn sure to provide a help page teaching the seriously newbie users how to use it.

Recently Kink.com updated their sites with a nicer search engine and then forgot to make a big note for their users that it was in fact a Boolean search engine - which behaves quite a bit differently from your standard basic keyword searches. It is vastly more powerful, but can also grant you no results at all if you treat it like a keyword search engine. It just goes to show that educating your users about your site is just as crucial as making a good site in the first place.

Alright, that is about all I can think of right now. Follow those suggestions and you'll have your self an A-Class site. You'll also probably not have any life as you'll be sitting in front of your computer coding the whole time, but at least you'll have a lot of members telling you how bad-ass you are.

Cheers,
Toadsith "I'm not a number, I'm a free man!"

It should be fun to be inside. It should be attractive, and personalized. If I wanted to download porn wholesale, I can do it non stop for free until the cows come home. But I like a site that's enjoyable to use.

1. A balanced variety. Solo, lesbian, oral, anal, straight
2. Smaller videos. When I view porn I usually like to go from scene to scene looking for the one tantalizing bit that gets to me. This is usually the last 3 to 5 minutes of most videos. Cut to the money shots. Besides, I have seen some fuck scenes last far longer than any normal male could last (see Make it real below.
3. Spare me the anatomy lesson. Close-ups are great. But when she cums, I want to see the WHOLE THING; head to toe.
4. Make it real. I want to feel like I am an invisible viewer in the bedroom (living room, kitchen, whatever) of a real couple (or solo) enjoying themselves. See Abby Winters for some great private moments shots. One or two positions is all I need. And why oh why don't the guys cum where it counts. I spend all this time watching some guy fuck some girl only to watch him jerk off in the end. Who the hell would really want to do THAT.
5. Non-recurring. I usually cancel recurring billing anyway. I would be far more likely to renew at a good site if I knew i could do it once and forget it, until the next time.
6. Search, search, search.... LOTS of search options

The biggest thing for me is for the site to be easy to download from. It doesn't matter how nice the videos are or hot hot the women are if you have to spend all day queuing up downloads and not having time to enjoy them. A user should be able to queue up a full days worth of downloads in 10 minutes if in a hurry. Then when you get home from work or whatever there is plenty of videos and such waiting for you. I hate it when I join a site that maks me download in chunks and have to rename the videos because they were lazy and named them all "Video" or named them "1234" instead of "Alica bangs Ryan". People who do not use zips for the photos really piss me off! You know what, this all describes Bang Bros. so far!

What others have mentioned is important too, of course. So there is no need to regurgitate everything that has already been said, thanks Toadsith, you saved me an hours worth of typing! :)

And for fuck's sake! Stop with the download limits and DRM already! No Porn User likes this, so the sites owners are only scaring away customer! "For example, badandy400 has taken it upon himself to become the one man Library of Congress for porn with a collection that surely will be in Guinness Book of World Records some day." ~Toadsith~

No DRM, No download limits and full-length video download options. There are
a few sites out there that I want to join but I won't
because of these 3 big negatives. Dawn'sPlace has
DRM, ExploitedBlackTeens doesn't have full length
downloads, only clips, and it seems RealityKings are really cracking down on download limits. Why? These stupid moves are not going to please your members and we can spread the word on these limiting websites to all other possible future members. If any recent members of these
sites have noticed changes for the better on these 3
sites please let me know.

I have a laundry list of recommendations ... and rants! Will try to keep it all in this post. May have to edit (add) more later.

1. Tours: Show us precisely what we are buying.

Photo and video sizes change over time on some sites, so provide all of the details, such as "Currently 200 photosets at 1200 pixels. 23 photosets at 2000 pixels." Don't just say "Hi Rez," as that means NOTHING by itself. Give the pixel resolutions of the photos (e.g., 72 dpi) and the bitdepths of the videos.

Let us view gallery thumbs, not just one pic of each gallery. Europornstars does this, and it's great! DigitalDesire is doing a limited version of this now.

Videos should have lots of vidcaps, and of course no DRM.

2. Layout and navigation: It should be simple, intuitive and user-friendly. Have a calendar of updates and a model index; both should be FULLY available in the tour, too!

3. Webmastering: Be professional. Make sure everything works (thumbs, enlargements, zips, etc.) before posting for members or visitors to access. It's amazing how many sites don't follow this simple and obvious rule. X'd out thumbs, "not ready; check back later," etc. are irritating. Just this past week, I saw plenty of this kind of nonsense on various sites. Wish I could say, "Oh, sorry! My credit card payment isn't quite ready yet! Please check back later."

4. File names: Keep them reasonably short, yet distinct, such as Allison104hi.jpg. I don't care for file names that extend into the next congressional district.

5. Photos: Mininum small size of 1600px and large size of 4000px. Good lighting, color, and sharpness. Forget black and white, sepia, heavy shadows or other "artistic" treatments! We don't want art! We want porn!

And I don't know how many times I've given up on a gallery because certain images were at least partially blurry. Inexcusable!

Thumbs should be at least 100 pixels, as Toadsith said. I like sites that give thumb viewing size options. And have an option to view all thumbs on one page. Babelicious, 1byday, and FemJoy do this. It's great!

And the damn thumbs should show what's in the picture, not just part of it! Who likes clicking pic after pic, wondering, "What's really here?" DUHHHhhh!

Put all of the photos of one shoot in ONE gallery! I hate piecemealing!

Watermarks should NEVER be overlayed anywhere on the model, not even by a single pixel! (Watermarks are like car alarms: They don't really serve their intended purpose; they just annoy everyone else.) As Toadsith said, none at all is best. To deal with piracy problems, BodyInMind seems to have a solution: They embed your ISP info in every image that gets downloaded.

Cropping off any part of a model except for the upper thighs (about 4 body inches below the butt) is unacceptable.

And why have the model clenching her hands to her butt in every photograph where she's showing it? Is it about to take off somewhere on its own volition?

Cliches I've seen more than enough of: Angel wings, outside in the snow, holding an empty picture frame and looking through it and sticking her ass out of it, bent over looking from the between the legs, holding lingerie (etc.) between the teeth, tossing or "slingshotting" panties at the camera, lollipops, smeared-on foodstuffs or garage grime or sand, waving "bye-bye."

Other peeves: Misoriented thumbs and pics (should be "landscape" but is turned 90 degrees on its side!); sunglasses, hats, and fishnets that never come off; grass blades that upstage the model; flies that have landed on the girl's ass; small pets, horses and other fauna (I'm an animal lover, but not in my porn!); and of course, ugly tats and peircings. I wanted something new, so I left England for New England. Edited on Apr 07, 2008, 03:31am

Some very good points. And Tours are something I missed on my round-up, but I think you've got it covered nicely. One note to those webmasters though - on Tour videos, just like on Tour photos - show a few true resolution videos too - I like how DEV8 Entertainment (the folks responsible for All Internal and other sites) provide test videos at all of their upper level resolutions. You know what you are getting before you put the cash down. "I'm not a number, I'm a free man!"

Tours/preview - thats first and foremost.
I want to see or get a GOOD idea of what I'm paying for.
For this user its primarely the preview of videos: type, quality, formats and amounts.

Do not get it, that there's still users who go for sites where there is no real preview - and why do they not have that? Well, most of them are worthless anyway.

Models! Its importent to see who's in the site and how many sets or videos each model have - Pix and Video still give you that, 1ByDay now only show each model and not their sets/videos (in preview).
In general the selection of models is importend for a fine site - both hc and soft.

Good paying system - I hate it when I have doubts if my rebill is cancelled.

Updates - sites that updates daily has priority, especially daily video-updates.

Photographers who know what they do - both in quality and style - that of course goes for videos as well. "I don't drink anymore - I freeze it, and eat it like a popcicle"

I agree - a Good Payment System is pretty crucial - I wish everybody used CCBill, I've never had anything sketchy from them - easy as cake to cancel. "I'm not a number, I'm a free man!"

Several things I would mention.

#1 Don't put other sites down on your intro page. I won't say the name of the site, but it is a DVD site, and it says that other sites like their site put spyware and viruses on your computer. That alone made me back away from the site. I don't do business with people who tell me the false negatives of their competitors instead of the positives of their site.

#2 Give me a full free tour to look and see what models you have. I would also like to see how much content you have of the models as well, this has been done by some sites, but there are a lot out there that are still advertising such and such model, then you join and it says, "Coming soon".

#3 Don't be a jerk to me when I send in an email. I don't know how many times a webmaster has said this to me, "We work very hard, we have to charge X amount per month" and I tell them, "I work very hard too, and I won't give you my hard earned money if you keep raising the price" They then get defensive and act like 12 year olds.

#4 Stop advertising exclusive material if it isn't exclusive. My favorite model's site Eve Angel is still advertising as exclusive, but from what I can see they are selling sets and sets of pictures and videos to Teen Dreams.

#5 Billing Services, I agree with the others CCBill is the way to go. I haven't had any problems from Paycom either, but they did mess up and did NOT cancel one account I had. It didn't charge me anymore, but I could still sign in. To me that is a red flag because next time it could be the other way around. VXS is okay, but I sometimes forget about my accounts with them since you can't check them online like you can CCBill. I had a membership to a network that used VXS, it went on for 6 months before I realized I hadn't canceled it. Which that is my fault, but if they had a way for me to check my accounts online, I would have caught it.

#6 I would rather have average quality and all options than high quality and less options. For example, a site that has 740 on the high end videos, but only a 600 bitrate. I would gladly take a 520 high end with a 1,200 bitrate. With pictures, there should not be ANY site that doesn't offer zip files.

#7 Don't sell my email address. I have one email account that I have stopped using because it has countless porn emails in the inbox everyday. Someone sold it, more than likely more than one site.

#8 If your site is down for more than a day, or if you miss updates, or if the files are corrupt, don't blame it on hackers or being on vacation. I don't care. If my car tears up, I still have to find a way to work, if you can't get the site going in a day or less, then give me a free week for my hassle.

#9 No more of these split updates. I'm tired of getting 4 parts to a 5 part movie, only to see the 5th part released the day after my membership runs out. We know why you do that.

#10 No more DL limits, no DRM, let me use my download manager. I'm not even for sure that sites should be allowed to advertise "Unlimited downloads" if they don't let you use your DL manager. My first time I jacked off, I thought I'd invented it. I looked down at my sloppy handful of junk and thought, This is going to make me rich. - Chuck Palahniuk

Drooler mentioned something about file names, but my beef is different. What I am bothered by is when all the zip files for one particular site have the same name. I just signed up to one site and while I love the pics so far, all the zips are named "images". Thus, I have to re-name each file and do it systematically so I don't double the same file. Not only that, but some of the individual pic numbers in one file are the same as those in another file, and I can't extract two or more files with similar numbers into the same folder. I have to keep creating more folders. Either that or rename the files after they've been extracted. Too much work, and it makes for a lot of inconvenience which runs counter to the purpose of offering zips in the first place.

edit: Oops, I see Toadsith mentioned something about standardized file-names too. You know what I hate the most about selfish people? It's that they don't think enough about MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!! Edited on Apr 11, 2008, 02:03pm

Toadsith, Drooler and others have made such detailed and valuable suggestions that I have nothing to add except one thing and that might be a personal idiosyncrasy. Because I prefer pictures to videos I would like to see each set zipped (as already mentioned by others) and have it contain a larger percentage of the pictures in "Landscape" format. Twistys and Allover30 are two examples of how NOT to do it because about 95 percent of their output is in Portrait. I like a picture that takes up the full width of my monitor.

I completely agree with you, Denner. I turned my back on half a dozen sites only yesterday because they had a very limited free tour. The crammed a few faces and bodies on pages one and two of their "preview" and then took you to the sign-up. The whole thing reeked of "done on the cheap!" Too bad, because they fit myniche perfectly!

I think what you might be running into is the age of the photographers and their style because of it. If you look back at the 60's and 70's pin-up photography, much of it had models lying down - prostrating themselves to the camera and relaxing on a love seat, or in a large bed with too many pillows. So today's photographers don't want to imitate that, so they have the models standing, walking around, leaning against door frames or mirrors. All of these poses would end up in a very small amount of model in the photo if you took the shot using the landscape layout.

The second reason I think you see portrait a lot is that it allows the photographer to crop out everything but the model. These days, the set is pretty much ignored, it is simply there to provide good light and be a safe location for a model to walk around nude. Again, jumping back to 60's and 70's photography, the sets were quite involved. Part of the reason for the Playboy mansion being a such a luxurious and enormous place was that it made a wonderful set. Everything was in prime condition and you had dramatic woodwork, large paintings and potted ferns. Sets like that almost didn't need the nude model to be interesting.

These days a fancy set comes in the distressed style set. Nude models leaning on destroyed wall, or wearing sandals so she can stand among the broken glass. That is about as fancy as you see the set for the most part. More often, the model is positioned in front of standard portrait photography background paper - often to the extent that the viewer will actually see the stand holding up the paper. So the easy solution, if the photographer even cares about the background, is just to crop in closer to the model so we see less of it. Combined with today's standing models, portrait allows the closest of cropping. "I'm not a number, I'm a free man!"

Wow, do I ever agree with this! I could never understand the over-emphasis on portrait format (until I read Toadsith's explanation, that is). After all, what's the use of having a hi-res picture if 1) you have to scroll up and down to see the whole thing and/or 2) see a re-sized version of the whole pic fit to your screen? I like to watch my pics (which I organize according to all kinds of various criteria) in a slide-show, and it's a thousand times more pleasing to see landscape-style pics because they take up the whole screen and are way more enjoyable, especially since acquiring my 22 inch monitor.

If I ran a site I'd be tempted to shoot all images in landscape format, though I guess that'd be unreasonable since we do want to see the girl standing up occasionally... You know what I hate the most about selfish people? It's that they don't think enough about MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

Amazing, someone who agrees with me. And didn't I write almost exactly the same thing in my remarks at Twistys! Thanks for confirming that I'm not alone.

Thanks, Toadsith, you gave a reasonable explanation. I still can't get myself to like "portrait" it's just like using one's wide screen LCD or Plasma TV to watch a 4:3 picture. BTW, I like your description of some of the sets as "distressed style." You do see a lot of those.

I think Toadsith, the King of prose, has pretty much said it all. I only have two things to add:

1. Give a true tour showing what you got. Red flags start going off for me when all you have is an entry page and then a join page. It shows you're legit and you actually have what you claim to have.

2. Do a better job of cropping photos. A lot of sites now seem to be going only for the closeup shot or partial body shot. This is OK but when the whole set is like that it is a bit of a turn off. Also, I find it annoying when you got a whole bunch of "white space" and then the model is at the bottom or edge with a good part of her body cropped out. This isn't high art, it's sort or lame to me.

One thing I would like to add to what makes a good pay site and that is: small watermarks (Logos). I could never subscribe to a site like XL Girls.com, 40plus.mag, The Score Group etc. because of their huge, intrusive self-promotions. Anyone subscribe to any of these sites and have you ever complained to the web master about the subject? Or does it bother you at all?

very good point. Littlelupe.com does this, and when I 1st joined I was convinced that when I had seen this on free promo pics on the net, it was there way of protecting content. I was shocked to see it on the main content, I also don't like the fact that all their images try to save as Bitmap but that's another issue...but you make a very good point...

and yes, i did complain, but got no reply... Beautiful Girls Covered in Pearls and No Oysters in Sight

This is a long string already but I have one feature that hasn't been mentioned. If a site has bonus sites or network sites attached to the subscription have an integrated sign-in. One peeve of mine is navigating between sites and hitting that login box over and over again. Especially where I'm provided with the auto-generated user name and password.

I also appreciate good site navigation and search. The search and browse features should be sophisticated enough to handle the amount of content on the site. If there's only 20 videos a simple grid with sorting by date, model or category is fine. If there's 2000 videos a search screen should be provided.

Thanks for complaining, JB. I personally can't understand how these sites stay in business with those huge promotions marring every picture. But maybe I'm too anal about the subject, ahem!

On tour pages I'd like to see more variety in the
photos representing the scenes. I get tired of only
seeing pics of just girls with cocks sticking out of
all their holes. Who's the guy in the scene? You can't
see his face and very little of his body. This is
totally acceptable for POV content but there are male
stars I like to watch and will factor into my decision
of whether or not I join. Not justthe the appeal of the
girl.

Hi Pornjacker, I was looking in on this dated thread because I remembered making a post here about over-sized logos and was trying to refresh my memory as to what I had written, when I came across your remarks.

I feel completely different about things when it comes to male porn stars. I am quite happy when their faces are kept out of a scene because it tends to ruin it for me. For one thing there are too few of them, for another, let's say you are looking at one of those videos called "I like to see my wife make out with other men," and the wimpish husband who longs to be cuckolded is a porn star you've seen dozens of times in other scenes???!! Happened to me only today on a video site and didn't exactly turn me on. I realize that most of the porn business is make believe but I find it galling when the "husband" is a well-known porn star and the scene is found under "amateurs."

Now if they had found themselves a real husband and wife who encouraged the porn star to do the dastardly deed, that would be a different matter. But porn star as husband under the category "amateur" ... naw!

But I digress, let me just say in connection with the point you made that in general the male "stars" aren't exactly picked for their beauty. Their only requirement is to stay hard .. so from the waist down is fine with me!

Actually, I'd like it even better if they disappeared from the scene altogether and we had nothing but g and g/g on the average site .. but that's me. I can always dream, can't I? <g>

Id like to see better customer service out of porn sites. For the most part the Internet is an awsome resource but you lose those pesonal touches that make a nice shopping experience. Example, I go into a resturant often enough they start to get to know me hook me up with free OJ or pancakes...whatever...Like to see a digital form of that if im a member for a certain amount of time reward me with a lower price or exclusive content, or a F ing hello thanks for giving us money email...and if i send you and email with a question answer within a day....

Frequent/consistant updates- if you start out updating twice a week and then go to once a month and finally every other month then I'm not likely to want to pay the same amount for less content

No bouncingMany sites lock up or bounce you 2 or 3 times during a visit. They get big Alexa numbers but that doesn't make me want to visit.

Truth in advertising That is plain. Give the customer what you say your going to give them.

Customer ServiceI've cancelled membership on more than one site after rude service. If I send you an email then respond. If I tell you I'm having video issues then don't pretend like I'm the only one especially if you have a forum and members are discussing it among themselves. Just treat the customer the way you would want to be treated.

Hi, I am an online freelancer. My view is if we ask payment from site owners they should immediately give a ticket which should contain the payment request date, amount requested and as per the "Q" the date of sending the payment to our account San Francisco Gay Dating
