It's interesting but not so much the content as the fact that they had to report on it. The fact that they mention that people still believe that you can't get pregnant if the guy pulls out before ejaculating proves that there are some pretty ignorant people out there. Let's say that this is guy is correct and you can't get pregant if the guy pulls out before ejaculating. The fact remains that most guys won't want to do that and most young men won't be able to. Add the fact that pregancy is not the worst thing that can happen to you if you have unprotected sex. I'd rather teennagers and young people choose the safe way and use a condom. My problem with the way instances of teen pregnancy are handled in the media is that they seem to have no educational context within the overall problem, instead it is all but celebrated and glamorized. I mean come on, MTV doing a show about teen pregnancy? Are you fucking kidding me?! If that's a measure of qualification to cover a subject then next I expect Fox News to start doing a history of the civil rights movement--fair and balanced no less. Of course America as a whole has some serious catching up to do in terms of basic education about, you know, "it." S-E-X.
