Thanks, Denner, you just reminded me to replace my signature.

Oh, I almost forgot to mention the reason for it. Very loosely translated it could mean: "anyone who thinks porn is evil can't be trusted!" Edited on Aug 21, 2012, 02:02pm

oh...haha... well GRITS is an acronym for Girls Raised In The South, which of course if they ain't (a Southern conjunction) then they must be from above the Mason Dixon Line. And of course grits are great to eat.

Well I guess maybe you might need to be from the South to get it. If it ain't grits, it must be a Yankee.

Ah, now your signature makes sense, JB! Thanks. That's cute, a statement and play on words at the same time!

Mine change fairly often, so I guess the reason is to keep things fresh. (Yes, I did mark the death of Jon Lord of Deep Purple, but of course there are exceptions. )

Hey, BTW, Phyllis Diller just passed away. Well, as I was saying ... I wanted something new, so I left England for New England. Edited on Dec 27, 2012, 04:29pm

I rather like mine. I hope at least it does not annoy others.

Oh yes, do not forget about my other signature: "For example, badandy400 has taken it upon himself to become the one man Library of Congress for porn with a collection that surely will be in Guinness Book of World Records some day." ~Toadsith~

I love the Big Lebowski, and "shut the fuck up donny" would make for an odd signature. Also, couldn't think of anything else. Bunny Lebowski: I'll suck your cock for a thousand dollars.
Brandt: Ah hahahahaha! Wonderful woman. We're all, we're all very fond of her. Very free-spirited.

Mine has to do with one of the best sci/fi show of all time. Sadly it was created on the worst network on TV and thereforte only had one year and they screwed with the show from day one. Mind you they love to screw with just about everything so why shouldn't they have done it to my show. Long live the Brown Coats.

I don't like to use the word hate because it's not the kind of word that should be used litely but there are times when I could really hate Fox for their cavalier attitude toward sci/fi fans. Firefly wasn't the first good space opera show they cancelled early. Who can forget the great Space: Above and Beyond. I know some will argue that if Fox hadn't put up the money in the first place then maybe we would never have had those 13 episodes of Firefly and that movie but we will never know now. The movie was pretty good but I wish Whedon hadn't killed off Wash. I can undertand for the Preacher but not Wash. Mind you Whedon is one of those people that loves to do that. Long live the Brown Coats.

Anybody who watched Dr. Who should know what that phrase is all about. In fact the catchphrase of my signature is so popular that 9/10 british children know it. Since the invention of the Daleks in 1963 they are part of british pop culture and even made it on a stamp if I am not taken wrong.
It's a shame season 6 was not that good. But watch season 1-5 and you'll have a blast for sure. It's kind of anti-scifi but in a good way

"Never underestimate a human being's ability to fuck up the simplest situation" is one of two axioms in my life. The other is, "If you're not cynical, you're not paying attention". I see examples of one, if not both, every day. Today's example (other than the usual disaster of driving in Maryland) was going to Taco Bell for a quick snack. The bill came to $3.16. I handed the girl at the drive-in window $4.01. She stood there for a moment, holding the money, then looked at me and asked, "Did you mean to give me this much money?" "Yes", I replied, already sensing that this was going to be a trial of epic proportions for the girl. She started to hand me back one of the dollars but then closed the window and walked off. Two minutes later, the manager came to the window and gave me my 85¢ change.

I'm very well aware that many young people these days have trouble making change. I've learned not to give them the extra penny or two to round off the change after they've punched it into the cash register. But today's example of sheer stupidity astounds me. If you can't even punch in $4.01 to see what the proper change is for a $3.16 purchase, you don't belong working until you can at least pass a remedial math course.

This is a shining example of why I'm now the cynic I am. I keep hoping something will change and we'll start becoming a productive society again but... I don't see it happening anytime soon. Sarcasm is a body's natural defense against stupidity.

I've referenced George Carlin several times here (maybe I'll add one his quips as my signature). Anyway you made me think of this one:

"Think of how stupid the average person is - then realize half of them, are stupider than THAT."

I sometimes will buy a lottery ticket when the mood strikes me, and I always promise the cashier to give her 1% of the lump sum amount if she will just make the machine pick good numbers for me. But they always seem unimpressed with the 1%. The most recent lump sum amount would have been about $175 million and when I asked her what 1% would mean to her, she had no clue how to figure it out. This happens a lot. So sad. If it ain't grits, it must be a Yankee.

Red Dwarf was the most successful BBC2 series of all time. It ran 8 seasons. It also had a special 3 episode 9th season. A 10th season is in production.

The show is fantastic. The first two seasons have the best writing, but are weak on the special effects, but the later episodes have better effects as the show became more popular and the production budget was increased. I too recommend it highly. "A man talking sense to himself is no madder than a man talking nonsense not to himself."

Did'nt they go back and re-do the special effects in the first series? I swear I saw that on TV in the late 90's... The problem with the world is stupidity. Good call.

They did do remasters of the first two seasons. They redid the intro and jazzed up the special effects some. But the first two seasons really were all about the characters, not the special effects.

AND it reminds me of a favorite quote to use as a signature. Thanks. "A man talking sense to himself is no madder than a man talking nonsense not to himself." Edited on Aug 24, 2012, 02:00am

Ok, so I haven't answered the question in the Original Post, largely because a billion people have asked me about it and my avatar already (that's an exaggeration; it was probably half that) but since everybody is getting in on it, I figured I'd join in as a good neighbor.

Avatar and Initial Quote are from Patrick McGoohan's character "#6" in the iconic 60s British television show, "The Prisoner". I chose it to represent my feelings toward censorship and its importance to the porn industry - in short I'm against all censorship. I don't care if you are the ghost of Mother Teresa or the reanimated zombie of Adolf Hitler, I believe free speech should never be censored.

To tune that initial quote more towards porn, I made it link to Tom Lehrer's song "Smut", which also deals with censorship peripherally but mainly is just an excellent theme song for porn.

The second line is my title awarded from winning Wittyguy's contest for the Best Fictional Pornstar. My suggestion was "Alf".

The third line is a reference to Dr. McNinja and a question by which I try to guide my life, simply: What Would Batman Do? "I'm not a number, I'm a free man!"

Second Grand Order Poobah in the Loyal Order of the Water Buffalo

It's also a Flinstones reference. (I remember a line from Weird Al's "Bedrock Anthem" and The Google immediately brings up a site about the Hanna-Barbera version of the Shriners.) "It's incredibly obvious, isn't it? A foreign substance is introduced into our precious bodily fluids without the knowledge of the individual. Certainly without any choice. That's the way your hardcore Commie works." - Gen. Jack D. Rippper, Dr. Stranglove

Why and with what reason are yours....????

Looking at this video, which was made in 1983 (30 years ago), Emmylou looks like a porn star here (maybe it's the big hair) though I must say, she is even more beautiful today.

Ever read the book by Tom Robbins Denner? He has written several that I really liked. The first, "Another Roadside Attraction" is where the protagonist steals Jesus' body from underneath the Vatican.

My favorite was "Jitterbug Perfume". From Wikipedia: The major themes of the book include the striving for immortality, the meaning behind the sense of smell, individual expression, self-reliance, sex, love, and religion. Beets and the god Pan figure prominently. The novel is a self-described epic, with four distinct story lines, one set in 8th century Bohemia and three others in modern day New Orleans, Seattle, and Paris.

Well... haha... modern day 1984. If it ain't grits, it must be a Yankee.

I had to remind myself of why we like "The Big Lebowski". Of course, being written and directed by Coen brothers makes it a whacked out wonder and has the distinction of turning the real life Jeff Bridges into the real life The Dude.

One of the main story lines of this movie is that Bunny is a porn actress, so it's fitting that not only does she want to charge a thousand dollars for a blowjob but she appears as slutty's signature on the pages of Pornusers.

Just to delve a little further, Bunny Lebowski, born Fawn Knutsen, she ran away from the family farm outside Moorhead, Minnesota, and soon found herself making pornographic videos under the name "Bunny La Joya".

The porn film referenced in the movie, Logjammin', co-starred Uli Kunkel, one of the German nihilist kidnapper/friend of Bunny (the irrepressible Peter Stormare who's work I first saw in Fargo) and our own real life porn star, Asia Carrera (who went uncredited in The Big Lebowski).

While Asia was never one of my favorite pornstars, she nevertheless is an interesting person in real life, starting with the fact that she has an IQ of 156. Perhaps you will find this an interesting read - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asia_Carrera

So, all in all, slutty's signature is so appropriate on Pornusers on so many levels. Thanks for sending me on this journey slutty. If it ain't grits, it must be a Yankee.

If you're going to lay her head over the pool table and fuck her throat, get your fucking hand off her throat!

Hello pat362:

I'm a Brown Coat myself.

I never had a signature, so I guess this will work for me.

For those of you who have already read Pat362's post. This signature is from the movie based on the TV series Pat has brought up. I agree totally. The network never gave this excellent show a chance. Warning Will Robinson
