That's not my cup of tea but I never had an issue with any past/current members review of gay sites or discussions on gay subjects. I think I may even have commented on some reviews but since I'm not gay then it's not something that I could offer much on. Now of course I'm assuming that when you say gay porn. You are referring to men only or were you talking about lesbian trans and a mix of these different genres for lack of a better term? Long live the Brown Coats. | |

Every once in a while I see a gay male performer that turns me on - Liam Riley, Jae Gorgeous, Landon Vega, a couple of the guys from Teen Boys World - but they're few and far between so it's like any other site where you've gotten all the excitement you're going to get after a handful of scenes - eh. | |

As the resident fag I do appreciate the support I have received from the straight porn reviewers. I also consider lesbian porn to be straight porn as it is geared toward straight men. However, a niche for women who like porn should also be encouraged. There are all kinds of fetishes out there as well. the discussion about whether watching trans porn means that you must be bi or gay or non-straight in some kind of way is rather endless. I've seen trans porn performers go on rants about how anybody could claim to be straight and get turned on by performers with penises is just denial on their part. Personally I'm not going to put labels on anybody else. It's for each person to label themselves or not, far as I'm concerned. I would say that if you've watched much boy/girl porn, you've seen pretty much everything that you would see in gay porn. You've certainly seen a lot of guys's naked bodies, including their penises, you've seen a lot of blow-jobs and probably some rimming and other such stuff. And if you've watched trans-porn, then you've seen guys fuck other human beings that have penises, so that's one more thing that would not be new to you in gay porn. It's really just a matter of whether you're attracted to the performers or not. Back in the 70's, there was a big gap in production values between straight porn and gay porn, because I don't think that a lot of the gay porn audience gave a rat's patootie about production values. But these days when the ability to achieve pretty good production is basically the cost of an iPhone, and with gonzo being the main form of porn period, that gap is pretty much gone. | |

I would draw transsexual porn along the lines of bisexuality (but not solidly as PinkPanther put sometimes it comes down to whether you're simply attracted to the models). As one myself, I find myself both enjoying the company of women and transgender MTF pre-op women to the same extent. Both of them are great. I also really like crossdressers particularly ones that look convincingly female but you could still tell that it's a guy? I don't know, it's a hard criteria that for me is constantly changing. In terms of gay porn, I go through phases. Right now, I haven't watched gay porn for at least two years but I remember when I did for a brief period I watched it just as much as straight porn. It was good. That won't be the last time as I'm still exploring my sexuality. Hopefully there will be more gay porn reviewers as there's always room for more and there's a shortage here just like transsexual porn reviewers (I'll try to partially fill that void). It's not my thing - but when I join a network that has gay porn I try to give an honest review. I've been complimented in the past for adding reviews for an unrepresented contribution to the niche. That encouragement has prompted me to do my best for adding to the gay porn review canon. | |

This was an interesting thread, but I think your original question revolved around getting more gay members. Over the years we have never had more than a few gay reviewers at one time. What they had in common was a complaint that there were not enough gay sites listed. List more and you will get reviews. Once you have the start of a community, I think growth is inevitable. Gay porn is a hot commodity for those into it. I heard years ago that the demand for gay porn was greater than the supply. I mainly watch gay porn as a gay man though certain straight site salso appeal to me and I really enjoy being part of the PU community and reading all reviews. I've always been made very welcome by the users. I can only agree with MBaya here - I'm delighted if the site would like to encourage more gay members, but there are a lot of gay sites which aren't listed. I have contributed to the latest "sites not listed" thread and I hope more can be added, because I drifted away from PU when a lot of the gay sites I used to review seemed to disappear and suggestions for new sites were either not acknowledged at all but acknowledged and nothing came of it. The key to attracting and keeping members of any sexuality or sex is simply good communication from the site staff, and that has been variable in PU history from excellent to poor at different times. It would also be nice if some of the polls could acknowledge not all users are straight males. I appreciate the vast majority are and I have no issue at all with polls which reflect that, but for example the one on the page at the moment asking what age of female model you prefer could easily have just asked for an age of model without specifying that they had to be women. Where it's possible for polls to be inclusive of both sexes it would be good - though as I say of course the vast majority here are straight men and no issue with polls aimed at them which can't be adapted to include everyone. | |

It is per video. I did not see an option for any kind of upgrade. I checked out B on B. I saw 115 videos that could be downloaded in 4K. All of those can also be downloaded in 1080 without extra charge. I suspect that some are remastered as they were filmed before true HD (1080). I think you might like this as there were several bi scenes with women, a few trans scenes and even one transvestite. B&H has no 1080 scenes or 4K. The best even for the most recent is 720. Both sites are still updating. Please feel free to ask for any other specifics. | |
