Hi there, I'm Tom, your new PU admin! My name is Tom, but you can go with Tommy or Thomas or even a more creative nickname, like PU Guru or PU-Ca-Choo. Okay, okay, "creative" doesn't have to mean "clever" necessarily, but whatever you decide to call me, I'm here to introduce myself as your community's new admin. Now, I know that I can never replace Freddie, but since she's gone off to have the travel adventure of a lifetime, someone has got to hold down the fort and that someone is me. I am now your go-to guy for all things PU-related. We've been on autopilot for the last while since Freddie's departure, but I will say that there had been some discussion of discontinuing the raffle before I agreed to take the reins. Nevertheless, I am happy to tell you that I think that I've come up with some ideas that will keep it going by breathing new life into it. Things still need to be finalized before I announce the details next week. But without giving away too much, it looks like you'll soon have a chance to win bigger prizes. There will probably be more ways to earn raffle entries - without making the rules too complicated for anyone, including me! And I also want to make the selection process as transparent as possible. After that teaser, I hope no one is panicking about things not being the same. Change can definitely be good (or, at least, not completely terrible, if you prefer to remain skeptical), even with some bumps along the way. One thing I know after prepping for my new role here at PU, you folks know how to keep it real and that's the best way to keep our community solid! So I look forward to doing my part in making PU a positive and fun place for everybody to share their thoughts and experiences! Cheers! Hello, I'm Tom, your PU admin today. I made a post before and the message came up page removed. Then I made the one you see that says testing. Welcome to the forum and I wish you success. I see you are listed as staff, not admin. Do you know much about porn? Have you been a forum admin before? Will you be here everyday? Will the next raffle be next Tuesday and under the old rules? Will you check into the sites not listed? No problem with the "testing" post - I am guessing that you responded to my test post. Mine was to a deleted thread and that's why you got the page removed error. Sorry about that - but only threads can be deleted, there is no way to delete messages, even my own. There is no "admin" option for profiles - just staff. I also realized that even though I fully completed my profile info when I set up my account, you can't access it. So I have now filled out the Experience field in the backend for my staff profile. But in brief, I've been in the industry for 15+ years. Our offices are closed on the weekend, but I will be checking here throughout the rest of the week. Thanks in advance for your understanding and patience - I will do my best to be as responsive as I can. I must apologize for not clarifying about next week's raffle, but no, there won't be one. The first under the new format will be on March 18th, but reviews written in the interim will earn entries into that drawing. So thanks for asking me - that's important for everyone to know! Yes, the sites not listed are valuable as a tool for our team, so they're checked regularly. I realize my "autopilot comment" might have made it sound like that task could have been overlooked, but it's not a resource we want to let go to waste! Does Tom have an avatar where we can see his face? It feels funny to talk to a person who won't look you in the eyes. Also, what's the message on the back of his head. My eyesight is poor, and I can't read it. What is the message, and what does it mean? I think I can read it, maybe.  PU?I du! Tom must have learned to spell from our great stable genius. LOL. | |

Hello Tom. I hope a new admin will give this place a bit of a lift as I'm afraid it's way less busy than it used to be and I get the feeling it's slowly dying, which I would hate as I used to love this site. If you could please take a look at the "Sites not listed" thread, virtually none of the suggested sites are available months or years after being suggested. Fair enough some couldn't be listed and we were told why, but other suggestions have been ignored or we've been told they're "looking into it" but nothing happens. | |
