Anyone know if it's possible to edit avi videos I've just signed up to Student Sex Parties and checked out some vids over at the network sister site Porn Traveling. Well talk about long scenes, Jesus they are huge and even with a download manager Downthemall (eithe this is a crap download manager or real slow servers)I can only get average 300kbs even drops to 20kps but never higher that 340kps. Without a manager I usually get 800kps on some sites so very slow servers here and this is not Russian peak time, this is during the daytime. Anyway the movies are huge and going to take an age and so much hard drive space, is there anyway to edit avi movies and cut out the non sex scenes, OK watching once maybe but wouldn't want to see twice but would like some of the sex scenes mixed in. It would be better if they did an edited version of the movies themselves for people who just want to see the sex parts. Have you used download accelerator plus? It helps you download up to 30000kps, so you can d/l a 1gb file within 2-3mins | |

Hi EverlastingEdge, cheers for the tip, I'll check it out, I doubt I'll get those speeds but worth a go. I've got downthemall now working better as its averaging now with this movie from another of their sites hardfucktales at average 800kbs so an improvement. Any Video Convertor Pro allows you to edit video files by breaking them into separate segments and also converts between formats. It cost $29.95 but there is a free version available which may be more limited. | |

You can always edit vids in almost any format - BUT it takes a program/software to BUY - have not seen any free ones yet without serious limitations... BUT again: Why bother - it also takes PLENTY of time to do those editings. AND you have to download the entire vid before editing. Thought about it several times, but came to this conclusion: It's cheaper and easier in the long run to get some space with one or a couple of external HDs - and keep the entire vid as it is...and maybe do some fast forward to the part you dig... Hi guys Yeah I guess it will take time. I did find AVI trimmer which says its free, I may give it a whirl. I guess I need a new hard drive soon but don't like to fill that up with lots of gigs that maybe will not be used much, maybe best thing would be put the long movies on a dvd, I have a few of these spare, see what the capacity is on them, I'm sure they will fit a standard res student sex party on them. You can get a terabyte external hard drive for less than $100. If all the videos you're downloading are 1gb, then your storage cost is less than 10 cents per keeper video. How much is your time worth editing the video? | |

I got DivX author a year or two ago for avi videos. It cost me $30. It's not the easiest to learn how to use, and I can't say that I'd recommend it considering that something better might be around. I've never been able to take more than one run of a scene out and save that. Have never figured out how to make more than one clip and put them together. And I've looked and looked through the "help," but it's hard to use that, too. At least it works a helluvalot faster than Windows MovieMaker, which I've used sometimes. MovieMaker doesn't always accept avi format -- which is another weird thing. But at least MovieMaker will let you edit more freely. (I hate those "stick the cock in, out, in, out" parts, so they get removed.) I wanted something new, so I left England for New England. | |

To edit .avi files, use a program called gspot (not what you're thinking) to identify which codecs are used, usually divx or xvid with mp3. http://www.divx.com/ http://www.xvid.org/ http://www.free-codecs.com/download/frau...hofer_radium_mp3.htm With the correct codecs, you can use virtualdub to easily edit out segments without needing to re-encode the video. I've been using a program called Roxio Creator for several years now and edit a lot of movies in a bunch of different formats (including AVI movies) down to what I want to burn (and it lets you burn in different formats). While I do watch some on my computer I much prefer to look at my favorites on a 2 hour dvd on my television. You can look on E-Bay and pick up a 2010 edition for under 20 bucks. I recommend it highly. If it ain't grits, it must be a Yankee. If you're going to lay her head over the pool table and fuck her throat, get your fucking hand off her throat! | |

Dude, the download speeds off that site are totally bogus. You can get good speeds for just a fraction of the day (and in the UK it aint the bit that right thinking folks are up and about in lol). Rest of the time 275kps tops is the norm. What's more, if you try to download photo zips its usual for it to drop to 30 to 50 kps even though you were just getting 250 on vids. Good luck with the editing though but, for me, anyonebutme has the scoop on this - it ain't worth it. I'd only do it if there was a scene I was desperate to get onto a dvd. | |
